He's on top of things!!! Rogelio distinguishes himself with a great work ethic. He's very responsive and communicates with you regularly during work, taking pictures and explaining the process. I did tease him about using "roofspeak" a little much, since I'm not always familiar with all the terminology. But eventually he gets the point across. What I like is that he is willing to do what it takes to get the job done. We had a leak issue that looked like one thing, but ended up being deeper. The original guy who looked at it took two stabs at it and did not fix the problem. Rogelio's original fix did not solve the problem either, but he got right back on it (during the Christmas holiday) to resolve the problem. The scope expanded somewhat (there were some hidden problems) and I did have to pay a bit more than the estimate, but he made me a fair deal. And he nailed it. After doing a water/hose test and a few days of rain, all was well. I'm happy I found Rogelio and Altura Roofing. We seldom are up on our cement tile roof, but recently decided to inspect and found a number of cracked tiles, missing ball finials at the ridge line, and worn sealant around roof vents. We found Rogelio at Altura via Yelp and are so happy we did. He and his crew came out and replaced several tiles, caulked hairline cracks, added new finials, sealed vents as needed and painted all the metal. They did a great job, were very professional, and even cleaned all debris from the roof. We had a roof leak in the middle of our house. Multi pitch roof with lots of angles. Had three roofing companies come out to examine and give bids. Altura, performed a thorough inspection and was the middle cost of the three bids. Rogelio and crew were very professional and kept the roof and surrounding area clean. The area was approximately 1/3 of the roof due to bird damage. They were on time and on budget. (rare nowadays). They matched the colors perfectly. We have had two rains since they did the work and no leaks!
