Friday at 730 in the morning they were loudly tearing down the fence. Now they are unavailable for the weekend and patio is just open. Used Alpine Tree Service for the last few years to top and maintain a row of 15 Italian Cypress that border our pool and provide great privacy from neighboring yard. Competitive pricing, always on time as scheduled, work done as promised with healthy trees, but the real bonus is the happy crew. They clearly like each other and their work. Our trees are within 2 feet of our pool making trimming difficult at best since neighbor won't let them work from his side. No problem they say and there's not. Alpine uses noisy and smoke-spewing gas blowers, instead of the quieter electric ones. It causes a huge amount of noise and pollution around where-ever they do work. For how much they cost, they can certainly afford to upgrade their equipment to battery-powered electric blowers. Go somewhere else if you care about your health, and being able to breathe! read more

They are a nightmare if you know anything about landscaping and how to care for landscaping! They are just in it for the paycheck. Alpine provides the landscape services for our development in Morgan Hill, and they do a great job. But, it is so much more than just that. Greg, the lead for our area that I work with directly when issues arise, is a wealth of knowledge. All their employees are super nice and knowledgeable, and it shows that they care about the plants and trees in our area. They even came out on a holiday weekend to repair a broken irrigation line in our yard. Even more impressive, Greg came out and looked at a few trees in my backyard that I was concerned about (they were showing severe signs of stress) and helped me figure out what was going on. My wife and I moved into Eagle Ridge Golf Community in Gilroy in mid-May. It's a beautiful community with amazing landscaping and trees! The HOA contracted with Alpine Landscapes earlier this year due to major issues with the prior company. The improvement we have seen since Alpine's crews hit the ground is HUGE. The Alpine crews are extremely friendly and they're clearly working very hard. Alpine's Ford trucks are always clean and we see them on property 6 days/wk. The areas that had been neglected by the prior company for a couple years have now been cleaned up by Alpine. The common areas along Club Drive and near the Club House have really been transformed. Alpine has also done a wonderful job with major tree trimming for human and fire safety as well as for health of the trees. They showed such great care when working with the larger, well-established trees that their expertise was obvious. And, the fact the Alpine Landscapes is a Gilroy-based firm hiring local employees is great for everyone! We have been using Alpine Landscapes for the past two years at our dealership and have been nothing but satisfied with Ryan and his team. We use them for all of our landscaping needs including design, maintenance, repairs and tree care. When they first took over our account we had outdated irrigation, and old design, and quite a bit of dead landscape. Now we have less wasted water with a new drip system and a beautiful looking lot. Eagle Ridge is starting to look better than it has for YEARS. when we first moved to Eagle Ridge (17 years ago) the community landscaping was beautiful, but no thanks to the grounds keepers prior to contracting with Alpine, Eagle Ridge quickly went downhill in the way the landscaping looked. I had a chance recently to work with Scott M. the arborist and his team lately on my tall oak tree in the backyard. They have done an excellent job - best tree service company you can ever find in the Bay Area. They showed up on time at 7:30am on Friday, did the pruning very professionally - nice, clean and quiet, and kept everything in order. It was like it never happened. My tree that looked messy, dense and overgrown got a nice new haircut after their service. It looks round less dense and well shaped. Scott has been my arborist for years and he is the best arborist - very kind, trustworthy and professional. Moreover their fee is very affordable, unlike other companies who try to charge you thousands of dollars. I am very happy with the results and want to express my special appreciation to Scott, the owner of the company and his team as a highly valued customer working with the best tree service team. Terrible landscape company to work with. Was hired by our HOA to manage front yards in Hollister. Company did not hold up to their contract to actually maintain yards. And on the rare occasion that they actually showed up to service your yard, 9 times out of 10 they would butcher your plants. The only thing they are proficient at is taking your money!!! read more

These guys do a terrible job @ madrone plaza in Mo hi every week. Embarrassing work, too lazy to empty the grass clippings from the mower when full, instead let's all the clippings go everywhere and does a terrible Job then trying to clean it up instead of doing things right the first time. Out lawns, flowerbeds, walkways, tambark, you name it is covered in clumps of dry brown grass. Even forgot to cut a strip of grass and left the property with a Mohawk going down Jarvis smh, had to call them to tell them to come back and finish the job. If they did their foreman's home like this, he would fire them. Not to mention the butcher Job on trees and sprinklers that go wild @ night. You have been warned. read more
