I asked the realtor for advice and got someone to clear out the damaged flooring, etc. We got someone in there but it didn't look like a lot of care was taken. When I was in contact with my insurance company he gave me a list of preferred vendors that he regularly works with. PS., he had never heard of the original demo team (not a surprise). Summit was on this list and ready to aid me in restoring the home to be even better than it was before. They came and did a walk-through and gave me a quotation which seemed reasonable considering the damage to the primary suite bathroom and bedroom. I decided to upgrade the flooring from the original carpeting and had them put in vinyl plank which looked great. Cody was our project manager and he did a great job of keeping me updated considering I was managing this project from a distance as I still had my own house, job, etc., to consider. I worked with Lonnie, Robbie, and Donovan and they were all very helpful and were careful to minimize disruption as I was still working on some things within the house. I appreciated that they cleaned up after themselves (I mean everyone should) but they took care to do that and I was really pleased with the end result. Cody came and did a final walk-through and gave me the invoice. It was really nice to know that it was done and that I could move forward with my project. I hope to not have a need for restoration but if I do I will go to them again. They have workers throughout Oregon and into Washington so I would definitely recommend them.

Long review/full story: We worked together with an engineering company to draw up plans to remove a 30 ft load bearing wall. From start to finish, it was a roughly 4 month process (because of COVID) and Josh worked tirelessly from the planning process to a finished project. He does his own work and takes pride in the work that he does. He was very upfront and honest about any issues we were going to face during construction, and we worked together to find amenable solutions. Oftentimes, there are hiccups, delays, and unforeseen problems when dealing with construction and it's the contractor's job to communicate what's going on to the client and Josh is superb in this aspect.
