My chiropractor sent me here to try PEMF for extreme pain and inflammation in my leg. PEMF (aka Pulse at Cryo-X) has been a game changer. Besides the incredible relaxation from being in the private pod with a cozy blanket, the treatment itself makes a true difference in pain level. I've also been using whole body cryotherapy to reduce inflammation and speed recovery from harder workouts. The lymphatic drainage massage is incredible. I've had only one session but I was offered a package to make returning for a series more affordable. In fact, most if not all services have packages or memberships which bring down the prices if you are planning repeat visits. The treatments are fantastic, and the staff is great. The place is always well staffed. I've never had a wait for anything unless I had an appointment and arrived early. My walk in visits are also quick. And the staff knew my name after only a couple visits. They are friendly and efficient. I've been to other cryo facilities in the area but this is now my self care home base. I am a long-time Cryo-X customer and have been doing cryotherapy at Cryo-X for about 5-6 years. Before Covid, I froze about 5 times a week, but post-Covid, my schedule changed and I was lucky if I could make it once or twice a month. Initially, I started cryo for muscle recovery but a few months ago, I started back regularly to reduce the inflammation in my body. I have one hip that is a little higher than the other and as I've gotten *ahem* older, my hip shifts out of place and the inflammation can be very painful. I was spending a lot of time at the chiropractor to adjust my hip but the muscles were still inflamed which still left me pretty sore. Once I started going back to cryo a few times a week, I noticed that I was having to go to the chiropractor less! In the last year or 2, Cryo-X has added a lot more services but I've never had time to try any of them out. Last month I tried compression in the sanctuary theater for the first time and it was AMAZING! It was SO relaxing and a significant help to my sore muscles but the best treatment was the pulse therapy! The pain in my hip had flared up again and my chiropractor was on vacation, so after my regular freeze, I decided to try pulse therapy. The pulse wasn't painful but initially, it was kind of annoying (like an annoying sibling repeatedly poking you). But after a minute or 2, I got used to it and it felt more like a full-body vibration. I only did a quick 15 mini-pulse in the chair but when I stood up, the pain was completely gone! I couldn't believe it worked that quickly but it did! Next time I'm doing full body for an hour and I can't wait!! read more

I am already pretty well versed on compression, cryotherapy & all of the things one who stays extremely active needs to do to stay well. But electromagnetic therapy....is something fairly unfamiliar!! So when I saw it as an option on my Class Pass membership I said, what the heck let's try this! My body was ready for it too after 1 hour of hot power yoga + a sweaty run this morning. Time for some recovery TLC!! I've been pretty busy today so I actually missed my original time slot. Thankfully they got me in for a 3:30 appointment. I laid down on the bed and that pulse therapy got to work on my back. You absolutely feel it working too. It does not feel good at first...but later on in the session, your muscles loosen up. I feel so great and relieved of stress and pain just after even 30 minutes. It is incredible how much stress our bodies hold onto. Do yourself a favor if you are someone who likes to rip and run without breaks and try this out. You will be so happy you did! Run dont walk to Cryo-X. I have only been going for 3 weeks now and I already feel the difference. I have several auto immune issues that cause inflammation. After receiving cryo, light pod therapy, compression therapy and vitamin injections I'm starting to feel the beneficial effects all the above have. The amount of pain I deal with on a day to day basis is excruciating, any relieve is welcomed and Cryo-x did that for me. I cant wait to see what another couple of weeks will do for me. I also wanted to mention this fact. Most wellness centers are extremely costly thus many of us cant go. Cryo-X makes it affordable. Every Wednesday they have "Happy Hour". The staff here do a great job to distract you from freezing , it's best not to think that you are freezing. I feel it does help me with anxiety and also has anti-depression benefits . After doing cryo on a 1-2/week basis, I got to the point where my body feels so energized after freezing. After feeling lethargic all summer in the heat, this is a BIG deal! It is for healing and at first it feels a little strange, but after a moment you zone out and stare at the super cool dome, projected with stars.
