Have to take the time to share my experience using this locksmith. Never wrote a review. Have walked up to managers and owners and gave a thank you for their employees excellent service. The bad, I ignore and move on. Much more of that now a days. Have been in the auto business for 40 years. 12 as a service advisor. Number 1 priority, take care of the customer, and fix their car. My family and friends are technicians. I know the best there is. No one has ever worked on my car, except for me, or someone more qualified, with the right equipment. During multiple projects a couple weeks ago, I had to have my card security system reprogrammed after an ecm replacement. Plumbing, a challenge at best, everything else was a test of my will. There is not much customer service anymore. Looked up locksmiths in my area. Wrote down 6. First 3, no stars, talked with Bob and before he was done I asked when he could do it. He knew exactly what I was talking about and quoted me a very fair price. Less then 2 minutes. He said her shoot me a text to confirm price, and get the address. It was like talking to one of my guys. The way it was 20 years ago. That morning shot me a text to confirm. Shot me another text to advise time. Showed up. Respectful and intelligent. 15 minutes later my security reconized my keys. During our conversation I learned a couple things that I didn't know. This was the bright spot of the week, month. The one thing I got what I needed, and expected. Met a great guy in the process. Not only will I use him in the future, I won't be able to give him a high enough recommendation. So appreciate. I gotta admit, either i got very luck or Bobby from ALTA Locksmithing is an absolute Pro at his job, but the guy not only attended my request personally, and showed up when he said he would and did what i was hoping he would be able to do, but all this and more in just 10mins flat!! Let me put it into context. Its Sunday afternoon, pre- NFL Season Start football game, and I'm stranded at the airport Long-Term CarPark with a dead car battery, no starting, no electronics, no Key FOB to open/unlock the car, and desperate to do or get anyone to help me gain access to my car and boost the battery. Called ALTA Locksmithing without much hope of a successful on-site car-mechanic site-visit to assess my predicament, and then tell me that to access an AUDI SUV it would be very difficult and expensive. Well Bobby didn't present any objections, and was successful to not only gain access to my car, but also boost my dead battery! Within 15mins i was ready to make my way and resume what i thought was going to be a nightmare of an afternoon. I left this same review on Google but I'm going to copy/paste what I left there as I don't have better words to describe my experience. Such a great company, cannot believe how great they were! Here's my review: I cannot stress enough how absolutely amazing these guys are!! They are so kind, honest and easy to work with during such a stressful time as losing your car keys. The prices are the best I found. They were able to help me within such a short amount of time. Working with them surprisingly made the stress of it all immediately disappear because of how nice they are, efficient they are and how low the costs are. I will always turn to them when I am in need of a locksmith, hopefully I won't need one again, but they are the ones I will turn to. I cannot recommend them enough, like, I am legit blown away by how great they are. I'll be recommending them to all my friends and family if they ever need a locksmith. I had an unfortunate circumstance this morning as I locked my keys in my car while trying to catch an early morning flight. Alta Locksmithing was the only locksmithing company to answer the phone. I explained to Robert (the owner) that I was at the airport catching a flight out of town. Assuming it would be a busy day for locksmiths and service crews due to snow storm and below freezing weather, I assumed I would be waiting around for several hours before I would be serviced. Robert told me he would jump in his vehicle and immediately depart for the airport. He was able to come out and get my keys out of the car in 45 minutes which allowed me to catch my flight on time. Today i had a front door electronic lock installed. Bobby did the work. He showed up 5 minutes early. He was very professional. I got few quotes and alta had the best price. The other store didn't even have a lock to fit my thick door so they would have had to order it. Plus they wanted fifty dollars more. After bobby finished the lock which was done in a half hour cleanup and all he made me a chipped car key for 70 dollars less than ford wanted. And then for free he hooked me up with the code for my keyless entry on my vehicle. Ford wanted fifty for that to. So overall it was fast, professional and a money saving experience. Alta is a great great service and Company with great people they help me out tremendously saved me a ton of money extremely professional came to my job so I wasn't inconvenienced and took care of the problem I had also it was hundreds of dollars cheaper than what to do if the dealership wanted I highly recommend I dealt with the guy named Bobby good guy very honest very courteous very helpful and willing to wipe a few things off your bill to make it I was extremely satisfied from the beginning but Bobby hooked me up Alta hook me up grateful thank you guys! I was refered to bobby by a locksmith in buffalo who doesn't do car keys and fobs. I spoke to him at 9 am and he was able to have a new key and fob for my Jeep by 12. I was at work so he coordinated it all with my wife who wasn't gonna be free after 12. He worked with our schedules. On top of his professionalism he was responsive through out the whole experience. Bobbie was amazing, I had mowed my keys, yes, that's right. Only car key and everyone else said you have to ship the component to Subaru, $1200.00 please. Oh no! Bobbie asked "Can I see all the parts you picked out of the grass?" He actually found the tiny part of the fob that had the information stored in it to allow duplication of the key. I lost my car keys and was not able to start my car. I looked for a car locksmith over several days and I sent Bob an email, Bob responded quickly and came over to my place. Bob cut and programed the ignition key. Bob has very expensive equipment to do the job, he is very professional and very easy to work it, he updated me several times and told me when he will be at my place. Like the absent-minded dumb-butt that I am I locked my keys in the back of my car with my groceries. Bobby picked up first ring. told me he'd be there no problem and proceeded to communicate with me about exactly when and where he needed to be.
