This is a really nice building and the quality of the work that went into the construction is top notch. Location is great as the subway station is right downstairs. Easy 2 stop ride into Manhattan. I was looking for an apartment given we are in a pandemic, and thought i could score something at a reasonable price since it is now a renters market. Realtors really aren't making an income as people are either getting evicted, or moving back in with their parents to save money. In addition, NYC unemployment is super low and insulting, and doesn't cover rent that cost 2K and up. It doesn't even cover 1K rent with all other living expenses. However, half way through my apartment tour, i inquired whom the management company is. As soon as the dreaded words FSR (First Service Residential) came out of the realtors mouth, my face turned ghost white. Even Stevie Wonder could even tell how white it got. I have dealt with them in the past, and it was an extremely unpleasant experience. First, it is a management company, and they do NOT manage. Not sure why they are hired as a management company to begin with. Second, they will collect your rent checks ASAP, and cash them like there is no tomorrow. As if the whore of babylon is coming to end earth. Yet, as soon as one has a question to ask (which is their human basic right, and the right of any tenant), the property manager immediately disappears, doesn't answer emails, doesn't return voicemails, and the agency they hire to take messages clearly cannot do their job because the messages always disappear, get stolen, or the property manager gets it, looks at it, and throws it in the garbage and pretends he/she never looked at them, or received them. I have a feeling it is the latter of the 3. If one calls to ask if a light fixture uses a specific lightbulb, be prepared for dead air. They will NOT respond. Sad part is, no one is asking for money or saying they aren't renewing their lease. It is just a simple lightbulb question. A lot of fixtures don't use standard lightbulbs. They won't even be kind enough to reply, and ask that one reaches out to the super for further assistance. Check out their ZERO star reviews on Yelp and turn the other way. Do yourself this favor. Don't let a new building, and high end luxury force you to be a tenant that lives in complete misery. I did it to myself, and i am still having nightmares to this day about FSR. Hopefully the pandemic will drive their revenue down where they are forced to close down, and can no longer abuse tenants.

Great views, subway downstairs, lobby always clean and well-staffed. Can't speak for the co-living arrangement.

Don't fall for the false advertising. Good amenities, but you never know the type of suite mate you end of with. Mine was a disaster.

Since the heat turned on the loudest banging imaginable wakes me up 3-4 times a night. Coming from someone that works 10-12 hr days this is not ok. Not to mention I pay $2550 a month to live like this. I have had to remain in constant contact With the manager and service request system. At first it was the noise, then the heat didn't work at all (for a week) and they never addressed the noise now over a month. So I started recording and reached higher up within the Brodsky organization. They do very minimal and close the work orders without checking back in. So it is a constant process for me to follow up and resubmit work orders. Not to mention nothing has been fixed and I shouldn't have to deal with repair men who are rude coming in on a daily business on top of disregarding that I ask them not to interrupt during hrs I need to go work from home! The first thing that should be done is to drain radiators.....why after a month has this not been done. Additionally, the doormen are polite, however, one in particular never remembers me and can be rude at times. I moved in and no joke a friend of mine came over and they asked him if I knew he was coming over and sent him right up. Really secure thanks! Nonetheless not worth the rent, not secure, and not recommended!!!! Go away from Brodsky and this building in particular. Too bad I can't attach a video the sound is obnoxious!!!!!

As…read moreanyone knows who does the NYC search from afar, it is incredibly difficult to line up showings and act fast on great options. Through several initial calls, Vanessa went above and beyond to initially get to know my needs/wants in the search and would line up several showings for weekend trips I could make it up to NY. When I wasn't available to make the trip, she would go out of her way to do a virtual showings with me, even going so far to walk around the neighborhood on video so I got the lay of the land. Vanessa's reliable, calm and optimistic demeanor keep me going and ultimately we found the perfect spot. I couldn't recommend Vanessa enough and would absolutely use her for any future housing searches I have!

From day one, Alex has been nothing short of exceptional, kind, generous with his time, endlessly patient, and unbelievably knowledgeable about the NYC market. Coming from LA, we had so much to learn, and Alex guided us with grace, professionalism, and warmth. He never pressured us, always listened, educated us thoroughly, and stayed consistently positive and supportive through every twist and turn. He's not just an agent, he's a true advisor, teacher, and advocate. His attention to detail, communication skills, and deep understanding of the market are truly rare. And beyond all that, he's simply a wonderful human being we now call family, someone you instantly trust and enjoy working with. The buildings "solution" was to keep the sink stopper closed so the cockroaches could not come into my apartment through the pipes. That made it better but still had issues. The toilet chain rusted off within the month I was there and had to be replaced because the toilet wouldn't flush. I also had issues in which the fan my neighbor 1 floor above me and my fan were synched to the same remote. So when one of us would turn the light on it would trigger on the ceiling light. I talked to management they came in my apt and told me they had fixed it. Had issues again and now they tell me that they could not fix it. I had an amazon package delivered to my apartment. I had a confirmation email from amazon saying it was delivered. The doorman claimed that I must have picked it up. Later I found out that the doorman gave it to the wrong apartment. Instead of returning my package my neighbor opened it. My neighbor gave me half of the package but I was still missing half of it. Claims that it was never in there. Luckily amazon gave me a refund with no questions asked. I've had issues with the building manager as well. You have to reserve the elevator on move in. The manager put in the wrong week for move in so I had to call her back and sort it out on the day of the move after back and forth with the doorman. On move out I gave the manager permission for movers access to my apartment. She forgot to update it in my computer. As a result, the movers did not have access to my apartment the day of the move. Instead of letting them in the doorman told me to call the manager. I was at work and didn't have time to call the manager and offered to show the email as Proof that they have access. He refused to understand no matter how much I explained. I had to reschedule the movers. I only lived here for a year. The staff is incompetent and there is poor communication.
