The sessions can be a bit expensive, but her staff helps me submit a superbill for each session in an auto-generated PDF and I'm working to get reimbursements through my insurance since she gave the proper codes, etc. I would highly recommend this practice - pelvic floor issues are no joke and they have the best professionals you can find.

They tried to blame the transport company but that was a lie and proven as such. At discharge my husband, tagged gurney only, unable to move on his own, was lifted into a chair using a Hoyer lift, they said to take him to the medical transport van to bring him home. I was there when this happened and left so I'd be home when they arrived. I've learned since the gurney was supposed to have been moved. And they didn't take him to the transport van. He was left sitting in the chair for hours. They moved him into the rec room and simply left him there. In excruciating pain. He had multiple cancers and was coming home for Hospice. I called repeatedly asking where he was. Every time I was told he was on his way, over and over for hours. I was afraid to drive over there and not be home if he arrived. They kept saying he was in transit! I spoke to many different people. Later I learned he'd been calling out for me ... I was told that the following day by a social worker when the blame was still being put on the transport co. I had every intention of filing a law suit over this. I don't care about the money, they can't get away with this ever again. I haven't yet because he passed and I'm grieving. To be revisited. DO NOT BRING SOMEONE YOU LOVE HERE.

The nurses were very sweet, attentive, take their job serious. I felt as if it was their own loved one. The PT was top notch my mom was already standing up after almost not getting up in 3 months at the hospital. Everyone from admissions, case management, PT, OT, CNA, medicine nurses, nurses supervisors. I would recommend anyone who has a loved one needing a care Nursing Facility to Brentwood Healthcare. She loves her nurse, the food and she's very happy. When she did research on recovery places this one came the highest rated for her insurance. Nana keeps saying she's surprised at how quiet it is here. We are very happy with the people here and the care she's getting. They all deserve recognition. I believe these rehabs exploit the challenges of alcohol and drug addiction. However, there is hope, and it's free. I recommend reading the Big Book of AA and focusing on helping others! It was 5 months after discharge for all the insurance claims to be properly submitted (two claims needed to be resubmitted multiple times) and our refund processed. Paradigm did require an amount equal to our Annual Max Out of Pocket up front since the stay included January 1. The care our child received was good. We felt they were safe and well cared for. If the child is willing to do the work, the program can be helpful.

I finally got him accepted there, I know my son was a challenging case since he is very withdrawn, the therapist could not get to him, as I was told, he connected with the in house Psychiatrist and increased his meds and added two more medications, I did not allow one of the new meds asking to give him few weeks to respond the added dosage and the new meds, by informing them how he is extremely sensitive to meds and previously he responded very poorly and negatively to many medications, mean time not being told the person who prescribed this meds is not even a doctor and just a Psychiatric Nurse, If I knew, I would have never ever agreed for him being seen by a nurse let alone being prescribed 3 different medications, a nurse is not qualifies to prescribed extremely dangerous meds to an extremely sensitive patient, how dare playing with people's lives? when I asked them to pause on one meds out of three, they reported to insurance company that the parents are denying medications consequently the insurance company denied payments for his treatment after barely two months or less, and we were kicked out. That report caused us being denied so many other benefits by the insurance company, they prescribed deadly meds like a chocolate without any consideration of the a person's history. As many other places, people are just numbers to them, We are extremely disappointed, they just want to work with people who are easy and if not medicated like zombies' . We lost the better insurance we had, we lost time, and he went on drugs that had sever negative effects on him that after tempering him off months later we are still challenged with the side effects of it. By their suggestions we signed him up in the Riviera Housing they have, that is another bad story for another time.

One month in, clinical head suggested he go into the Key house as he would be better off receiving treatment outside of the house. After a month there, he had a suicide attempt. One day prior, his music teacher sent me and the other staff a note that something was off, he was super depressed and look awful. Sent this to ALL the staff, next day, phone call that our son is inpatient at UCLA after a suicide attempt. Now, things were not great at home, prior, but there was NEVER a suicide attempt. Later found out that he was getting together with one of the girls in treatment and was told THEY did not agree with the. THIS was happening under THEIR watch!!! Also, he came back severely nicotine addicted, where or where was he able to purchase this UNDER THEIR watch?? Only positive is three of the therapists, his individual, who did not work there full time and the family therapist, who also did not work there full time the person who ran the parent group, all else, and accounting included, who took money out of our account twice erroneously, not good. Would not recommend
