Update to My Previous Review…read more This is an update to my original review. Adding insult to injury, the owner's public response confirmed exactly why I chose not to return. Rather than acknowledging that customers can have legitimate concerns, his response was dismissive, defensive, and, in my opinion, unnecessarily demeaning. To address one point specifically: the owner states they "certainly cannot shrink a shirt because we do not put shirts in a dryer." That completely misses what I described. My shirts came back uneven after cleaning and pressing, with one side noticeably shorter than the other. Garments can become distorted during the dry-cleaning and finishing process through heat, chemicals, pressing, or handling--not just by being put in a dryer. The issue wasn't simply "shrinkage"; it was that the shirts no longer fit or hung correctly after being serviced. Instead of considering that something may have gone wrong, the owner chose to suggest that I was mistaken or confusing his business with another cleaner. That response speaks volumes about how customer concerns are handled. No business is perfect. Mistakes happen. What separates great businesses from average ones is how they respond when a customer raises a concern. A simple acknowledgment or willingness to investigate would have gone much further than attempting to discredit my experience. With so many excellent dry cleaners in the area, customer service matters as much as the quality of the cleaning. Based on both my experience and the owner's response, I cannot recommend this business.

Great local Seamstress very professional many years of experience great prices…read more I highly recommend her services

My husband was leaving for a trip overseas to visit his family. A cold climate there, so we…read morepurchased a beautiful Michael Kors coat for him. Sleeves were too long, so we took the coat to Claudia to shorten the sleeves. Here's what happened: The coat was not ready the day and time she promised. She told my husband to run an errand, and she would do it before he returned in half an hour. My husband was understanding and kind about her forgetting he was to pick up the finished coat that day. He returned, paid Claudia, took the coat and left. When he returned home, he took it out of the bag she had put it in and showed it to me (I can sew, but I don't have a machine to do coats--that's why we brought it to Claudia). Clearly Claudia shoved these thick, lined sleeves under the needle and TOPSTICHED the hems, ripping the lining. These hems were lumpy, bumpy, and destroyed the elegance of the coat. My husband's new coat was now unwearable. We had to take the coat to a high-level tailor to repair the mess Claudia gave us and then do the hems properly. That was successful, but it cost a good bit. We asked Claudia for our money back. First her Zelle wouldn't "load" she said. Then she assured us she'd mail a check. No check, no refund. We can never recoup the time we wasted on this, but ask yourself, "What professional seamstress/tailor does shoddy work and then refuses to refund the money customers paid her in good faith"? She did an awful job, forced us to find someone else to fix her work and then hem the sleeves properly, and then, excuse after excuse, a check that was not sent, and a Zelle that was not sent, we finally have a Zelle today, 2/18. Assuming the Zelle clears on Tuesday, we will be refunded the money we paid her--after weeks of emails, texts, and requests for our money back.

I asked if they could steam the bottom when they're done to get the wrinkles out, and he said yes. I asked how much and verbatim said "its done next door so I don't know exactly but it'll be a couple more bucks" I get back and they literally charged me DOUBLE what I initially agreed to for the alteration. SHADY, unprofessional, and bad business overall. The drapes were not even hemmed evenly. What a terrible way to squeeze money out of people.

I brought some clothes of my daughter last Thursday and the day for the pick up was on Monday. On…read moreMonday I picked up my order. The jacket had not been dry cleaned but only pressed. All the original stains were still on the jacket (see photos). The red dress had a grease stain in the front, easy to remove, and the stain was still there. It was clear to me that the jacket had not been cleaned at all...they didn't even touch it. The black stain on the jeans was still there and the white polo had still the original stains and was not press as well. This is a shame. How can a cleaner stay in business without cleaning the Customers clothes? This is the worst experience in my life. I told the lady that I didn't want to pay for the clothes as they had not been cleaned. (Out of six pieces, only 2 were ok). She tore them clean out of my hand and she started screaming and she was very bad and rude. She didn't even offer to redo the clothes. When I asked her why they didn't use the common stain removers like Pyratex she erroneously said that this stain remover cannot be used for dry cleaning. Therefore either they don't do dry cleaning or they don't know how to do it and for a dry cleaning store it's a shame anyway. I asked to speak to the owner and she said he was not there and she couldn't call him either. At the end I had to pay the full amount (expensive) to get my dirty clothes back. I'll never go back to this cleaner and I will recommend all my friends to do the same.
