I appreciated that Atecia listened to every concern I had. Through the process of trying to pin where the alterations would go, she would consistently check in with me to see if the fitting was too tight or loose, whether I would like more coverage, and how I would like the design to be. I appreciated the time she took to hear ALL of my concerns -- I never felt rushed and I always felt respected by her. This is in contrast to other alterations places I had called (they all tried to rush me and make me commit to things I didn't feel comfortable with). In the end, she turned a strapless dress into a beautiful, long-sleeve dress that people kept commenting on as we did our wedding photoshoot. I had no idea that it was possible to do as much as she did through alterations. For example, I had bought the wrong colored bolero -- my dress was a bright white, but the bolero was an ivory color. She worked MAGIC to fix it, as you can tell from the pictures. She hand-made another bolero for me and made it seem like the bolero was always part of the dress. I was SO pleased with all her hard work. Another important and great part of doing business with Atecia is that she works very quickly -- she knows exactly what to do, and her turnaround rate is very quick. It was a busy wedding season in August but she was always so calm and patient, even when I had last-minute requests. I had to do some one-week-before-the-wedding alterations and she was very accommodating. She finished the work within two days and I was seriously wow-ed.
