I paid for them to send a tech to diagnose it and they followed through with the work which is under the 10-year warranty. Tech, Hagen was very nice and professional and made sure to answer all of my questions. Kudos to the office staff, Brittny, Erin and everyone who took my calls while I was eagerly waiting for parts & repair. They treated me very kindly and proactively communicated each step of the way. I hope that this fix lasts a long time, or at least until we upgrade to a newer, more environmentally friendly unit.

I talked to my neighbors to hear what their experience was and CM Heating name was brought up a couple times as a stand out company. The sales person Amber was very professional and gave us a ton of information. She was instantly responsive when I had questions. We got 3 bids for this job. I took all the information and used AI to compare the mountain of info to get its take in the bids. Cm Heating consistently had the edge over the others. The main reason was the warranty. If you are spending a fair amount of money, you need a good warranty. All said and done CM Heating was the winner Getting an install date was a breeze. All the detail work was handled by them. The office sent me the permits to print and post. Install Day I was notified of the time they would arrive and the guys were right on time Tim and Melvin sized up the job and jumped in at full speed. Melvin worked on the furnace Tim on the Heat Pump. These guys never stopped the entire time except when my wife brought them some home made chocolate chip cookies. I was very impressed with their performance. We had questions along the way and they provided answers immediately. Great trustworthy people. By the time they were done all the areas were spotless. I got acquainted with All Phase Heating this year when my furnace went out. This happened last…read moreyear at this time as well, and I called a different large, well-known company. With this larger company, I spent 15 to 20 minutes enduring up-sales from the technician once the furnace was up and running. Then For several days I endured phone calls from their office doing the same. I finally agreed to a "free" home inspection to "improve my energy consumption" (which didn't seem to be particularly high). The final quote and hard sale carried a $2000 price tag. This tactic always puts me off so this year I tried All Phase and----wow----what a difference. Joe came out within 30 minutes of my call and found and fixed the problem quickly. He spent HIS time showing me the cause of the problem, explaining what he'd do to fix it and giving me maintenance recommendations. He also directed me to Lowes for filter replacements saying they would be cheaper than going through a furnace company. He did advise I sign up for routine maintenance every year as that would also cut the repair costs. I so appreciated his time and information, nobody told me these things last year during all the up-sale. On top of that All Phase has great service for a better cost than the well-known, hard-sell company. To cut through the chase, they were super unresponsive after the initial visit. I have sent multiple emails to the service person and through the office person. She repeatedly said she would forward them to the person who does the quotes. This has been a super frustrating experience dealing with them. Totally unresponsive, unprofessional, and enough to convince me to stay away from them. This should have been a easy sale for them for a new replacement furnace - $7000 or so but forget them. Look else where as I did and save yourself a lot of frustration. Lots of other good HAVC companies out there and most very competitive.

This has happened more than once over the last few years. They were in contact with me alot when I was buying the system and when they wanted the second half of the payment after the install. But since then they don't seem to care. So I don't recommend that you use this company if you want any after install service. I love the new system but I wish I would have used a different company to buy it. Update: I had a different company come and service my AC. Come to find out there was a really slow leak ever since the installation. A small valve was bad and bent at the top. When the original installation was done they told me there was a small amount of freon missing on the first check up and they would see where it was on the next service. But I have not been able to reach them since. It cost me 450 dollars with a different company to fix it. It should have been a warranty situation but Nordic was not nice enough to return my calls. They were referred to me by Fisher Construction Group so I thought I was making a good choice. But my choice has been a major disappointment!

A tech came out but could not fix the heating system - he was not sure what was wrong. My impression was that Barron should be able to repair a system they installed! Long story short - called a different company - they came out - diagnosed a bad heat pump and had the system up and running in 2 days!! Not happy about this kind of service.
