I used these guys once, and will never be back. I needed them to troubleshoot a sound on my Subaru…read more I thought I had a bad CV axel (common issue with Subaru's) but instead it appeared to be a heat shield on the wheel that was rubbing. Fair enough, easy fix. Instead, they chopped it off on the passenger side. About a day later, the noise was back. I crawled under the car and could see the drivers side was doing the same. I took a screwdriver and bent the shield out of the way and noise never returned. I'm just baffled that they didn't know how to fix the issue easily or without a less destructive way. Tells me they didn't test drive it or really diagnose the issue to begin with.

Hands down recommendations was this place Anglers Auto Service. I have to say, "No long waits here." They are friendly and helpful and they go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy. There's free coffee, magazines, and tv to occupy your attentions during your short wait. I especially enjoyed my visit with Zack the front counter manager. He knows his stuff and he'll get you what your car needs. I have to say I was in and out in about 35 mins and that's because I was having them do a full maintenance check and tire rotation. Please make your way to Angler's Auto Services without hesitation for Maintenance and or repair.

I'm very disappointed in the work done on my vanagon. First of all, the mechanic (don't know his…read morename) told us the engine rebuild would be done in a month. The van was finally done after 4 months, and it was clear that it wasn't being worked on efficiently. It was super disappointing because we were planning on taking it on our honeymoon which we weren't able to do. And now, lo and behold, it's still not up and running. Mechanic decided not to fix the starter, so we're stuck with more work to be done on the engine. Another thing is the shop doesn't have a receptionist, so you have to call a couple times to reach the mechanic who will be annoyed you're calling since he had to stop working to answer the phone. He doesn't call with updates either. He also charged us 1000 over the agreed upon price. I'm sure pandemic times have made waiting on parts a more lengthy process, but the fact that we had no idea what was going on and had to call sometimes 8 times to reach someone is completely unprofessional. My advice is to go somewhere else for foreign car work.

I called the shop to confirm this was safe to drive through and they said yes, they just had another car drive through. I got half way to the shop through the ally and got stuck. The 2 guys came and shoveled a couple of scoops of snow and then walked off. I was stuck for over an hour I had to call other people to help push and dig me out of the deep snow. I called them to inform them that "I was able to get out, not that they cared".....and shared a few other choice words with them. And all they did was hang up on me. Take your car somewhere else!
