Great old fashion playground & garden - the "OJ corral"
Christian D.

A fun local establishment that brings you back in time when the Indian river citrus industry was thriving! Visit the OJ Corral enjoy natural exhibits & gardens plus old school games to enjoy with your family at all ages. They promote local farmers and other agriculture products. If you enjoy creamsickles try the Creamsicle ice cream soft serve or better also check out there orange creamsicle lotion it smells delicious and will keep any hands soft. hungry? Pop by the grill - Can't go wrong with a fresh Angus cheeseburger. Support local businesses especially when they go the extra mile to serve you!

We stopped here for an early lunch while driving from Vero Beach to West Palm Beach after doing a quick Yelp search for a local spot not far off the highway. Al's is an adorable roadside stop that serves traditional breakfast and lunch and also a pretty good selection of Spanish food. Seating is entirely outdoors with some tables under cover. This is a great spot to stop if you are driving with restless children, they have a cute outdoor play area where your kids can get some energy out. The BLT wrap I ordered was basic but good. Great size for the price and was freshly made. The fresh orange juice was great and the sweet tea was worth a refill before hitting the road again.

Excellent food! Great and friendly service. We were passing by and pulled in. We decided to try a small lunch as the place was packed with a long line. I see why now. Fantastic, fresh, and delicious. The price was low for what all we got with our lunch specials.

This is a cute little country style establishment. They have a different menu in the afternoon. We stopped here to get one of their orange shakes and while we were waiting I went around taking pictures of their fresh fruit and freshly squeezed oranges. While they don't make their own ice cream, they do get homemade ice cream outsourced.

Wet Burrito Plate

I stopped in and got a wet steak burrito it was great the Mexican rice was right on the burrito and refried beans was a little dry because it was wormed up in a microwave other than that it was a great meal. I only gave it 3 stars because it was to dry. I defiantly will be back this place is approved by my stomach.

Do you remember roadside stands well uncle Al's is a place for it they have the best Creamsicle cups in the world

Family oriented business like the old days remember when you could dying on the side of US one with your picnic basket well that's a good description for Al's

Al's Sunshine Shake

Delicious breakfast & lunch but they are only open 8am-2:30pm Monday-Saturday & closed Sunday. My husband always orders the Breakfast burrito which seems to be their most popular item, the home fries served with breakfast are excellent & the orange juice is outstanding, just a little pricey. Around $6 for 1/2 gallon. I just recently had their Sunshine Shake for the first time & I crave it almost everyday now, it's absolutely DELICIOUS! It was around $6-$7 for what I'd consider a medium size (their only size) but I will definitely buy it again because it's worth every cent. I called in my order twice this year before picking it up & both times it was wrong, maybe they were super busy those days because it can get busy there with their short hours, but I checked the order before going home & they fixed it fast so it's ok. The staff seems a little young & overwhelmed. The gift shop offers citrus tours, local honey, hard scoop ice cream, free OJ samples & a cute little spot for kids to play. Whenever I have guests from out of town visiting, they all want Al's Redbarn for breakfast :)

I ordered the "my pregnant wife's" and my husband had the "black and bleu". Both were super delicious. Loved those crispy edges!!! Drafts were good too. The place has a really nice vibe. Service was outstanding throughout. From the 4 different servers that stopped by to make sure everything was good to the super friendly bartender. Thanks for a delicious indulgent dinner! We will definitely be back!!!

Worth growing a beard for…read more Bearded Brothers Taphouse & Eatery has officially earned a spot on our "we'll definitely be back" list. Our group of four started with what they do best: craft beer. With around 20 beers on tap, there was no shortage of choices, and they even offer complimentary tastes if you're on the fence. The Summer Shandy was crisp and refreshing, while the Toasted Lager was smooth, flavorful, and dangerously easy to drink. We sampled more than a few (ahem)... purely in the interest of scientific research, of course. Fortunately, there are still plenty left to try, so another visit is clearly required. The food was every bit as impressive. The Brussels sprouts with balsamic glaze and shaved Parmesan were outstanding. Even people who normally pass on Brussels sprouts would have a hard time leaving these alone. Personally, I like them a little crispier, but these were great. The Black & Bleu double smashburger was absolutely dynamite. Two perfectly seared patties, plenty of blue cheese, crispy bacon, and cooked exactly the way a great smashburger should be. My own bearded brother ordered the shrimp po' boy, and it was packed with large, perfectly cooked shrimp. We grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, just a stone's throw from New Orleans, where shrimp po' boys are practically a religion. This one passes the test. The bread was right, the shrimp were plentiful, and every bite reminded us of home. The flounder fish and chips deserves its own mention. The fish was flaky and moist, and the breading actually stayed attached to the fish instead of sliding off with the first bite, which anyone who appreciates good fried seafood knows is the mark of a properly prepared fillet. Crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Great beer selection. Excellent food. Friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere. If you're anywhere near Fort Pierce and enjoy quality craft beer paired with food that easily exceeds typical pub fare, Bearded Brothers should be on your list. We'll be back... partly to work our way through the remaining taps, and partly because we're still thinking about that shrimp po' boy. Highly recommended.

Small seafood restaurant with a big crowd inside and out…read more And it is no wonder. The food, service, and comfortable tables speak for themselves. For starters, the calamari was perfectly crispy and fresh. Sauce ok, but the calamari was good all by itself. I highly recommend the butterflied snapper with steamed veggies. Delicious! The veggie pasta plate was huge and the pasta cooked to perfection. The shrimp scampi pasta was sooo good. The linguini was perfectly al dente and the shrimp big and plump and yummy. Oh! And let's not forget the mile high key lime pie. Even if you don't care for key lime pie you will absolutely love this one. It's more like a key lime ice cream but better. Servers were fantastic despite the busyness of the place they never neglected to check on us. Great place. Highly recommend.

I've been here a few times, and for whatever reason, every time we put the address into our…read morenavigation system, it takes us somewhere other than the restaurant. It can be pretty frustrating, especially if you're visiting for the first time and end up driving around in circles trying to find it. Once you arrive, though, it's worth the effort. The restaurant is located right on the water next to the boat ramp and has an enormous amount of parking. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, along with a full bar area. The outdoor seating is especially nice since it's completely covered on the deck but with all of the bushes and plant surrounding the deck, you're not really getting much of a view. This visit, we opted to sit at the bar and were lucky enough to snag three seats together. Our bartender was awesome and did a fantastic job throughout the meal. They don't serve liquor here, only beer and wine, so I ordered a rosé. The bartender recommended a cute little $16 bottle that came in its own mini bucket. It was adorable and paired perfectly with my meal. For my entrée, I ordered the Ahi tuna with broccoli and a side salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband, however, definitely won the meal competition with the shrimp stuffed with crab meat and mashed potatoes. I stole a bite, and wow--it was incredible. The flavor and texture were outstanding, and I'll absolutely be ordering that next time. One of the funniest parts of the visit was the bartender's T-shirt featuring Anthony Bourdain flipping you off on the back. They were selling them, and I couldn't resist buying one. I'm pretty excited to wear it. Overall, we always enjoy coming here. Great waterfront atmosphere, good food, friendly service, and plenty of parking make it a place we'll continue to visit.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more For the classic late night worker or 3rd shifter back in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, Denny's was a quintissential locale for places to dine during the night owl hours. Along with Waffle House, Steak n' Shake, and certain Ihops, Denny's kept those who chose to stay awake while many others slept, well fed. Unfortunately, Denny's time has gone a bit to the wayside, and as a whole, find it troublesome to keep up with the up-and-coming kinds of restaurants that attract both old and younger crowds. For this Denny's, however, it seems the stars align in their favor. Not only does their staff, both waiting and cooks, do their job well thus making a visit pleasurable in service and flavor of food, it is located in a truck stop near busy crossroads of major roadways in Florida (I-95, Florida Turnpike, south of SR-60 and Yeehaw Junction). Ergo, this Denny's is busy, which might also equate to the better service and food, which I haven't seen in general in years at a Denny's. Even though an address is given, this Denny's is located on the westside of the Orange Ave. exit of I-95 in the Flying J's truck stop gas station. As of this review, I've eaten at this Denny's twice, and both times have been fantastic. Since this Denny's is in, as mentioned earlier, a truck stop gas station, there is ample parking. The Denny's itself is on the southside of the building. Upon entering, there are some relics of the past as a line of crane machines line the wall. My waitress both times, Melissa, has been fantastic in keeping up with my order despite one visit being minimal in patrons and the other being quite busy. Aesthetically-speaking, it is a Denny's, but there is some local charm such as the "You Are Here" map art ablazoned across the north wall. And I did not take a picture, but there was also some decor utilizing vehicle tags, too. The two times I came here, the Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice collaboration special was happening. I ordered two separate meals from that menu. The first a grilled cheese sandwich with mozerella cheese sticks in the middle. The second was specialty small pancackes with icing and toppings reminiscent of Beetlejuice colors. The grilled cheese was good but suffered the blend of cheese on top of cheese with no real flavor difference. Still filling, though. The pancakes were fantastic and makes me consider ordering more "dessert" pancackes in the future. The typical sidelore of food, such as bacon, eggs, toast, and sausages were cooked well, too. I am happy to say such as I've been to many breakfast places that get the basics wrong. The price is a-okay and understandable for what you get. However, they do have a menu for the budget-friendly as they've finally brought back the value menu ($2, $4, $6, and $8). I got some small things from the menu and they are good for the price you pay. On a sidenote: restrooms are located across the restaurant and are techncally more part of te restaruant. They were good in cleanliness, which is techincally a good thing for a gas station. Ultimately, I would eat here again if I ever pass by. Is it a first choice? Probably not, but this Denny's is a solid choice if i am every in the area and want to find simple breakfast food without having to go too far from I-95 or the Turnpike,,
