Always Moving has moved me MULTIPLE times! I love them and will always use their company for future moves as well. The first time they moved me was out of a rental where my upstairs bathroom ceiling fell into my living room and I had to vacate immediately for repair. Al got me in on a Saturday afternoon asking his guys to put me on the end of the day, making a short Saturday a long full Day for them! Some of my stuff was going to storage and some to families house. They were very helpful understanding and patient while I sorted through everything and helped me pack all mine and my kids things! When we got to my families home, the guys removed a medical bed out of my grandparents spare room and into their basement for storage. The second time they moved me was picking up from storage and my families house into a new place. Everything was placed into the designated rooms for me so I didn't have to swap all my furniture and boxes around myself. I really appreciated this, being a woman with children, this made it so easy for me to unpack and get settled! They also put the medical bed back and put it back together once my property was cleared from the space. My 3rd move with them was about 4 years later (December 2023) into a 3rd floor apartment in winter time. The company was on time, fast and handled my things with care. Even moving some of the furniture around when I changed my mind on placement so I didn't scratch my new hardwood floors! Kurry Ken and Mike are Great! You can definitely tell this is a family owned business by how genuine the workers are, they handle your property like it is their own. My bed wouldn't fit into my new place, Mike disassembled it in the yard in the cold and brought it inside and put the whole thing back together for me! I will forever use this company. I called Always Moving a month before my move and made an appointment, and was told that I was the first stop of the day and to expect 3 guys and a truck at 9am. Because I had read reviews of the company just not showing up when scheduled, I called a week before my move to confirm that I'm on their schedule. I was told that they have me in the book and that I'm their first job of the day. The day of my move, I get a call at 7:30am that they were having issues with their truck and that it would be closer to 11am or noon until they're able to come. Inconvenient, but not a huge deal. At 10:45, I call to see what their expected arrival time is and am told that it will be closer to 12 or 12:30 because their first job is taking longer than anticipated. This confused me as I was told I was the first stop of the day. At 12:45 I call again and am told that it will be at least another hour until they can get a crew to my house (which I was supposed to be out of by that point). They finally showed up at 3pm, 6 hours after I was promised. They fortunately loaded the truck pretty quickly once they arrived. When we got to my new apartment, I heard many complaints from each member of the crew about it being a 3rd floor apartment, even though I was completely clear when I made the appointment that I would be moving into the 3rd floor. Fortunately they were accommodating to bringing up some larger pieces of furniture around tight corners in the staircase. While they did give me a discount for being so late and worked quickly, their lateness and lack of professionalism aren't enough reason for me to want to hire them again. They have a cheaper rate than other companies I got quotes from, but I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Reading a recent tip on this company inspired me to write a review because they were outstanding! Always Moving is a local company that really offers amazing value and service when it comes to doing something everyone hates to do: move. If you're an able-bodied male or you own a truck, you've probably been approached by multiple friends and family with the hedging request of, "uh, hey, if I offer you food and beer will you, uh, help me move?" Well no longer do you have to feel guilty or forced: direct them to Always Moving! My husband and I worked 6 days a week long hours and really felt overwhelmed by the moving process. This company charged such a reasonable rate by the hour, brought all their own boxes, packed up all our stuff (pots and pans and toiletries and everything!) and moved everything to our new place while we were at work. They even took some of our stuff down to the dumpster for us too. We gave them all necessary keys and they did an amazing and hassle-free job at a very reasonable, if not cheap, price. There's nothing better than coming home from work to a place with all your stuff in it! I've recommended them to so many other people who have all said that they were a saving grace. The dispatcher literally told me the only person higher than him is God...after I asked to speak with a supervisor. This dispatcher also was completely unprofessional! I never recieved an email or a call about delivery and had to try to keep in touch with them throughout the move. Absolutely excellent service and professionalism! From the start, we were able to book an appointment with no advanced notice, for 24 hours out. The owner worked with us on a price, based on our specific need. Most moving companies are pretty strict about their listed prices, but "Always Moving" charged us fairly for the service we needed. We had Curry, Kenny, and Mike move our extremely heavy antique piano into the house, up stairs and across some not-so-easy obstacles. They were so down to earth and accommodating! It was almost 100 degrees and his men showed up on time and were very professional. I was going to try to do this on my own with a U-Haul and was happy I didn't. I would have needed 2 trucks and would not been out of my house on time (because I thought I only needed 1 truck.) Trust this professional, he knew what I needed for trucks and labor. The quote they gave me was about $1000 lower then what I actually had to pay for the move. I have filed 4 claims for the missing items now and am being completely ignored. 3 movers showed up, only 1 of them actually worked. One was fighting with his gf on the phone, the other just hid in the truck so he didn't have to carry anything. He told me i was "wasting his time" by not being as organized as he wanted. They almost refused to do a second trip, they called their manager to the house to try to get out of it. They were pissed, so the decided to put the remaining boxes (approx 30) in the basement, so I had to carry them up. All the boxes were clearly marked, and still are. So happy I paid movers, just so I can be moving boxes myself! read more

Always Moving we're very prompt in collecting the itemized moving list and did quote a competitive charge in the beginning but things started to fall off on the day of move. I was shown over capacity on the items (per their calculation) and was charged 70% more than the initial quote. And after the move I tried to reach customer service at least 40-50 attempts and raised the dispute on the capacity. After 1.5 months, I was told that they cannot approve any capacity dispute and had denied the claim. I'm not sure where they are getting all these good feedback comments but my experience has been the worst and definitely would not recommend to anyone to go through the stress that I had gone through, please don't use Always Moving service. read more

These guys are great. I called Always Moving earlier this week, and Al & his guys came by today for a complicated move of a large safe. While it wasn't smiles the whole time, the guys were all very professional, and handled the job well. At the end of the day, the safe was where I needed it, no damage to the house or the safe, and I'm sure they have some sore backs. In addition, the price was good. read more

We hired these guys to do our recent move. We opted to move most of the light stuff ourselves and had Always Moving do the heaving lifting, quite literally. They were speedy and professional. When they realized our box spring wasn't going to fit up the stairs they offered a suggestion on how others have done it in the past. (Yep, my friend came over, cut the wood slats and we bent it in half like a sandwich.) There were four guys who helping carry everything and it went pretty quickly. We told them where to put the stuff and they put our bed frame back together too. We were able to do everything in 2.5 hrs. $100/hr. I will forever pay people to move because it's 100% easier on you and your back. Plus, they have the tools and carts to do it right. read more

Unfortunately these guys never responded back to me. I filled out their online contact form...never got a response. I called 3 days later and left a voice mail...never got a response. Called again the next day...left another voice mail and still never got a response. I ended up going with another mover. Never use this mover !!! Very shady, uncaring and useless movers in my experience. They low balled me on estimate, then charged $475.00 for not even three hours of real work!!! A guy came to my house to give me the estimate so he knew how much stuff I had but he sent a smaller truck, to fit only 75% of my household then managed to fill entirely the big storage space I had rented. I was stuck with 25% of the furniture and other items. I had to make other arrangements to haul the rest later in the week. It cost me double, stressed me out to the max . The guy lied thru the teeth about their services. Told me that Nothnagle recommends them exclusively. What a bunch of leirs. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY TO MOVE YOU ANYWHERE .USE CAUTION. They showed up on time, at the time I requested, friendly and completely focused. They used care and consideration every step of the way. And FAST. This company sucks!! Do not waste your money. When I reserved the movers, I told the guys exactly what I was moving so he could provide a big enough truck. When the guys showed up, they left items for me to have to move the next day because the truck they brought was too small. After moving my belongings from the storage, I found that the movers sat my dining chairs on top of my recliner chair cause damage from being mushed on top for several days. I called the owner, he said he would call me back and I never heard from the guy again. He will not answer my calls or text. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I am out of $330.00 so far; I'm not sure what the repair cost will be for my recliner chair. read more

Due to recent knee surgery i knew i couldnt move myself and needed help. These guys were AWESOME! They moved me out of my apartment today and into my house in 1 hour and 15 minutes flat.
