He was VERY knowledgeable, definitely the most knowledgeable stylist I've ever been to, and did a great job explaining how we were going to get my hair where I wanted it to be. We all know how that is. Your hair is looking good - then- like overnight, you're in need of a stylist. Women here are super nice, always pleasant, and certainly very skilled. Ramune loves cutting my short hair, and she does a fabulous job. I have short hair. I have straight hair. I like it in an asymmetrical style. Tight around my ears and back. It needs to be cut with many layers so it's sits just perfectly. Ramune is very skillful and definitely listens to me describe what I'm interested in. I also have a few pictures, front, sides, and back - top, too...so there's really no room for misunderstandings. I enjoy the personal one on one experience, instead of being passed on to colorist, a shampooer, and such. They are focused on YOU. They value your appointment time. I got a haircut from Misha with a 40 dollar gift card. The second that he saw that I had a gift…read morecard I can tell that he was displeased. There was barely and conversation whatsoever during the haircut or effort to get to know me. He just did the haircut as quick as he could to get rid of me. I was also supposed to recieve a shampoo, but didn't even bother to ask him because I know he didn't want to do it. The service was for 35 dollars and my gift card was for 40 dollars. I figured I would give him a 5 dollar tip off the gift card and maybe a bit more off of my credit card. I gave him the card and expected to get it back with 5 dollars in it or at least be asked if I wanted to tip off of the card. Misha just kept the entire card and I told him the service was for 35 dollars, but the card was for 40 dollars. He told me 'this is how you make money! ' I felt like I was robbed, but in a sense he was because I was going to give him a tip for the mid haircut that he gave me. No wonder the place is dead as a doornail! I really did not matter to me because I knew it was a 'one and done' and I was never going to go back anyhow. Someone should really talk to Misha about professionalism. Definitely busier during season, but off season the schedule is fairly flexible to get a cut on short notice. During season there is up to 4 barbers at work. Very good value.
