Hubby and I have been residents here since Sept '24, but the first place we moved into was a 3-floor townhouse with a garage. Granted, it was great and spacious, but since I have bad knees and hips, it was no longer convenient for me to walk up and down three floors every day. We were looking at other places when Sophia told us about a 2 BR/2 BT 1st floor apartment facing the lake... she saved us! We love our apartment! To have the view of the lake when you wake up in the morning just puts you in the right frame of mind. My dogs love it, too! Since there's a bush in front of the living room window, they are not bothered that much by the people passing by. I swear they barked more when we were in the townhouse. I also want to commend the maintenance team; their response time is very fast! When we have an issue, such as plumbing or whatnot, it's usually less than 24 hours between putting the request in and someone coming to check on the issue. Ivan is quick, and he is also very friendly to our dogs. He will let you know what the problem is right away. We find this community peaceful, despite having a major road (Congress Ave.) so close by. It feels hidden away from the busy street and is quite tranquil. We hope to stay here for many years to come. read more

I totally love living at IMT! The property is hidden gem. The employees are wonderful! The maintenance fixing things in a timely manner. Its very close to everything you need. I use my power wheelchair to get around my area. I can get to shopping areas in minutes. There's plenty of places to sit and enjoy the lake, watch the ducks, a lil fishing, 2 pools, and BBQ grill with picnic table ( literally I can walk from my apartment puts food on the grill and wait on my patio till it finishes, my patio is wheelchair friendly). Like a previous reviewer stated, I can't say enough about how great the folks at IMT have been to me. Apartment hunting is exhausting, and I needed to find a place close to my aging parents. Working with Kaitlin was a dream, she really went above and beyond to help us. I fell in love with the 2/2 with vaulted ceilings and a garage here, but I continued to look at others just to ensure I made the right the decision. Ultimately I came running back to IMT. Kaitlin made the experience so easy and really held my hand through all the steps and paperwork - she is wonderful and an amazing asset to this community! I've been here just under two weeks and so far, I love my new apartment and the community. Yes it is an older community, but IMT has done a great job updating and keeping the units up. Maintenance is fantastic as well, I had a couple minor move-in issues and they were here in a flash! One plus of it being an older community is that the landscaping is mature and lush - lots of trees, green plants, walking paths, wildlife to watch (ducks, geese, squirrels, iguanas and I even saw a raccoon) - and I have a sweet view of the lake from my patio (it feels like I am living in a tree house). One of the best parts is that my patio is on the 2nd floor and entirely screened in so I installed a cat door in the slider. My cats LOVE it and are constantly out on the patio. I also love that the community it is set back from all the craziness of the main road. It is so quiet and peaceful, yet you can walk to Renaissance Commons in 8 minutes. I haven't met too many of my neighbors yet, but seems to be a wide range/mix of people and everyone has been friendly so far. I will update if anything changes, but so far I am really happy here. read more

After 3 years renting at this community they make the payment of the lease very difficult.. yes I am getting evicted because I tried to on the day 15th of the month instead on the first 3 days. They only give you 3 days to pay the rent. They force you to be the full amount you can not split payments and God forbids your payroll does not coincide with the first 3 days of the payment date you are in trouble because now you have to pay all the adds on and late fees.. I have been paying a whole year an additional $ 180 more of my rent because I can never reach the first 3 days of rent ..I had always sent an email informing when my payment will be in ..and only after 3 years and in this July mo th when my lease is finishing whoch this mean they already have my deposit $$ for it I went to pay on the 15th and I was told we will not take the payment we already placed an eviction on you yesterday . They rarely care for you or your family they care about the money .. I will stro gly suggest to go and rent somewhere else. .they won't work out with you and they are always using the eviction as a tactic to intimidate you..... I was late thos month just like the other 8 or 9 months every month I was paid I always paid and on top of the rent iayment I also paid all the late fess and they still took me to court because I came to pay on the 15th instead of the 14th . All thanks to Tonya Montes .. I will really suggest to go rent somewhere else. This community is not the best ..they are charging me $ 2073 for a 1/1 apartment ... is insane .. they ate not flexible at all ... I will strongly recomm3dn to go somewhere else. read more

I rented from this complex for 6 months even though I signed a 2 yr lease and I already didn't want to stay for the 2 years. I wanted to get the heck out of this complex. This place is a harassment -neighbors call the office and the office calls you consistently for every little thing accusing of the lies that you did. Maintenance men watches you and goes to the office and reports you tattle tales. I'm so glad i left and went somewhere else cheaper the price to rent is high way robbery I got a house for $800 less than this place never again will I rent from this complex again. And they robbed you of ur deposit and rent money if you leave they find things that you didn't do and take your money so you don't get nothing back. I lived here for 2 years and was quite happy, moving out was the nightmare. Management and accounting practices are horrible, they refused to give me explanation of how payments were applied, or why their quoted final rent was different than what they charged me. Explanation of damages were repeatedly ignored. Final insult was when I was responding to most recent communications and told Tonya Montes that I did not have access to all my paperwork because my apartment was destroyed in hurricane Ian. She told me that I had been turned over to collections (without any prior discussion) and then signed off with "have a great day!" Incompetent and nasty........ read more

This complex is great. It seems as if it has recently been acquired by IMT and they have done a great job of upkeep and renovations. The maintenance crew is awesome. Kelly & Stacy at the front office are very accommodating, helpful, and knowledgeable in their field. They both provide exceptional service. TENANTS BEWARE!!! DO NOT RENT HERE! I was a tenant for almost 3 years. I got hit with rent increases in my first two lease renewals and when the third renewal came at 61 days I had had enough. I decided to move out. I gave 41 days notice, but that wasn't good enough. I was charged $1545 in liquidated damages at move out for failing to give 60 days notice. If you like fees and rent increases this is the place for you!! There are far better places to rent. Go anywhere else! Don't make the mistake I did. read more

We have lived here for a year now and I have never been so happy with a rental experience. IMT is a truly different company that actually cares about their residents' experience. The whole staff is fantastic but the maintenance staff especially stands out. Any time we have submitted a maintenance request, usually Peter, Ivan, or Israel is knocking at our door within a couple of hours to take care of it. I wish I knew all of their names to mention them all individually, but I've gotten to know Peter, Ivan, and Israel especially and they've been exceptionally friendly and helpful. They always have a smile and a wave when you see them out and about making sure the whole complex is in tip top shape. They don't believe in bandaid fixes here, when they come to fix something, it's done right. We were having issues with our hvac system and when the initial fixes weren't fully taking care of the problem, Peter and Stacy had our whole system replaced! We recently noticed that the vents were dirty and not only did Ivan and Israel come replace the vent covers and look at the vents, they let Peter and Stacy know what was going on and they are having our ductwork cleaned. Absolutely top tier. I have a background in property management and own a rental property myself and this company and staff sets themselves apart from everyone else. They take care of this place and the residents at the highest level and we really could not ask for a better place to live. read more

My boyfriend and I had a lot of trouble with realtors when we first moved down here. We arrived to another property after our long journey from Pennsylvania to an apartment that was... dilapidated. IMT Boynton Beach used to be Savannah Lakes. The new management has already made a huge improvement. The staff for Savannah Lakes was overall rude and unpleasant. IMT is in the process of remodeling and beautifying the place. The new management and staff is so polite and every time I walk into the leasing office they are just so nice and smiling and always willing to help out and answer questions.
