Business falsely claimed they were the Marriot hotel themselves and falsely claimed that my wife had won a gift card at the marriage conference she attended. - the business is attending these marriage conferences to scam vulnerable people - was hiding their business name and pretending to be a more legitimate company like Marriot. was claiming that I just have to pay a small fee for hotel local taxes for the hotel stay which is normal so it made me think paying $139 was legitimate. - the business was giving everyone who attended this "prize" in the form of a phone call that is used to lure people into a timeshare or just to simply take their deposit - the phone sales people are deliberately misleading people so they sign up - was scamming vulnerable people, we took their call while we were in the birthing suite for my newborn girl, my wife thought this was good luck. Once I got the confirmation email and found out the real company name and terms of the confirmation by email, my wife was dismayed, she knew we would be losing the deposit and not getting the hotel stay and not getting the gift card. Effectively we knew we had been scammed once we got the confirmation which of course was after the payment as this was done over the phone under false pretenses with plenty of deception. The confirmation showed that hotel was not the same as discussed, the company was not the same and it was a timeshare not a normal hotel. - at no point in the phone call was there any mention of a timeshare which is pretty obvious because they were acting under another business name "Marriot" - the company tries to increase their legitimacy by pretending to be "part of the marriage conference venue team", "part of Marriot hotels" - they also lied during the phone call saying this was a new Marriot Hotel that we just opened up and made up an elaborate lie that due to the hotel opening soon they had a prize for a select few people at the newly wed conference due to their partnership with the conference to "try it" as a promotion. The story was completely fabricated so they could scam my wife and I. I did reach out to them to get a refund which was denied of course but this is not surprising given all I have typed above. My wife and I learned my lesson we got burnt by this company. Companies like these cause a general mistrust of all companies and make it much more difficult for legitimate companies to do business. I hope if you're reading the reviews, you're lucky enough to know the name of this company before you call back to accept the prize. I got a call and a voice message claiming that I won the award from the bridal expo I had attended, but the company name was not mentioned. The voice message explained that I had entered my info on a tablet when I first entered the convention center and I remembered doing that. I remember that prize being advertised as a gift card to Target. I called back hoping to collect and the lady congratulated me on winning a Visa card and needed my fiancee on the line to share other great news. I got my fiancee and she exclaimed that we won three free nights in Las Vegas at the Burkley, to be used within a year. The catch was that we needed to collect our gift within 6 months. Well we were skeptical and I (dumbly) (hindsight is 20/20) decided that we'd just put our card down for the deposit to hold our reservation to collect the gift in September, and then we'd cancel if we needed to. After the phone call we decided it was too expensive to fly or drive to Vegas to collect this gift and that we wanted to cancel. I called 30 min after the original phone call to cancel receiving the prize. Surprise surprise, NO REFUNDS!!! We lost $129 in deposit money because they held us on the phone and reiterated how loyal and legit of a company they are and that they'd never due anything to damage their reputation. Also, we could not transfer the gift to someone else. Again, hindsight is 20/20. DO NOT ACCEPT THEIR OFFER AND PLEASE READ OTHER 1-2 STAR REVIEWS!!! Saw a display setup at the Phoenix Internationl auto show. Was kind of interested It was a display for either a resort stay or cruise. Bryan explained it was a timeshare opportunity for cruise packages. The price only $249 The catch was we had to attend the timeshare meeting. Said it would happen on the ship. I was sold. I paid the $249 and he said I would get a $100 visa gift card also after I booked. When I got home I tried to book the cruise. It was an website address when I clicked it . It said page not found. I tried to call the number and it was a number for intoxalock. So all of it was fictitious. So I went online and found the actual website. They don't even offer cruise packages and so when I tried to enter a booking number it would not accept it. I called the number on the website and it was answered by Vacation Village Resorts. I spoke with someone who said the would have a manager call me. I waited, no call so I called back and was transfered to a resort that just put me on a loop in the call que.... Frustrated I called back. I finally reached a human and told her my delima, she said they didn't have cruise packages so I asked for them to cancel and refund, she said she couldn't do that but would make a note and have someone call me. Ok now I am pretty upset now. I say ok and we ended our conversation. A few min later a (manager) calls me. Asks if I ready to book my stay. I say yes and no. I tell her the story and she says she doesn't offer cruises but then put me on hold. I hang up. She calls back and says oh I just found out that we are doing cruises now. By this time I don't trust the company. I say just forget it. Please cancel and refund. She says I can't do that. I will have someone else call you... Crickets... Sorry for the novel. But I do believe in the State of AZ it is a class 6 felony or maybe a misdemeamor to misrepresent and sell something that does not exist. I will wait to see if I get a refund. read more

A Huge scam, I booked a vacation stay of 5 days 4 nights to their Orlando Resort on Parkway Avenue. I have bought plane tickets for my whole family and exactly 1 week from now, I have to be there. They just called me and told me that they have refunded the money i paid for the resort promotion because they don't accept Internationals anymore. They went further to explain to me that the price of the package i got has increased and they have decided to cancel my stay. I had reserved my stay since March. I todl them to send me a document saying they had cancelled my stay and they said their system doesn't have any such document. But their systems has documents to explain to you the package and every detail which they sent to me by email and by post. They cancelled my reservation without telling me and don't even have the decency to send me an official document. I still have to burst the news to my kids who are looking forward to this trip. Straight Clowns! Followed the procedure to request a refund for payment for the shabby rooms they hustle off through the radio station. Send the letter priority mail and it arrived the next day. They had the letter for 8 days and never refunded me. When I called they acted like they couldn't locate it and asked me for the tracking number I asked did I need that just to see if they would be honest and they weren't because the lady told me no I didn't need it but it would help them to locate the letter that they received 7days ago lol. Called back the next day and gave the tracking number then was put on hold then asked for the number again so they could look it up to verify? I'm confused? Phony as hell the Spanish chick on phone and the hood rats working there need to get a new gig for real. After she looked it up on the usps website because that's what she did im sure even though the letter was sitting right in front of her im sure she then told me I would receive a refund in 3-5 business days but I just received an email that said 5-7 business days . Just give me my money that's all I care about . This place is lame and so is the radio station for peddling the trash product and service. I will not rate any stars. Natalia and Lizbeth are horrible. They lie and beat people out of there money. I purchased the package in May 2020, due to covid and working with cancer patients I was unable to take the trip. I also went through a separation with my husband which they told me I have to be divorced to remove him. I had to pay additional money to have it extended to go avoid losing the trip. Now that I am divorced they are asking for more money which they mentioned last year when I paid for the extension. They are horrible, uncompassionate employees. All they want is your money. I am giving my contract to a lawyer to review to see what legal action I can take against this company. read more

My reviews are about the same as all the others. Funny how Suzanne has the same thing to say about each review. I'm glad I paid attention and backed it before handing over my card information. Person who answered the phone took my information and stated he would transfer me to a Deante for further information. Once forwarded to Deante and told I had to pay $299, I politely declined and was responded with "thought so" and hung up on. VERY rude. I called back to receive an answer from same person who stated he forwarded the call to Deante. I told him what happened and he tells me I was talking to him. So apparently he firstly lied about forwarding me to a different rep, created a fake name and everything and then proceeded to get sassy with me because I had questions about the price of the package and when the payment was due. Says that i should have known because it was stated in the commercial. I explained to him that I called in a fit of excitement as I heard contest and vacation and hardly ever win anything. Should have know then it was a scam! Looked up reviews online and all people can say is SCAM SCAM! Heck exam 1,000 people out of $299, no wonder you all are still on business! I have like many others, filed a complaint with the BBB. We are in the middle of a pandemic and companies like you should be ashamed of yourself for using people. We were selected to receive a call from this company at a Home and Garden show raffle. During the call it was explained that we would receive two vacation packages to either Ft Lauderdale, Orlando or Vegas, Our choice on both trips with the stipulation that we couldn't go to the same city twice. Also a 200.00 VISA gift card. But first we needed to agree to attend a mandatory 90 minute tour and pay 99.00 which which would be refunded at the tour. The salesman never mentioned that there would be no refunds prior to the tour but that is required in the state of Florida. Once we paid the 99.00 an email was sent to us with the details. There was only one vacation package where we could choose with no cities listed and a mandatory stay at a Weston FL hotel as the other vacation. And the 90 minute tour was actually a 120 minute tour. Ultimately what they promise on the phone is not what they send in the email. We tried to get a refund same day, no contact, but the next day we spoke to a rep of the company and they said it is impossible to get a refund. read more

Hello, I won a radio contest with you guys and received a 4 day, 3 night hotel stay in Orlando and in Las Vegas with a $150 gift card. The price I paid for this 'contest' was $300. I was slightly skeptical when no one was able to give me details of the hotel. When I received the information of the hotel, I thought this will be nice. This was the worst mistake I could have made. This hotel is absolutely horrible. There has been trash sitting in the hallway since we checked it (the paper in the room says leave trash outside your door), there has been a giant laundry basket sitting right next to the elevator as well. In the room, the hot water isn't running and the bathroom is all rusted. It is almost like a ghost town and also makes me fearful of if staff is really maintaining the COVID-19 guidelines of cleanliness. Also, the whole parking lot is pitch black and there is no lighting. It is pretty scary and feels very unsafe to be outside any time after dark. I am beyond disappointed considering I still had to pay for this, and I had to pay hotel fees. So even with the $150 gift card, I still end up paying about $270 with the hotel fees for Vegas as well if I attend. This is such a cruel scam, considering also that I used this voucher for my birthday. It is horrible to think that a company would do this as I also again, spent my own money on it. Also, when I went to pick up my voucher, the woman assisting me told me I had to go to a different location to pick up the gift card. I asked her the hours of the other location and she told me she did not know and that I should go now. Me assuming that the office would be open Mon-Fri did not go that moment since I just got to Orlando and was trying to go to a theme park. The theme parks close at 5 now for some reason, so I really wasn't trying to waste time. This morning, I drove to the location to pick up the gift card. I walked inside the location and a woman asked me why and how I got in because they were closed. I told her the door was open and she seemed annoyed at my presence telling me that's she's closed and who told me to come there. I told her the woman from the other location, and she was complaining about how I was lucky she was there. There are no hours posted on the door, so how would anyone know the hours? She gives me the gift card, still bothered even though this is supposed to be a getaway for me. Again, this is my birthday, as she hears me on the phone. I don't live in Orlando either, so I'm not understanding when else I would maintain the gift card? So I leave the place and she doesn't say thank you or have a great day. Very disappointing! We are vacation village owners and we were duped into a visit. We came in under false pretenses that we were receiving a concierge offer for current owners. Myself and my husband asked repeatedly if this was a time share presentation because we were Not interested. We were reassured, it is not but we would need to meet with our concierge representative for at least 30 minutes to discuss the upgrades and the program we were offered for being owners in food standing for more than 10 years. Again, it seemed too good to be true, and our gut impression was accurate. Not to mention the power pressure presentation to basically get you to put more money into another time share. How in the world is this whole concept of outright lying to consumers not frailest, or illegal practices? So after looking at this new beautiful modern units, what the heck is the unit I'm in? How does that seem appropriate to anyone? Essentially it was a old room, musty, in the original building, not renovated or updated; to boot another 4 hour presentation, pressured and occupied entirely too much of my day, for no money, and an ok breakfast. Got a call from an aggressive sales person. First thing she told me was I won a vacation and $150. Then after a long conversation I was told the only way to get it would be to pay $75, lug my kids 4.5 up to Virginia and attend a 90 minute presentation. I told her I was a teacher in NC and I had not a dime to my name at this point. I also told her I had tidlers that don't even sit for 15 minutes. Horrible traveling agent. We paid for 6 nights and 7 days in Florida. They only booked us 4 nights, when we called to have it change they only booked us 5 nights. We were left without a place to stay with our kids because they never booked us a room. When called customer service only offered us 50$ and said it was our fault, we never made them aware of the issue. My naive daughter thought she "won" a radio contest. She gave her credit card for $299 which in itself should have been a clue. Nowhere in the contest did it say This is to Solicit a Time Share, and you must make a minimum of $50K. (if it was said it would have been at warp speed). Only after she gave her card did the paper work show up to reveal what the deal was. Obviously within minutes tried to cancel and they have tried to collect a cancellation fee. The credit card company has been alerted, lawyers have been called and a run around has been given by the company. read more

Found the deal on the radio station and for 300$ deposit which I got back after the 90 min presentation and wonderful brunch .my family and I had a blast.
