Located within the confines of the Road Runner RV Resort, so it was just a stones throw from our campsite which was extremely convenient, to put things in perspective for those that may question eating out while camping - well camping is all about rest and relaxation, and cooking at the campsite is also part of the total experience but it's nice to throw in a few meals that don't require much effort as well. We only ate here once during our recent stay at the campground and I originally thought that one meal would of been breakfast but it ended up being dinner and what a treat it was. The staff here at the restaurant as with all the staff on the property was extremely friendly and provide exceptional service. This interior dining area is relatively small but cozy, there's nothing fancy here but it's rustically comfortable, I like simple, especially when they are serving up home made entrées and desserts. A lot of people around the campsite had commented on the reasonable prices and that's important, but I want good food and food compliments are subjective (unless they are from Yelpers of course lol) - our server was very friendly and extremely accommodating I regret not getting her name (she's the cute tiny one). The Food: (some may consider me a picky eater but really I just want things the way I want them and I expect to pay for it especially if I request exceptions or things a certain way and of course I reward the efforts generously, our server was great with making recommendations and commenting honestly on things when asked). Vegetable Beef Soup - I love this soup when it done right, lots of ground beef and a rich broth, this was probably less hardy my way since I requested easy on the vegetables which was delivered exactly to my liking. Liver and Onions - I love this dish when properly executed, this place knows how to prepare this, so much so I'd repeat the experience. Tender pan fried beef liver with crispy onions served with real mashed potatoes and a delicious brown gravy (on the side of course) mmmmmm. Chicken Tenders & Fried Okra - Hand breaded and served hot from the fryer and seasoned slightly this was a solid selection - the okra was fried in cornmeal until it was crispy probably one of the better example I've experienced recently - some say this is an aquired taste, I say it's a southern delicacy that should at least be tried by all. Strawberry Cobbler - I was like huh? Maybe with the abundance of strawberries in Florida this is a regional dish I grew up in the south and cobblers are usually made with blueberries, blackberries or peaches so it was a little different but good especially with a pile of vanilla ice cream on the side. I like the place the food is reasonable. But today I experienced a raw hamburger which was horrible. Should've sent it back, but that's my fault, I didn't and the waitress was pretty rude to some of the gals I was with. No matter how hard of a day you have you don't bring it to work. Went to this establishment several months ago and got a chicken with eggs benedict and asked for the eggs medium. They arrive with the whites still runny and I aske the waitress to get them cooked more. She brought them back and they were inedible. So overcooked that you couldn't cut them with a fork. The waitress returned and said she overcooked them didn't she. Be aware there is no chef here, just a cook with an attitude. First and only visit here. This place is in a RV park but has really good food. And the servers are the best. You can eat outside or inside. Just make sure u check there schedule cause some days they are only open for breakfast and lunch. A really great place and some of the best homemade food. read more

This is a little gem of a place right by the FT Pierce Airport. It is in a mobil home/trailer "resort". The staff is extremely friendly and quick. The portions were large and the taste of everything we ordered was great. The cabbage/beef soup bowl was delicious as was the Greek salad. If you are in the area you should try this place. read more

Breakfast. Wow. I've never received such rude "service", if you can even call it that. One woman working - I think she was one of the owners. But she told me to sit down, she would be there, when I got up to get coffee from the counter. Then she brushed right past me and said "I TOLD U I WOULD BRING IT". Then she brings 2 cups of decaf over? Decaf? Where did she get that from? She had never even talked to us yet, so we hadnt told her what we wanted. Then she actually starts talking ABOUT us to other resort employees that walk in. We could hear her saying that we were all about "Me, me,me" . I'm not sure if she understands what industry she is in. The coffee cups were breaking apart, pieces falling off. The only redeeming quality was the omelet was delicious. Stumbled upon Charlenes on a business trip. Pulled into what was an RV park and knew we had found the perfect little diner. We were welcomed by the wait staff and residents enjoying their breakfast. Table was by the window looking out to a pond. Local residents were out for their morning strolls. It felt so comfy there. I ordered a half serving of biscuits and gravy along with a BLT. Biscuits and gravy were just like mommas. Half order was a perfect size. The BLT was the star of the show. Cooked to perfect and the perfect amount of BL&T. A cheap breakfast for under $10 bucks. Hard to find but worth the extra work. The boys and I fancy ourselves as "breakfast connoisseurs." We pride ourselves on our ability to find the best places for breakfast. I'm not sure how we heard about the Coyote Grille but we decided to send a scout team out for some reconnaissance. Even with the assistance of maps, two iPhones and a state-of-the-art Navigation system, we needed to roll down a window and ask a local if she knew where Charlene's Coyote Grille was. She pointed to a building 100' in front of us. "Right there" she said. Once again, technology was beaten by a 75 year old woman who could point. You won't confuse CCG with any national chain. But, it's homey, bright, clean as a whistle and friendlier then a golden retriever puppy. I always check out the bathroom and it was spotless. As good as you can find. It took only about 3 seconds to meet our new best friend, Melinda. She was our server. She is pretty, vivacious and friendly and we were all friends before the coffee was poured. We yelled our introductions to Charlene and she popped out to wave to us in between flipping some pancakes. Back to the coffee; although we like to eat, we spend a lot more time drinking coffee and CCG has very, very good coffee. We kept Melinda busy with refills. We never had to ask; she had the rare gift of "Coffee ESP". She was always there, pot in hand, when we needed some. We scanned the menu and ordered. I chose the veggie omelet and it was as good as any in the area. What I like about it is that Charlene grills the veggies before she adds them to the omelet. I've had more then one omelet where the veggies are added raw. Nope, Charlene can make an omelet. The boys sampled the blueberry pancakes and they were VERY happy with their choice. We stayed way too long and drank too much coffee. Charlene and Melinda, the boys will be coming back. read more

We visited recently on very busy Friday, this being about our 10th time here. All customers were greeted by the always friendly staff. I had buffalo chicken bites and my husband had the Key Largo sandwich. Both were fantastic and perfectly cooked. Their Wednesday and Saturday nights all you can eat shrimp, clams, fish or chicken is excellent!!! The food here is absolutely amazing! I met the owner and she's a absolute sweetheart, the food is amazing and has a home cooked family sort of taste to it. The server I think her name was amanda was absolutely wonderful! It was a great experience and i loved the fact even the cook came out to ask how we liked the food. The prices for the food were absolutely wonderful and they give you enough food to walk away stuffed and ready to start your day. I visited the restaurant later that evening cause the prices were right in my price range and the food in the evening was phenomenal!!! Wait staff very nice. Food was big disappointment tho. Baked chicken special? No spices, tasted like it was microwaved. A Walmart chicken wouldve been so much better.
