Amazing! 110%!! I'm looking for a local garage to service my 2012 in place of the dealer. I found great reviews for Al's and thought I would check them out. I had a broken wiper from the recent snow storm plus a list of items from the dealer. OMG! The manager took 1 look at my broken wiper and said I can take care of that plus look at your list from the dealer. Great! He had the part available and put it on and charged me ZERO! I was thrilled as it was closing time on a Friday and Al's took care of me. I look forward to taking my car there from now on. We've used Al's twice now for my husband's 2015 Lexus GS. The first time, they replaced his front brakes, and the second time, they did his 80,000 mile oil change and system check. The brake repair was tricky because my husband couldn't find his wheel lock. Luckily, someone working in the shop had a similar lock, and was able to use theirs to unlock the wheel. We asked them to replace the locked lug with a regular lug to avoid that issue in the future. We felt they went above and beyond for us on this service. For the 80,000 mile service, they only needed to do an oil change, as all other systems were ok. Their prices are very reasonable, and they won't do any service that is unnecessary. It's a bummer that they could not replace the brakes on my 2018 BMW X3 M40, since they told me they didn't service BMWs. We'll definitely keep returning for my husband's Lexus, however! read more

I just found my new best friend!!! Dropped off my 2012 Civic for a 2nd opinion after I was told by another shop in the area that there were some issues with my tie rods and suspension control arm and a small issue with my vvt solenoid having a little seepage around the gasket. I called Al this morning and he was able to fit me in right away. He got back to me a while later and explained everything and said that the items I had listed looked fine and recommended that nothing be done right now and we would keep an eye on things going forward. He totally put me at ease as car repairs can be a little stressful and expensive. I will be taking my Honda to only Al's from now on for anything and everything. I cannot recommend his shop highly enough. I wish there were more than 5 stars I could give!! read more

I am not into having the latest and greatest of cars. In fact, I love my 2007 CLC (Cute Little Car) with only 77,000 miles. I discovered one day that it was taking a lot of energy to turn the steering wheel. Being a Sassy Senior or Queenager as the role requires, it was actually taking all my energy just to turn that steering wheel. I have a friend named Al. That friend told me about Al's. So, I rolled to Al's Auto Repair. I was told that my Honda CRV needed to spend a day or two, as it needed a power steering pump. I was given the call to come and get little CLC. SHE'S WORKING AND ROLLING!! Now, let me tell you about the people. They are THE BEST! I could have easily been taking advantage because of my age. I wasn't born yesterday and have learned a few things over my years. And I can tell honest and good souls by spending a little time. I can't single one person, as all the employees made me feel like family. I am a very wordy person. I could keep typing and raving about Al's Auto Repair. My van was leaking gas when I filled the tank, so I needed them to troubleshoot the filler assembly, fuel line and gas tank to find the leak and repair it. They did nothing but claim to have disassembled and reassembled it for almost $100. The guy even argued with me over the phone that the tipm had nothing to do with providing power to the fuel pump. When I arrived at the shop, the guy there admitted that he didn't even know what a tipm is. It is the Totally Integrated Power Module fuse box under the hood on Dodge vehicles, which provides power through the fuse box to almost everything on a Dodge vehicle. Ignorant, argumentative, dishonest and incompetent - everything that I don't want in people with whom I am doing business. Negative 5 stars read more

Seamless! I went to Al's on a Friday to ask about my engine light/inspection and get an oil change. He put me on his calendar to drop off the following Friday. I dropped off at 7:30am. By 10:30 I was emailed a quote and received a call within seconds to discuss the quote. So everything went great and I left the conversation with much understanding and was even told I was taking great care of my 2017 122K mile car. The engine light was fixed, oil was changed and I just have to wait a week or two to get my car inspected. (Ensure light does not come back on). Al and Mark were amazing, very friendly and super knowledgeable. He saw my USMC tag on my car and asked if I was military. Gave me the discount without my asking! When I went to pick up my car- I was given a coin that said "Thank you for your Service". I will post a pic later. Very nice, thoughtful and made my heart happy. I had a very good experience with Al's Auto Repair. We had to get the timing belt replaced on our Honda Odyssey and Al ended up being $200+ less than the dealership. I received four other quotes and he was the cheapest. The best quality is the transparency, honesty, and personability. Al was pleasant to talk to on the phone and in person, and he earned my trust that we would not be overcharged for the work. When I have several hundred dollars worth of work on a vehicle, I want to see what is replaced. When I picked the van up, a member of Al's staff showed me the old parts and demonstrated why they were worn and needed to be replaced. I cant say that I look forward to spending money on future auto repairs, but I can say that I have a reliable mechanic in the neighborhood. read more

Al is amazing!! I was told by a local oil change place that my serpentine belt needed to be changed and that my back brakes were "almost gone". I called a few chain stores before I found Al's number. Immediately, I could tell he wasn't like the other mechanics out there. He had a genuine concern for my well being and the safety of my car. Not only did he find out that the back brakes weren't "gone", but that they had 5,000 more miles to go!! Any one else would have just taken my money and ran out the door, but not Al!!
