Great care, great people. Passionate staff. The dedication I see behind the scenes is very impressive.

If you're looking to detox, Ritz is where you want to be. I battled opiate addiction for 7 years, 5…read moreof those on fentanyl and honestly, I was terrified of going through withdrawal. It took a friend convincing me to get help and give Ritz a shot, and honestly, it was the best decision I ever made. The staff really knows what they're doing when it comes to this disease, and they helped me finally get off fentanyl for good. Ritz is clean, cozy, and has this chill vibe that makes it easy to settle in and focus on getting better. What I loved most was how the team treated me , they actually listened, kept it real, and showed real compassion because many of them had been through the same struggles. They didn't just throw a one size fits all plan at me, they made a plan that fit meIt felt like a safe space where I could be open and vulnerable without any judgment. I met people there I never thought I'd even hang out with, but some of them turned out to be the best folks I've met. We even went on weekend outings that showed me how to have fun without drugs. Oh, and huge shoutout to Steve, the chef, seriously, the best food I've ever had.

Not the best experience, I was targeted by certain staff members and treated poorly at times. while…read moresome staff members were exceptionally helpful and supportive(Danielle, nick, Laura, Johanna, and Chantelle as well as the chef). The overall company was trying to get the most money out of my insurance as possible. I started off in the sober living facility and during Christmas time, I had covid over winter and had to take NyQuil and that was the first excuse for forcing me back into a rehab program that was not needed. My reason for being in the program in the first place was that I had 18 back to back surgeries over the past 4 years and was on opioids for a long period of time so this was a way to detox in a safe environment. There was no psychological addiction, just physical dependence to opioids. They lied about multiple addictions to medication(amphetamine addiction) that I was prescribed since childhood and used it to get more money through insurance. They also lied about an alcohol addiction, when I am medically intolerant to alcohol. When I got back to the sober living after this time I was talked about poorly among staff members and called "attention seeking" for asking for a few days off in order to visit 2 dying family members. Eventually someone in the group had consumed alcohol and told the staff which upset another client due to the unfairness and favoritism. This upset client gave me alcohol without my knowledge or consent and afterwards told the staff that I was drunk. This other client had been upset and doing things like this for 2 weeks prior to this incident. I believe he did this in order to prove a point that they will send people they dislike or with good insurance back to rehab in order to get more money. This client later confessed to me he had put alcohol in my drink without my consent and I had a reaction to the alcohol and was placed back into the rehab facility. I was put on addictive barbiturates and unnecessary medications for 2 days before my insurance denied coverage due to fraudulent services. The alcohol level was so low that there was no logical reason I needed to be there. I was then abandoned as a patient had had to find a new place to live in 2 hours or I was out on the street. Remember it's just a business. They don't actually care about you. They left another 2 of my friends on their own where one eventually fell into a coma following her abandonment. Something else they did was contact my pharmacy and told them never to fill any of my prescriptions ever from any doctor. I was no longer under their care at all. I'm a disabled person and this made it very difficult to obtain medication that I needed. This is a HIPPA violation for sure.

The houses are very nice heard the groups are good but I felt like the other stuff should be spoken up on .

I paid 35k in cash for 2 weeks - it is so not worth it. It is so far from a luxury experience. It's a scam. I brought my own prescribed medication from home - they destroyed it without telling me and then put me on their own paltry regimen which has resulted in one week of literally no sleep. The food is terrible - overly salty and overly rich - not clean. Unhealthy. My bathroom sink literally has chunks of enamel peeling off. The bedding is uncomfortable. They say that there is a private chef but really the food just gets delivered meal by meal and it is usually cold and you have to heat it in the microwave. I took a yoga class today and the yoga teacher was vaping throughout the class. The curriculum involves xeroxed handouts and every instructor just has the clients take turns reading them. One of the sessions was watching a 20 year old video on HIV. This place is an absolute joke.

As a mother, my son has been in and out of treatment for several years . Not every rehab center is focused on recovery. That has not been the case at Ritz Recovery . Mike has been so responsive and kind from the start. He took an anxious mom and assured me that he would work with my family . He has offered my son the same type of compassion . The staff at Ritz Recovery works with clients and offers each and everyone an individual treatment plan. Ritz Recovery is nestled in Hollywood Hills with a beautiful view. The environment is very welcoming. Healing and recovery start with safety and security . I believe an individual has to heal from the inside out . The home offers a family unit . A huge shout out to the staff who always make me feel welcome. When a family member gets sick the family unit gets sick. As a family we are learning to heal together . I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is taking recovery seriously. Seeing the light in my child's eyes turn back on is all I want . Thank you Ritz Recovery for helping us .

What makes it truly special is that the owner, Gian, comes in every day to provide assistance in guiding each woman in the right direction. There are good vibes in this home and I've been able to bring all of my challenges however big or small, to the table to work out. They care here! I know that at the chateau my well being is not just my priority, but also a top priority for Gian and the lovely Marie! Each morning rides are provided to popular local meetings- and at night curfews are reasonable (11:30 on weekdays and 12:30 on weekends). This is the place to become healthy and strong again.
