Hector and Classic Roofing were highly recommended by my realtor after completing a purchase on a house that needed a lot of TLC. He came by literally 45 minutes after calling, clambered all over roof, sent me clear photos and gave me a verbal description of what needed to be done regarding my Spanish tile/membrane roof. Verbal price broken down to 2 options - cleaning only or full reset (replace broken tiles/elastic paint 2 coats of membrane) - I accepted full one verbally, he said Monday AM start and the written estimate was in my email that evening. By Thursday noon job completed which clearly was needed and more extensive than initially thought - as an example replacement of 70 broken tiles turned into 150, a plugged roof drain for who knows how long was cleared, bags and bags of debris were collected and disposed of - a totally mess that came off roof on 4 sides was cleaned. The final bill didn't change - tipped his crew extra as it was clearly rough work due previous owner's years of neglect. I contacted Classic Roofing through their web site, hoping to get a quote for my home in Palm Springs. I never heard back, so I tried a second time several days later. Still nothing. I can't comment on the quality of their work, because they can't even be bothered to respond, but I can comment on their professionalism. I obviously selected someone else. read more

Hector and his assistants recently completed our roof. We are very pleased with his work. The roof looks wonderful and we know that it took extra time to remove the old shingles from 1968. He and helpers spent approximately 8 days completing the job. they were so pleasant and even helped me with repairs on my garden hose sprayer and his assistants helped me pull my dining room table open with great difficulty so I could add a leaf. We did have a small glitch, initially we asked for one of the 6 roof vents to be put over our hot garage and it didn't get done. Hector and his team have now done 2 roofs for us. First, they completely re-shingled a roof. They did a beautiful and professional job; top notch, high quality. They keep the job site clean, work fast, communicate well and are polite and courteous with the neighbors. I highly recommend them. The second roof needed a new elastomeric coating. They cleaned off all the old stuff, repaired any cracks with mesh and hand-rolled 2 layers of elastomeric coating (on 2 separate days, allowing each coat to dry in between). Hector and his crew are professional and take pride in their work and the end product is a great example of that. I will definitely be calling them again for our next project. read more

I called Classic Roofing when I noticed a leak in the ceiling after the recent rain. He was at my house within an hour and after a thorough inspection he told me what was required for a successful roof repair and why I had the problem in the first place. He promptly came back the following morning and not only did he repair the roof area which was leaking, he replaced a number of tiles which would eventually lead to the same problem.
