Do NOT use Alpine Glass for any installation of shower doors. 6 months ago we paid $3,000 for custom shower doors only to replace them and the entire shower due to water leaks of the sub floor. Improper installation of the shower door cost us $10,000 to tear out the entire shower and reinstall a new shower pan and doors. Calls to Alpine Glass have gone unanswered. I had three different glass installers come out to my home for an estimate to install an online ordered glass shower door, and all three said, "Sorry, We can not install your glass shower door", "Your walls are 3/4 off, not plumb and this is a fixed frame door , and it wont fit", "It will just crack the glass tile" then I called Alpine Glass they came out and said "We can absolutely install that without any problems, these are made to adjust for wall variations". Sure enough they came out, 2 hours later my glass shower door was installed, and absolutely no cracks in any of my glass tiles. I'm sorry this review is long overdue 08/19, but I just wanted to say "Thank you for your expertise in your field !", 5 months later not one crack in any of the 2x4 glass tiles. I highly advise that you do NOT work with this company. We hired Alpine Glass to install glass doors in our house. Unfortunately, as the installation process began, I was anything but impressed. Their crew arrived 4-5 hours later than they originally stated they would arrive, without notice. Due to the fact that my wife and I don't work from home, this delay was extremely impactful. Instead of arriving between 8am-9am as they originally planned, they didn't show up until ~1pm. My wife had an extremely important meeting downtown later that afternoon, and due to their delay, their new arrival time conflicted with her meeting. That said, I had to drive ~1.5 from work to get back to the house so someone would be home while they install. Unfortunately, the installation was anything but smooth. They drilled into the wrong areas in my hardwood floors, causing us to have to replace the wood floors in the area they were working in. This costed us to take more time away from work so we could arrange someone else to come in to fix the floors. Additionally, when the doors were finally installed, my wife mentioned to the crew that the handles were very crooked. They dismissed her concern and told her the handles were fine. Once I got home, I agreed that the handles were crooked, and confirmed with a level that they were VERY out of line. I also noticed that the black hardware at the top of the door was also extremely crooked. We called the glass company, and they agreed to come back and fix the work that was not level, which costed us yet ANOTHER day from work. Lastly, they left black handprints all over our white walls, which was ultimately disappointing given all the other events that occurred.
