I received a gift certificate from my husband and overall I enjoyed my visit! I would definitely…read morereturn! Why not 5 stars? It's sparse, as far as "Day Spa's" go, but this is more of a massage clinic even though they call it a day spa, but don't expect the fluff & butter of a real spa (think Gaylord Relache - one of my all-time favorite local spas as a client). But also remember that you get what you pay for. The "day spa" that everyone wants & expects takes big money to establish & operate, and when clients are only paying $80 on average for a basic massage, that will not buy a wet room, a vichy shower, or even the expensive electric tables that we've all come to love if you've ever been on one. Okay, maybe you don't know why electric tables are nice, or important, but as a licensed massage therapist I can tell you that electric tables are among the critical tools to help prolong the life of the massage therapist! Because the basic table with wooden legs cannot realistically be adjusted for each varying body size, it means the therapist is compensating in some way. That ultimately means the client may not be getting the best massage, but as a therapist, I promise I always gave my best, no matter what the conditions! So you have to hope, and trust, that your therapist has the same work ethic. Long story short, in spite of the lack of waterfalls, steam room, saunas, whirlpools and relaxation lounge, they DO have good therapists, who know what they're doing & care about their practice. I received a very relaxing hot stone massage that I would gladly return for!

I wish I could provide a positive review. However, I made an appointment thru ClassPass which I…read morehave done multiple times. Unfortunately the address was wrong, twice. I eventually found the "current" address and got there as soon as I could. Along the way I phoned 2x with no answer or call back. I find that type of business unacceptable, I accept that I was late however a business that states they are open till 7pm should respond to voicemails. As I arrived I knocked on the door with no answer or response, not good at all! So my stress relieving massage was stress-inducing

I haven't lost weight yet, but I've definitely lost inches, and people have started noticing that I look more toned. That's a big win for me, especially since it's only been a few weeks. Just a heads-up for anyone thinking about joining: for the workouts I do, you're required to use their mat and towel. I saw that mentioned in other reviews before I signed up, so I was mentally prepared for the extra cost (about $100 for both). They were running a $1 enrollment special when I joined, so that helped balance things out. Everyone here has been super friendly, and I've had a great experience so far. I've already recommended Hotworx to my friends and family. Hopefully this review helps someone else feel more prepared too!

I just wanted to give a more in depth review than I did when this location first opened…read more While I love HotWorx in general for the concept and everything it provides, I have to share that HotWorx Euless is incredibly special. I didn't even realize how above and beyond it is until I moved away and had another place become my "home location". Christine and Will do SO much for their members. They really put effort into showing how much they care and they treat you like an individual, not just a number. They acknowledge your accomplishments with a shout out, they host events, they provide free samples from local businesses, and they always provide excellent customer service. They're just really compassionate & passionate people and it's very obvious they love what they do. That love pours over into how well the gym and its members are taken care of. I haven't found that in another location since moving away.

I used to have a monthly membership quite a few years ago. They don't offer the monthly anymore,…read morebut the annual is very manageable ($30 for Hurst residents) though I've been told the rates will go up October 1st. I was surprised at first, but then I saw all the upgrades they've made since I was last a member. Great upgrades. The walking track has been painted, the smaller fitness room with the cardio machines has been laid out better, and they made an amazing weight room in the second gym. I was just astounded at the work they've put in to make this place more functional over the years, and way better equipment. For $75 annual, or $100 starting October 1st, you get two fitness rooms, a real indoor walking track, workout classes, an upstairs strengthening room, and the nicest front desk staff. That's less than half of what you'd pay at the gym. I can't believe I had been wasting money at a gym for less features and perks. Keep up the great work!

I've grown really fond of this place. My husband and I decided we were going to get a gym…read moremembership back in January to start the year off right. We paid $100 for a family annual pass since we are Hurst residents. The folks working the front desk are always very friendly and helpful. The gym seems to be kept in good condition and I frequently see them cleaning different areas. Antibacterial wipes to wipe down the machines after you use them are readily available at pretty much all times, you never have to go very far to seek any out. I've never had any issues with broken machines. It's also much less busy than some of the other gyms in the area, which I love. They do not have a sauna or pool or any fancy equipment (for example; prone leg curl, v squat machine, hip thrust machine etc) but they have all your basic machines, plenty of cardio machines and a turf area with a sled pull. My one gripe is that I wish they had better hours. They close at 5:00pm Friday and Saturday, and are closed all day Sunday. I got a gym membership somewhere else to supplement some of the other stuff and the days the Hurst Rec was closed, but I ended up cancelling it because I just had a much better experience at the Hurst Rec and ended up using Sunday as a rest day anyway. It's no frills but it gets the job done, and for the price, it's pretty hard to beat.

I will warn you to stay away from the personal training service. It is done through a third-party and I signed up shortly after joining. I was contacted once about five weeks later to ask me if I wanted to schedule a training session. By this time I had already made my first of four attempts to cancel the service. They never contacted me again about a training session, but since they wouldn't cancel my service and I stopped payments through the credit card. They got very interested in contacting me every few days about paying for the service that they never provided.

There is a "woman's only section" which is kind of cool. It has a movie theater where you can watch movies while on the cardio machines. The only thing is the woman's area is rather tiny and lacks a lot of stuff. Good thing is you can go out to the regular section and do all the workouts that you are missing. The regular gym section is large and has a big turf area which a lot of other gyms I've been to are missing. You can come here for 10 Dollars a month which is great, or 20 if you want to go to all the locations. The classes they offer are good, but not many throughout the day. For example if you want to do a cycle class the one they have is at like 5:30 am. Even if you work in the morning day 8 or 9 to be 5:30 is still super early. They do have different options of classes though, so that is cool. If you want to go to a piyoga class they offer that (Pilates mixed with yoga). They also have a sauna and a basket ball court. All in all I would say try it out. The only thing it's missing really is a pool and hot tub, but for 10 dollars you can't complain
