This is a family run place, which I liked from the get go. The young woman who handles the counter is very competent and friendly. The job was done correctly exactly when it was promised and I received a text message telling me so. The pick up was as pleasant and efficiently handled as the drop off. Most places are hit or miss and I leave clothes concerned about the results. From the start, I had confidence in Kelly. She took the time for me to try the jackets on and knew what the length should be based on the type of jacket. I've been a couple different places where the people didn't know how things should look, only asking what I wanted and if that looked ok. I left two jackets with her to hem the sleaves. My jackets came back in a week and the sleeves were $25 each. They are perfect. The stitching is excellent, the fit is exactly how it should be and the jackets don't look hemmed. The sleeve cuffs are straight and look original. I'll be back here for all my alteration needs.

I routinely use tailors and after moving to Plant City, needed someone local. I searched around and Sew n' Go had good reviews. I dropped two pairs of jeans off on a Thursday morning. The friendly lady welcomed me and asked what length I would like them. I preferred to try them on to ensure an accurate measurement. She took the jeans and offered to have them back by the following Tuesday. 5 day turn-around including the weekend is pretty quick. I've left jeans some places and had to wait 3 weeks to get them back. The cost was also decent. $24 total for two hems. The lowest I've paid before was around $30 for two hems. No complaints there. The issue came when I got home and tried on the pants. My wife looked at them said they were noticeably hemmed. The stitching was uneven and the hem was unprofessionally done. In turn, the pants are uneven. One of my pairs has two different length legs and the inside lengths are shorter than the outside. Needless to say, I won't be back. The jeans are wearable and on a daily basis, no one will likely notice but I'd much rather pay $6 more and go somewhere else. At least I know the work will be done right the first time.

It is difficult to put into words how incredible of an experience we had at Lynn Fashion & Bridal…read more I bought my wedding dress off the rack at least three sizes too large and was incredibly nervous about getting alterations done so that it would fit perfectly. On top of the extensiveness of the alterations, the fabric of my dress is incredibly delicate and intricate, so I'm sure it was a challenge to work with. Tina and the other staff here are some of the nicest people. She said that they put love into their work, and both my parents and I could not have agreed more. They were kind and attentive and you can tell how much care they put into their work both during measurements and their masterful sewing. Beyond just doing the alterations, Tina made sure my mom and I felt comfortable putting up the bustle for my dress and teaching me how to sit in a chair without pulling on it. Every detail was thought of. We were incredibly impressed. Their work is actual magic! One appointment for measurements and one appointment to try it on and it was an absolute perfect fit. I will absolutely be coming back for any clothing that I need altered in the future.
