Shout out to Caitlyn for her expertise in helping me make sure the Valentine Card I had created for a friend printed off and looked just right. When waiting in line early in the day I watched as she answered customers questions and helped make each of our orders just right. After returning to pick up my order (great service in texting when it was finished much earlier than expected) and cutting it to size I watched her interact with several other customers and even though she must have been exhausted from a full day of work she helped each of us patiently and expertly. We came in needing 100 bound booklets. They were recommended to us by a friend so we had high expectations but they completely exceeded them. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in getting them put together and they got them done the same day (they did say that machine wasn't busy that day so that may not always be the expectation). Came in to just print off black and white copies from my phone and it looked like the girl with very short dark hair had no clue what to do when i told her what service I needed... She also tried to walk away from me and pass me on to the girl with glasses even though she was busy with a customer. Usually a girl with tattoos(hispanic), can help me right away and get me out the door in less than 5 min she is amazing at what she does and I met her when she was new to the job and she was not as clueless as this "new employee" so I don't know if it's poor training or lack of wanting to even try. I have patience with trainees but I was there for a good 30 min until the girl with glasses told her she could just print it off to one of the near by machines and there was no need to come back the next day. I was out within 10 min when she jumped in and took over. I'm a regular and love this place but this was ridiculous for 10 copies. Please train staff better or get people who have common sense. read more

I have always had a great experience with Americopy. The staff has always been awesome. I come here a lot since I am a teacher. They have always been helpful to me. I often depend on my hometown Americopy! I am writing a book and needed to print and bind the first draft to take with me camping to edit. I have depended on Americopy for years personally and professionally. Though not open to 11 pm anymore, still they are open late. They still charge 5 cents a page to print and are very quick! Kinkos quoted me 25 cents a page to print for me! I can email the file with detailed instructions and soon I am called with questions to clarify to be sure they get it right or to say it is done! Over the years I have gone to Americopy for jobs big and small. They have a whole professional print shop at another location but they print a lot themselves. They make great banners , etc too. Locally owned, always helpful and no comparison in my mind from the competition, I appreciate Americopy and being treated like a neighbor instead of a client.Americopy has been on MainSt for many years. We used Americopy for 6 years to send out a large mailing each fall. A couple of years ago we got a different account rep. who was constantly making errors. I had to carefully review quotes and invoices and send them back for revisions. It took several emails and phone calls to ensure our letters went out accurately. We have always used the same return address on the envelopes. This past mailing, Americopy decided to use someone else's home address. They mailed over 1300 of our letters with the wrong return address. No matter how inexpensive they are, this annual mailing is too important to leave in their incompetent hands. I love Americopy - I have gone there to print and they have saved me plenty of times! Linda - you amazing girl! However, lately, there has been a gentleman that is very rude at the counter. Times that I have walked in and he makes eye contact with me and shakes his head "no" each time. And when dealing with me, he throws receipts at me, and he even threw a bag at me. A BAG. That was a first! Plain rude. Everyone else that I have worked with has been so friendly and always with a smile! But when this gentleman is there, I'm uncomfortable walking in. Not just with me, either. This woman needed help with a copy machine and asked if he could help her and he rolled his eyes at her and said "yeh, I guess". Update. So I talked to the manager Carroll and thought I was going to be reimbursed and comp prints for ruining First Friday the biggest night for any artists and Saturday event. Carroll said we reimbursed you $170 and didn't charge you for the prints you didn't use. I was shocked. I still needed my prints and thought I was on the same page with the company. Any professional company would've reimbursed me in FULL fix the washed out prints they (FORCED ME TO USE*)and Comp me my prints. Instead my prints were held hostage and I was forced to pay $293.77 for an order that AGAIN was missing prints. Carroll the manager made it clear they aren't gunna reimburse me cause she already did with the $170 claimed and justified their actions by calling on October 7th (First Friday*) at 4:30pm and said my prints were already ready and that it was my fault i didnt pick they up in time. Even tho I was already at event and my bf and infant son arrived to pick them up at 7:30pm STILL TOLD THEY WEREN'T DONE. So not only did she lie, her company stole money and KILLED A 7 YEAR RELATIONSHIP. I was loyal to the company since 2015 and even gave prints for free to their employees when they asked if they could have buy one. I hope this was worth it cause this is the last time you will have my business cause not only did you did this to a struggling artist you did this to a new struggling mother who couldn't pay her rent cause you screwed my entire October. (IF YOU'RE AN ARTISTS PLEASE DO NOT GET YOUR PRINTS HERE*) This is the 2ND time that Americacopy ruined my night. Last Friday my order was suppose to be done at Noon and then I was told you needed till 2pm. Then I was told you needed till 4pm. That's was when my event started (4pm*) and then when my Boyfriend and 1 year old infant came to pick up my prints cause I was clearly at my event you told them only half of my prints were done and had the AUDACITY to charge me $205 for work that was not completed, given to me half way into my event and most of my prints were washed out. I spoke to Carroll your manager on Monday and was told I would get a full refund. We were only refunded $175 AND was told that your employee Linda understood we would not get charged for this mess up and was working on our prints. Tonight I was told by your employee Jayden tonight that i was being charged me $271. I had to cancel this show and will lose money AGAIN by Americopy . Jayden refused to help me and kept telling me I need to speak to a manager on Monday and the only way I could get these prints was to pay this order in full. I'm beyond disgusted and extremely upset. I've been with you guys since 2015 and I've never had this issue or been treated so horribly ever. It's common sense for any Real Professional business to absolutely REFUND the Entire order and redo the customer's order that YOU screwed up on for being loyal to your company for all these years. I have been going to Americopy for over 20 years and I think they're great! They're a small local copy shop and they have all one needs when making copies. I've worked with their staff on multiple occasions and they have been very helpful every time. Granted, the demeanor and manner of some of the staff is tense, they get the job done and they have great prices. If you're expecting a concierge when you make prints, then it's probably not your place to go. But, if you're a busy soccer mom making 50 flyers or a budgeting college student making copies of a report, this is an ideal place to go. read more

My wife was quoted about $40 for a project that she had. When she picked it up she was charged ~$95, and when she asked the manager why it was more than double what she was quoted, they told her "whichever employee laminated used way too much material so it ended up costing more for the material." The job was sloppy, with excess space on each sheet (thus making the project way more expensive). They ultimately refunded her only $9. But she still paid double what she was quoted. On top of that, they gave her order to another customer that had our same last name... so we had to track down that customer and meet up with them at the store to fix the error, as they had paid for our order thinking it was theirs... what a mess. read more

I have been going to Ameracopy for many years. They have always been top notch with their quality and service. I highly recommend them for all your printing needs. One time they undercharged me for a printing job by mistake. Rather than ask me to come in and pay them the difference, they said because it was their mistake they would absorb the difference. I was very impressed that they did not ask me to make a trip back to pay the difference. This was not just a few dollars. It was almost $200.00 on an almost $300.00 printing job. This store stinks. I needed to make some copies for my small business from a file in on my SD card and they could not help me. If this mom and pop store wishes to compete with larger office supply stores they should invest in equipment such as memory card readers that have been in existence for almost a decade . When I asked about emailing them the file, like I have done several times at OfficeMax, they told me that the one person who has access to the email account was not in . When i asked about passing them the file via my phone and a usb cable they told me "its against policy". My experience was frustrating and a poor one. read more

The only reason I'd go to Americopy is for cheap black-and-white copies (particularly on Friday's). 1. Their color printers are consistently too yellow, even with properly white-balanced images. As a result, skin tones can't be rendered accurately. I modified the white-balance on the images embedded into my PDF three times (one a little yellow, one proper, and one a little blue)--all three times the midtones came out various shades of yellow. I showed them to the employee who did them and she said, "Yeah, that's true, they're a little yellow" without offering any solution. Unless you don't care about color accuracy, don't bother getting color prints done here. I ended up going to Kinko's right down the street and their printers rendered color much more accurately. 2. I've interacted with two employees during my two visits here. From the looks of it, the first employee was a little higher up than the second employee. While she had good intentions to help me with my project by trying to pinpoint possible errors in my files, she was extremely aggressive about it. Think: Mom when she's come home from work and discovered you didn't do your chores. While well-intentioned, her tone and her frank I'm-sure-you-messed-something-up attitude was not conducive to inviting customer service. Customers are not your children. The second was much nicer and helped me get what I needed to get done, however you could hear her give out a frustrated moan when she got off the phone with a customer and later when she went into the back of the store to talk to a co-worker. From the looks of it, their behind-the-scenes tension is effecting their customer service, which makes the do-it-yourself machine at Kinko's much more inviting. read more

Came here to get some papers printed and laminated for work. Was very disappointed by the customer service. We came in to drop our things off, we filled out the information just as the lady told us. Scheduled a pick up time for the next day. We came in and nothing of ours was done. There's a nasty old lady who tried to blame us for our papers not being laminated and that our email didn't have a description in it(which it did since their employee walked us through the whole thing and we even got a confirmation email back). In the end we just asked for our things back, the old lady just kept barking at us even while we were walking out the door. Improve your customer service, and you should probably get some different employees. read more

I just discovered this place. I come here when I need to fax something or get color copies. The price of color copies is half the price you'd fetch at Kinko's just three blocks to the east. It's about the same turnaround time. Americopy can definitely get me out of a bind. However, Todd always looks at you, the customer, as if you have two heads. Look at the Google reviews for this Americopy and you'll see that he treats everyone this way. I don't know if it's age and he just hasn't had exposure to lots of different kinds of people. Needed 300 copies of a funeral program made. I was super stressed out and needed these done as soon as possible. I was a bit apprehensive about how these would look and although they were busy Eddie took the time to print me out a copy to review. They had all 300 copies done and folded within a few hours! Americopy is a copy shop and so much more! You can go and use their self service machines and make your own copies or send your files via email and pick up the copies when convenient. Speaking of convenient, they are open from 6 am-11 pm- can't ask for more than that! They also have a large area where you can go and use their paper cutters, put your projects/paper packets together and they even leave paper clips, staplers and rubber bands out for customers to use. They do passport photos and special print projects. I have used them to convert a paperback manual into a spiral bound book. I have visited their store on a monthly, sometimes weekly basis and have always received great customer service. It is great to be treated with a smile and friendly conversation. read more
