This place was really expensive, they do have really good quality on alterations but I turned in a…read moresuit jacket that needed a repaired rip and then dry cleaned, I turned it in 2 weeks before the date of when it was supposed to be done. I needed it done before I went on vacation and when I went to pick it up on the date they said it would be ready and they said it wasn't ready yet and they didn't even start on it yet and told me to check back the next day and they should have it done, I came back the next day they STILL didn't have it done and I was leaving for vacation the next day. They rush ordered it to get it done in an hour. I asked for a discount because of how late they were running and they said the best they could do was .50cents even though they caused a lot of stress over me trying to get my suit jacket on time. This kind of display showed me that they really do not care about the customer cause even after they said it would be done next day, they still didn't even care to start on it. I will not go here again there are better places to go. *EDITED* so the Business owner contacted me and he was very courteous and is going to re-imbues me the money for my alterations. I love when people do communicate back because it shows they care. Sometimes it takes the top people to show you that they actually do care and support their customers.

It's mostly a store for men, but I've found a few things that even I've been able to wear. During the street fair, they sell t-shirts and hoodies for women. I wouldn't have any Red Wings, Tigers, or Lions gear without this store! They don't only sell fancy suits, ties, shirts, and shoes! They also sell a lot of affordable accessories like keychains, tie clips, shaving needs, and cuff links, so it's a great place to go buy a gift for the guys in your life. My dad LOVES Tommy Bahama and Chelsea has a huge selection, so I always check here first. I think I've gotten a gift here for every guy I've ever dated, now that I think about it. They have great sales ALL the time. I am so surprised to read about "bad service" here. All of the people who work at Chelsea have been nothing but attentive, knowledgable, and helpful every single time I've shopped there!
