Updated review: I was in a pinch and needed to get some fliers done so I stopped in. I was told to use the computer to make my flyer which was 45 cents a minute. It made me use canva which then would not let me save and print. It only allowed me to make an order which I could print later and not save. After wasting 40 mins with the manager saying sorry he doesn't know what to do, the other employee said she could log me out so I could stop paying and she could charge me an extra $17 to make me a proof so I could print. She finally agreed to print mine for me. Once again an even more horrible experience then before. Thanks to her I got what I needed after an hour and double the price. The employees are nice but have no access to the systems to help. This IS NOT A PRINT SHOP. Lowered to 1 star review. Previous review 2024: I've been a patron of this location since it was kinkos. Today will be my last time as a patron of fedex. Over the years, the ease of use and convenience has disappeared and the cost of simple prints has skyrocketed. I visit different FedEx locations every few weeks to use the self-service printers, and this was by far the best customer service experience I've had at any FedEx. I made a mistake with one of the printer settings that would have completely ruined the project I was working on, but thanks to the advice and help from Tre (I hope I'm getting his name correct), I was able to finish without starting over. This is a very relaxed a location where you can sit back in a quiet space to get a lot of your work done. If you need any printing or a copy needs this is definitely a place to go. They have time machines that allow you to do all the stuff that you need to make sure you stay productive and you augment your productivity in an expeditious fashion The parking lot is really big and he has a lot of room for you to park your car. Especially if you have a bigger vehicle it makes it simple for you to be able to park your car. Fortunately, I haven't had any really bad experiences here, but neither have I had any spectacularly good ones. I've been coming in here a lot when I'm in town and there are definitely disadvantages to asking them to help you out versus just doing your own printing at home when you can. They aren't very cooperative or skilled at putting several items on one sheet to save on paper. When I wanted to copy an obituary to include in a newsletter they said they couldn't do it because of copyright laws since it came from the newspaper. It's almost more trouble than it's worth to make back to back copies. And color copies are not cheap if you want to do a bunch plus they don't like you putting cardstock in their machines. The employees aren't very cheerful, friendly, or all that helpful. On the good side, they have a killer paper cutter, though a bit overkill for your average papercrafter. And they have a variety of supplies available to use, so if you're desperate for a bit of tape or a paper clip, rubber band or pencil, it's there on the work table. They also have a few computers you can use, don't know what the fee is. I looked into getting business cards printed here once but there were no bargains that I recall. I think you have to use the card system now. Where you used to just make all your copies, give them a total at the end, and pay up, now I think you have to purchase a card with money on it to put in the machines. read more

regularly use this store to ship items and I can not say enough how pleased I am each time with the team members working here, a review is long overdue! Prior to today's visit, with the help of various team members, I was able to get my dream job. I tried printing off a large document at home and it just was not coming out the way I needed it. I took the job to this FedEx location and not only did the team member help me print it, but he also helped me to bound the final product to make it look professional. Another time, Tony helped me to create a quick business card. On today's particular, I needed some item laminated and knew I would take it to this team. Immediately upon walking in I was greeted. Though all the team members were busy I was told I would be helped shortly, which was less than a minute. Daysi ended up helping me with my lamination. She did let me know it would be a while and offered to call me when the job was done. The final product was outstanding and I will definitely return to have other items laminated if necessary. The team members working: Daysi, Mike, and Victoria along with the other team members who I haven't worked directly with ALWAYS do an outstanding job! I had a really good experience at this location. I arrived eager with my thumb drive in hand. Only to quickly have my eye glaze over in fear of uncertainity on which machines to use for my projects. I was quickly greeted by the super nice and helpful staff, who set me on the right track. Even though the machines were having some technical difficulties, the issues were soon fixed and I was on my printing journey. I used a couple different machines and I highly recommend most. However, the Sony photo print station, while the actual prints were pretty good, my images got chopped off a bit from the file to the print. Not a ton but something to really keep in mind. I even left space on the original file to be sure there was enough room just in case this were to happen. I suggest leaving even more room than you expect you might need. It was most noticeable on the top margin of the print. I printed 8x10s and they are $4.99 a pop so it isn't very practical to go to town printing out more copies if there are mistakes. Overall, this store definitely knows how to get the job done! read more

I've spent a little bit of time here over the summer getting stuff done, not only for my job hunt but just because I needed thier services in general. They are a Fedex facility, so you can come in, make copies, do your stuff and send out packages as well. I mostly use this place for copies and faxing. Thier prices are fair and the hours are amazing! I came here today because I do not have a printer at home, and found out that I can bring in my laptop and print from one of thier stations. (If I had a flash drive I could have done that too, but I dont own one and don't feel like I need to at this time) so I took my laptop with the information to be printed out.) When I got there, I was able to email my documents to the stores email (from my laptop at th work station) and they were able to print them off for me while I waited. I love this! You can email from anywhere to thier store and they will print it for you! This place also sells a variety of home office supplies as well for all your needs. I do plan on utilizing this place on a regular basis, as I really like the variety of stuff that I can do here....definately more options then Staples or whatnot. I mean, Staples serves a purpose, and I shop there too, but I find that for all around stuff like faxing, printing and copying, Kinkos seems to have it down pat. The only reason I get frustrated here is the service. I mean, their competent, professional and seem to know what thier doing, but they seem to lack excitement for thier job, or personality or whatever it is...that pizzazz. I mean, I dont need to walk into a circus show, (though it would be nice at times) but maybe an occasional smile, some kind of enthusiasm, I guess. They just seem to lack enthusiasum for what they do. Very serious, non laughy types here. I don't frequently go to Fedex. But today I went to drop off some items to be packed and shipped at the expense of another company. It was computer equipment. Victoria was less than helpful once I told her what I needed. She went as far as to say I was making her job difficult. I'm sorry, does Fedex not pack and ship packages? I used to work in a Fedex center several years ago. Employees who service the public directly should be mindful of what they say and do in front of their customers. Went here a few weeks back, the manager was extremely helpful! Had to laminate some prints and he was very helpful, quick and friendly!

I know some people think masks are helping but there are also people who believe masks are doing nothing but harming the people who are wearing them. I am the latter. Therefore when I already have the mask on my face which is more than I should have to do living in a free country, and then the worker at FedEx tells me where exactly to place it on my face... in no way does anyone have the right to tell me the exact placement of the thing on my face that I shouldn't even be wearing in the first place, least of all a worker at FedEx. Kinkos was way better before Fed X bought them out! I stopped in here to get 750 fliers printed for a church event, I brought my own paper (heavy stock) and just to print and cut 375 sheets to make 750 they wanted $240 dollars....I was thinking it would be $100 tops. We we found a place that did the same job for $80. The lady working there was nice but didn't give me any pricing until I asked her after she just started printing a few. Bella was super helpful and patient when I brought in a package the other day. I was trying to ship a 3 tier dream catcher and unfortunately it only fit in a medium sized packing box. Not only did she help it fit in a smaller box, cut it down, but also offered to pack it more with filler so that it would not be damaged. I live in Peoria and have tried using the fedex stores in my area but they don't compare to the Alma school location. I've worked with several employees here and they have all been helpful. I had 200 copies made and 2 part ncr copies which all came out perfect. Most locations tell me it's going to take a minimum of 24 hours to complete my order. Where as this location strives for greatness and gets it done within an hour usually. Daysi and David helped me today and were great to work with. read more

Nice printing work, but not professional. For my business, I hired out a display ad for a national magazine, and had a pdf, professionally sized and marked up with a 1/4" bleed all around, as is common in the industry. I wanted to print a few copies to keep in the office and frame one. I will usually send print jobs like this to Sir Speedy, but thought I'd try FedEx Office this time, as it was more convenient for my small order. I was uneasy as I uploaded my file. There was nothing about bleeds or crop marks in any of the screens as I submitted my work. I attempted to explain in the "special instructions" window, and the system told me I'd get a phone call. But I guess the clerk thought he could figure it out without a call, and when I picked it up I had a slightly shrunken print job, and was charged for cutting it down to cut off the crop marks. He gave me a beautiful stack of fliers but unfortunately they were 7 15/16 x 10 3/8 instead of the 8 1/2 x 11 that I had ordered. Bottom line - they do nice work, but the system is dumbed down for the general public. Don't send them your professional print work. read more

I stopped here recently to send a package back to its warehouse for an exchange. I wasn't looking forward to having to go in without my husband since I'm so used to men trying to take advantage of women who are alone. I hand the guy my package which already had a shipping label on it from the company. He shakes it a little bit and says that it needs some filler in it because it can get crushed easily otherwise, for $3.50. These were stinking shoes I was sending back. I asked him if he was serious and then said I would be putting my own filler in the package. Then I went on over to the Fed Ex on Main and had ZERO issues. The worker by the name of Jay was being difficult for no reason. He refused to print our baby shower invitations claiming that they were copywritten. They were just baby shower invitations without any company name or logo on it. I have no idea why he was acting the way he did. He was treating the other customers just fine. Maybe it's because we were minorities. I hope fedex isn't promoting racism cause that's the only way I can explain our experience here today. A different worker was going to print our invitations for us but Jay stepped in and said it was not something the store could print for us. This was a horrible experience. Jay needs to get some customer service skills and also needs to start treating everybody equally. I'm thinking of reporting this experience to the better business bureau. Only reason I didn't rate 1 star is cause Wholly, that was the name of the other worker, was actually helpful and gave us a refund for the stuff we could't print. Jay outranked her so she couldn't go against what he said about the invitations but she did all she could. Avoid this store until they get rid of Jay. read more

My wife went to this store. The customer associate Jay (middle aged man with glasses and a beard) that was working was abysmally unhelpful. My wife had a simple request: She wanted to print 14 color prints for use in a project for her school. Now, having reviewed the charges she incurred and comparing them to the charges they should have been, I have realized that we were charged double what we should have been. I hold Jay 100% at fault for this as he did not address or help her troubleshoot any of her needs to get the best possible value for the money spent. Instead of telling my wife that she could have user her cell phone to upload the photos she had to her google drive and then accessed photos from her google drive, he told her that she should just use one of fed ex/kinkos kiosk print PCs. My wife, heeding his "professional advice" did so and wracked up the a bill for $21.21. What we were ultimately charged came out to: $19.95 for what should have been $8.92 for 13 prints at $0.59 per plus AZ state tax. We also incurred an additional $1.26 charge because when I had asked Jay "Does this copier currently have '24lb' paper in it and can we print off of that drawer?" he replied yes. We then printed a single sheet and it printed on standard printer paper. We then had to ask Jay for '24lb' paper and without saying anything he loaded the printer with the proper paper and we had to print another sheet incurring an additional $0.59 cent charge bringing the total for 14 color prints to: $21.21 We payed $21.21 for 14 color pages of '24lb' paper and 1 page of color print on standard office paper that was printed in error after following Jays 'professional advice'. There were several ways the associate could have assisted Us: 1.) By being more helpful to customers 2.) By being more knowledgeable about fed ex/kinkos service options 3.) By even showing an inkling of regard towards his job duties and providing actual customer service. The overall feeling we got from Jay was that he simply didn't care about helping customers and that he ultimately hated his job. Instead of telling my wife that she could have user her cell phone to upload the photos she had to her google drive and then accessed photos from her google drive, he told her that she should just use one of fed ex/kinkos kiosk print PCs. My wife, heeding his "professional advice" did so and wracked up the above mentioned $21.21 bill. I will be avoiding this store at all costs, warning all friends and family in the area to avoid this store and posting this same complaint, in all it's detail to Yelp, Google, and other online review sites. Every time I stop in at this location the line always moves slow. The longest I've waited was about 25 minutes. Today I stopped in to have one paper printed out on just your regular printing paper, nothing fancy. I waited 10 minutes and was asked if someone could cut me because they had an interview to make. I told the lady helping me "Well I need to make it to class" and she was SO offended because I didn't feel sorry for someone who should've arrived early. I arrived 15 minutes early because I know I'll ALWAYS have to wait. This place needs more employees and the simple standard "First come, first serve" reintroduced to this FedEx. The customer service is mediocre which isn't surprising at a place like this. I'm going to start searching for an alternative printing service. A couple of weeks ago, I was planning a party and needed some items printed, this was on Saturday, May 15th. I uploaded some flyers and documents to print online and picked them up at Kinkos. I also needed some other items printed. The girl at the counter, told me that I would have to pay $1 for each pdf that she opened for printing over 5. I understood that, I wasn't happy about it, but the way she talked to me was so vile, I felt that I had been slapped, the hate in her voice was palpable. I was not rude nor did I speak to her in a demeaning manner. This was possibly the worst customer service attitude I had ever been exposed to; I felt like I had be violated...her name was Meegan (sp) Meghan. I then went to use the self-service computer to print these items myself, but due to the fact that I didn't want to speak with her again, I just left, even though I basically couldn't get the system to work.
