The equipment is good and there's a lot of room. But it's not all in use. they have schedules posted, but I have never seen the group X room or the cycling room in use. I will warn you to stay away from the personal training service. It is done through a third-party and I signed up shortly after joining. I was contacted once about five weeks later to ask me if I wanted to schedule a training session. By this time I had already made my first of four attempts to cancel the service. They never contacted me again about a training session, but since they wouldn't cancel my service and I stopped payments through the credit card. They got very interested in contacting me every few days about paying for the service that they never provided. read more

All in all this is a good gym for the price. I came here with my friend a few times now because she had a guest past and then they offer a 5 day trial to try the gym out as well. There is a "woman's only section" which is kind of cool. It has a movie theater where you can watch movies while on the cardio machines. The only thing is the woman's area is rather tiny and lacks a lot of stuff. Good thing is you can go out to the regular section and do all the workouts that you are missing. The regular gym section is large and has a big turf area which a lot of other gyms I've been to are missing. You can come here for 10 Dollars a month which is great, or 20 if you want to go to all the locations. The classes they offer are good, but not many throughout the day. For example if you want to do a cycle class the one they have is at like 5:30 am. Even if you work in the morning day 8 or 9 to be 5:30 is still super early. They do have different options of classes though, so that is cool. If you want to go to a piyoga class they offer that (Pilates mixed with yoga). They also have a sauna and a basket ball court. All in all I would say try it out. The only thing it's missing really is a pool and hot tub, but for 10 dollars you can't complain read more

Is there a way to give negative stars? Tried to cancel in October, they informed me I had two more months to my contract. I asked for it to be cancelled as soon as it was up. They told me okay. Yet still billed for January. I have tried calling multiple times and had extremely long wait times. Finally able to talk to a rep/Laura after a 50 minute hold time who told me that my contract does not end till the end of January, not what I was told. Asked to cancel and then told okay, you can cancel but it wont be cancelled till the end of February because it requires a 30 day notice. I have now given a 3 month notice. Even if the notice was today a notice would put me at February 4th, not the end of February. Never even stepped foot in the gym. This is a purely customer service review. Horrible! read more

I enjoy my workouts here. I don't really interact with the staff but observations always seem to be very pleasant. There are enough machines to get the job done. Probably could use a little more free weight area but it's not bad. Plenty of cardio bikes, treadmills and step machines. The basketball courts are pretty busy. I haven't displayed my old timers skill in there yet but the time is coming!! The sauna could use a little attention with some deep cleaning but the sauna works well. Most people stay to themselves which is good having an uninterrupted work out. Don't let the parking fool you, more cars than people on most days between 7-9 pm anyways. Never mind on my previous review. The positive things about this gym is the variety of equipment & it's size. Also, that we pay $10 per month with $0 down because we signed up before they opened. Aside from that, the rest is negative. They had a few really friendly employees working the later shift that I loved. It seems they no longer work here & everyone else who does is rude. We rarely get greeted anymore and nothing is said when we leave. Multiple employees hang out at the front desk on their phones. The trainers are even worse. They would never speak or throw a smile your way. More than that, they seriously put clients at risk for getting injured as many of them seem to have no idea what they're doing. They let people do serious lifts with improper form and don't seem to care. Even the cleanliness of the gym has seriously gone downhill since opening. You'd have no idea this gym is as new as it is. Though our membership was cheap & a good deal, I have seen what others have mentioned multiple times about them promoting deals & not following through. They have one thing advertised outside & in emails and try to get more money from you once you try to sign up in person. read more

The only reason I'm giving this place one star is because the Assistant Manager Laura was really nice and helpful. I didn't catch the name of the female representative at the front desk around 6:40 pm today (Wednesday), but she was absolutely terrible, rude, weirdly argumentative, with a nasty dismissive attitude. I signed up about a week and half ago for a five day pass, in preparation for my out of state move (I didn't want to waste time with finding a new gym). Now that I'm finally here in Texas, I decided to check out the place. The email I received stated to just show the pass to the front desk. I walked in, and the girl at the desk just looked at me and continued to ignore me until I finally said "hello". I showed her the email of my five day pass, just hoping to gather more information about the gym, after visiting EOS fitness and disliking it due to it being over packed and crowded. She told me they don't have passes and I have to pay "like $16 for a day pass". I told her I have my five day pass, as well as several voicemails about coming in from the past almost two weeks, she told me I couldn't use it this month. I again showed her my email that stated otherwise, but she refused to look at my email. Then all of a sudden she changed the story saying I needed to schedule a visit with my 5 day pass 24 hours prior to just walking in, which is crazy because in the email it says the opposite!! When I showed her the email didn't state that, it states to just show the pass to the front desk, she still refused to look at my email, then said I needed to talk to a manager. So I told her fine. That would probably be better anyway. I asked for a manager and she just walked away. This is when the assistant manager, Laura stepped in to ask what was going on. She actually gave me a tour of the place (which is really what I wanted to do with the pass, in order to see what kind of equipment is offered). I wish I would have grabbed the rude girls name, but whoever she is, she either needs to work in the back away from the front because she had a NASTY rude attitude, or she needs to be fired from working a customer service position. Some guy walked in after me and she also had an attitude at him too. If you're miserable at where you work, or had a terrible day, don't project that onto other people who are just innocently walking in trying to find a place to workout. Leave that mess at home. She needs to find another profession outside of customer service or Fitness Connection needs to put her in the back of the house, away from the front door (because that attitude was atrocious). I'm just saying, on a business stand point, you guys will continue to lose potential sales/members if she keeps up with that ugly attitude. I decided to proceed with EOS. Personally, one of my favorites fitness connection locations! It's very clean and easy access to everything you need. My favorite has to be the women's workout area, because it has every machine you really need and it's very spacious as well. The locker room is clean and very large. The only downfall is that the hours aren't 24/7 so it's hard for me to get off late and still workout, but other than that.. great location! read more

Love the fact this gym is so clean. Sometimes machines don't work but they fix them very quickly. The staff is friendly as well. LOVE the kids club. Biggest thing they need to work on in my eyes is the woman theater. The volume of the movies either a) doesn't work at all or b) you can barely hear it and the controls in the gym don't work to adjust it ourselves....also, they have no system about what movie is playing therefore the same movies are played over and over day after day and that gets old. BEWARE - BEWARE - BEWARE This has to be the absolute WORST customer service we have ever received from any fitness center, we have ever been members of. In addition to almost never cleaning the facilities, leaving weights on the ground, and tons of broken down equipment (after only being open for just over a year) - the front desk staff is curt, condescending, and unhelpful. One of the staff members, Jacky, is the absolute worst. My wife and I have been coming to this gym since almost the beginning and the place has seriously changed. Your money and your patronage is much better served at places that better deserve it and appreciate it. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this place. I live in Arlington but I come all the way to Bedford to go to this gym. The gym is fairly newer and bigger than the Arlington location. But the staff are always friendly and wanting to help you in anyway they need to help you. The machines are always clean, the floor always looks great, the locker rooms are kept up nice and there's plenty of room to move about. I suggest this fitness connection location over the Arlington one. They also enforce wearing masks so bring your mask to not only protect others but also yourself. read more

WARNING WARNING!!! They do not care about their customers. I'm a former professional fighter. I went in asking if they had a punching bag. They said yes. I asked if I could check it out before I signed up and they said sure and pointed me to the direction. I noticed the bag was hung way to high exposing the bottom of the bag and also the hardest part of the bag. I told them the bag has to be rehung because of the dangers. I've seen people break their hands real easy. Their answer was " well we don't teach classes here and all customers signed a waiver so if they get hurt it's on them". So they don't care about customers safety or wellbeing. Please stay away from places like this. Injuring hands is a serious thing. It's something that stays with you forever. You can pick $0 down & $29 a month OR $199 down and $10 a month. This is false advertising and very disappointing. I spoke to a friend that joined the gym and she told me not to do it because she also did the $0 down and they found a way to charge her "fees" that she didn't agree to. I asked to be allowed to use my 5 day pass so that I could try different classes and they told me the price would go up if I didn't join right away. This gym has so much equipment! More than LA Fitness down the street. The staff are friendly and attentive. I love the theater while watching movies - Wow. Note: During this pandemic they REQUIRE full gloves and mask and take your temperature upon entry. This is the first gym I've attended since May where I actually feel safe! We picked this gym because of the low price and the fact that the kids club was included. We went in for our assessment with the trainer & were informed that we needed to "get a few more hours of sleep on the weekends" which is a laugh as we have a infant. Then after the assessment I was informed that I was a negative influence on my children because I wanted to use my money to sign my child up for swim lessons instead of doing their personal trainer program. When we went to pick our kids up it was a mad house in the kids area. Parents were reaching over the half wall and just picking up kids. It made me nervous because they could have grabbed anyone. Also, I was informed by the staff that my 6 month old was crying and upset which caused her to throw up 3 times. I was never called or informed that she was so upset. The facility is clean and if you have no kids and don't mind the used car salesman approach then this is the place for you! read more

Started going to this gym July 2019 after my gym closed down. It's been a great experience. Rolando was the consultant that helped sign me and my family up for our memberships. He's been one of the staff that's always greeted us with a smile and said hello. Rolando, and others, help us out with whatever we need or have questions with. It's a clean facility and the kids club does a great job with our kids. The regular members really like to keep the place looking clean and when needed the facility staff make rounds to make sure everything is look top notch. Great job for this location. I've been to a few other locations and this is one of my favorites to workout in. read more

Me and my friends (8 of us) were excited to try out the gym and hopefully create a membership. i called ahead to inquire about our "VIP" guest passes and was reassured we'd be able to test the facilities. when we arrived, at 9 pm, we were met by friendly faces, but one employee called "Stoney" took over and told us we could not enter or use our guest passes because the guest time ends at 10pm. rather than allowing us to tour and test the gym for the hour until guests weren't allowed, we were barred from doing anything and subsequently left without any interest in a membership. read more

The gym refuses to be open 24 hours a day. There is no more reason to not be, they just choose to now just because they can do it. Some people have odd work schedules that requires them to work out at 10pm or midnight and so on. read more

Let me start by saying the facilities are great, and the people have been nothing but friendly. BUT...read the fine print, and DO NOT trust what the person who signed you up says to you. Read the whole agreement top to bottom before signing (which I usually do, but since I was in a hurry I stupidly confirmed what I understood verbally). I signed up with someone during their $0 enrollment special. Verbally confirmed with the employee that the $0 enrollment included the $10/mo fee. He confirmed the same, but said that I would be charged an annual fee of $26 in the fall. Okay, fine. Nothing unusual about that. Paid my first month's dues in person, and out the door. August rolls around and my account is charge $22. Call in to ask, and they said it's because I signed up for $0, I pay a $22/mo fee. I explained that that was not what I was told in person, but since the agreement I signed (again, I did not read it, I just signed my name on the pad when I was told to) said I agreed to $22 a month, my only option to switch to paying $10/mo is to pay the $129 difference in fees for the "membership". Talked to management, who was unsympathetic, but did agree to "coach" their membership staff into making sure they understand what they're actually offering people. Here's hoping they actually follow through with it. That being said, I got burned, so I will not be staying or recommending this place. read more

Update: I wish the women's area had a larger space for weights. ALL of the women use the weights but there's only a small space to work. There are multiple machines that I've never seen anyone use, a few of which are also located in front of the conventional area. It would make more sense to have more room for weights. Also the switches for the theatre don't work so there is sometimes no sound or that weird chive channel is on. Really enjoy this gym but not being 24 hours is extremely inconvenient. 5 stars if it were 24 hours. read more

*Currently still a member of this gym and location* I signed up with FC when the opened last year, it used to be a great gym with plenty of equipment and optimal hours of operation. Since COVID with their location re-opening it has gone down hill, and into a landfill. A fair amount of the machines are not available for us, even equipment that is more than 6 feet apart. Locations are closed Sunday for "additional sanitizing/ cleaning" absolutely not true! The bathroom is a pigsty, literally disgusting and doesn't even have paper towels to dry hands. If that doesn't steer you away, just bring up your concerns to management. They'll belittle you, and treat you like you don't understand how a business streamline works. Then further extend on how they're doing "everything they can" with precautionary measures. Don't worry they'll still get you for your monthly (10$, and yearly recurring (60$). It's just comical that I as an individual can hold up my end of the contract, but this huge multi-million dollar gym can't do their part. read more
