It was quick (which is important when you're hot and 8 months pregnant) but not rushed and his laid back personality took the pressure off of us trying to be "models". We took our photos on a Saturday and received our beautiful portfolio the following Wednesday. The pictures are amazing, more than I even imagined and I may have shed a tear or two. We were planning our wedding during the pandemic and things were constantly uncertain as to whether or not the wedding would be able go to on. Iman and DJ Kia had routine calls with us to check-in and offer advice. We knew we could trust their opinions and flexility during the uncertain times. On the day of the wedding, DJ Kia was so involved with every aspect of the ceremony and reception. He knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to make our wedding day an unforgettable experience. He literally orchestrated our ceremony processional and was making sure everything was running smoothly. Everyone felt at ease walking down the aisle because DJ Kia was there to send them off. We were lucky enough to have Iman MC our wedding, and believe us when we tell you he knows how to put on a show. The dance floor comes alive with Iman on stage and everyone was out of their seats and dancing the entire night. Our cocktail hour ended up going over schedule, which pushed back our reception. It was no worry though, because Iman was there to quickly restructure the timeline and ensure everything ran smoothly. Even with unexpected issues, we felt completely at ease knowing he had us covered. He is such a genuine person who truly cares about his client's happiness. We also used Night Owls for our video production and working with them was a truly pleasant experience. They captured every aspect of the wedding beautifully. In just a few short weeks, we had our trailer and wedding video created, both of which were edited to our liking. They were extremely patient with us throughout the process and the end result is videos we still can't stop watching! Thank you to Brandon and the team at Night Owls for all of their hard work. We trusted Valery and his team to film it and he failed us. After months of waiting on any footage or edits he kept saying that his footage was lost but he was working on recovering it. After a while he stopped responding all together and now has changed his phone number and took down his website. We paid him and all we wanted was to at least get the footage so we can work on the edit. We looked for an amicable solution but he didn't respond to this request, which leads me to believe that he was scamming us from day one.

He showed up late in the morning of the wedding, telling all sorts of lies about being stuck in traffic and not being able to find the hotel to go to. He promised to send a quick peak, 4 - 5 mins video recap of a wedding, within a week but he never did. He kept saying he lost the footage and he is working on recovering the data ... all lies. He kept asking for more time and finally stopped responding to emails, calls and texts. He even disconnected his phone line and took down his website. Stay away!

I would also like to give major props to Patrick, who was happy to be super collaborative about the editing process and let me come sit in while he put most of it together (our team is very opinionated). I was also stunned at the amount of usable footage (interviews & b-roll) we were able to collect in two days - we have nearly 10 hours of it.
