Ordering was super easy using a QR code outside. Our order came out within minutes. We grabbed a picnic table and enjoyed our delicious sandwiches. Hubby and I both ordered the Italian Sub. He chose the sweet & spicy peppers and I went with banana peppers. I really enjoyed my sandwich. The bread was amazing! Crusty on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The banana peppers were a wonderful addition. The oil & vinegar along with the mayo added so much flavor. The lettuce was very fresh. Excellent meat and cheese to bread ratio. I was pleasantly surprised by how a simple sandwich could be so delicious!

I ordered the Italian sandwich online and it was ready for me before the 10 minute estimated time. I walked from there to my destination, a couple of blocks away and opened my order. The bread was so hard and dry that it literally crumbled into dust (I'm not exaggerating I wish I was) so I walked back to the restaurant and politely showed them. They were very polite and remade the sandwich. The bread was better but still a little dry so I tried to eat it but quickly found that they had put the hot peppers on the sandwich instead of the banana peppers I had ordered so I couldn't eat it, I can't tolerate very spicy food due to stomach issues. Oh well. It's disappointing because Neil's used to be really exceptional but I don't have money to throw away on food I can't eat. It was supposed to be a treat but I had to throw it away.

"Great deli-style sandwiches, from rather hidden location on Chapel Hill Rd"…read more Came by here on a Saturday. This place is REALLY hard to find... it's behind the State Farm building, but there's barely any signage from the street. (Note: some photos here in Yelp seem to be from an older location.) We actually came one Saturday, but it was unexpectedly closed, but we caught them the following one, so good to call and confirm before driving over. You walk up to a door on the back, and scan a QR code to see the menu. Then knock on/ open the door and someone will come to take your order. Then you wait outside and they bring you your sandwiches. The lady who took our order was very friendly. The kitchen was rather large, so I suspect it's used for more than just this business. We ordered two turkey subs-- the East New York (which was slightly spicy) and the Dumbo. Wait time was maybe 7-10 minutes or so. Both sandwiches came nicely wrapped, and I think total cost was a little over $20. And conveniently, they take Apple Pay. These were not your Subway or Quiznos sandwiches-- these were DELICIOUS pressed sandwiches (we got them on focaccia. I personally liked the Dumbo the best-- it had a nice mix of flavors that meshed well. The East New York was solid and had a nice spiciness, but not quite as exciting overall. Would I come back? Probably, but since there's no seating, and it's a bit awkward, maybe not the first place I'd think to try, but again, the sandwiches were REALLY good. I do think it may be excellent for catering or for getting picnic sandwiches though.

First of all, the bread is soft and has a nice bite, holds the juices of a sandwich well and was fresh. I got the Cobble Hill sandwich and the turkey was really good. Also the size is amazing for the price. When you get there, it feels like you're in the wrong place or entering in the wrong way, but you're not. I asked if this was the sandwich spot and a young man took my order and made my sandwich within 5 min. And there is enough parking behind the State Farm building to pull up and get your sandwich I can't wait to go back and try the Italian and cheesesteak sandwiches.

I ordered mine on pressed focaccia bread and everything from the juicy crispy chicken to the parmesan cheese and toppings was top notch. Each of the flavors and textures played so well together that it's hard to stop eating after taking the first bite. Came on a Monday around 1pm and there was no line. Inside the shop was a classic deli where you order at the counter and then browse the various goods/merch while you wait. Service was fast and the sandwiches came out within 5 minutes of ordering. There are a couple picnic tables outside to sit and eat but other than that, mostly a to-go place. First timers: get the Uncle Primo's, you won't regret it!

I got half an uncle primos chicken cutlet sandwich ($11). It was a lot of food and was loaded with chicken! Even just the half sandwich was too much for me to eat at once. While it was tasty, I did feel like it was missing something, and personally didn't find it to be worth the wait. But if the line were shorter in the future I'd come back and try other yummies from the menu.

It's so heartwarming to see ALL LOCAL vendors at this location considering the development going on in and around Franklin St with multiple chain restaurants and stores coming up every other week. I was there on the opening weekend so this place wasn't completely functional yet. But I still had a chance to look around and taste some food too. I had a gluten-free cannoli from pizzelle bakery (everything here is GF) and it was awesome! The other vendors include: *Soul Cocina *Vegan Flava Cafe *Common Bar Area * Pizzelle Bakery * Rumi Persian Cafe * Left Bank Butchery * Chocolatey Confections There's a great outdoor seating area too. Can't wait to check this place out when it's fully operational.

"Sandwich shop just off University Dr in Durham"…read more Came here for an evening dinner with a friend. We arrived around 5:45pm, and there was ample parking, but I will say the place was HOPPING by the time we left at 6:30pm. The decor is very cute-- old-style, good seating and a bar area as well. You order at the table, and food comes to you. My dining mate got the Cypriot (Halloumi, Fig, Arugula, Tomato, Pesto) with a side of curly fries, and I wasn't very hungry so I got the Beyond Meat Chicken Tenders kids meal with a side salad. I also got a delicious bottled sparkling lemonade. Service was fine-- food comes after order, but you're mostly on your own once food is delivered, as expected. We got a couple of napkins with the food, but there are more self-serve up in the counter. Just don't expect someone to check on you or anything. The food was GREAT. My dining partner loved her sandwich (commented especially on the fig spread) and fries, and I really liked my meal as well. The side salad was surprisingly delicious, especially the addition of pickled red onion. The place was clean-- I went to the restroom, too, and everything was stocked well. Price was very fair. Overall, I'd happily come back. Easy, priced well, delicious. Not a place where you get a lot of "attention", but great for a simple meal.

Options for vegan diets that's still keeps essence of original sandwich which I appreciated (impossible chicken tenders for cutlets). Great space! Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. I discovered the garden this time around and enjoyed sitting out there for my meal. Came on a Saturday afternoon and it was not very busy. Ordered the mozzarella sticks and the chicken cutlet sandwich (regular). The sticks were amazing with the sauce! The SS which bread was so fresh and soft as was the chicken cutlet. I wish it had more sauce and a little salt pepper vinegar splash would have gone a long way. A good sandwich but the most amazing or most flavorful sandwich I've ever had. Can't stress how fresh everything tasted though and it was huge only ate half.
