Purchased a lunabella chandelier from Gregory and Peter. A few small hiccups but nothing to get upset about. Peter delivered the chandelier to kingwood on a very sturdy angle iron/ rebarb frame and that was greatly appreciated. He was kind enough to leave the frame and trusted in me to return it (I did). That meant a lot to me, as I knew there was little chance the chandelier would be damaged while waiting for the electrician. Their prices are very competitive, we actually saved about 1,000 by doing business with him over two of his competitors. Lunabella makes beautiful lighting and there are only about 5 dealers in the Houston area, so the competitive pricing was certainly a sight for sore eyes. We will do business with them again in the future, and next time we are in Beaumont during the day we are excited about touring the showroom there. read more

I recently purchased a long dresser from Alyson Jon Interiors. I knew what I wanted and the dimensions required. After walking through the showroom, I saw several beautiful pieces that would have worked in my space, but still wanted to look at more. Do yourself a favor, talk to one of the designers and they will find several options for you. They can email photos and pricing. It is impossible for any showroom to stock every option available but in most cases they can provide a wood finish sample. If you want quality furnishings I recommend going to AJ. The showroom is beautiful. Take time to walk through the showroom slowly, you will most likely find a treasure that you didn't know you needed until you saw it. With so many of us forced to shop online, check out their website, they can email pricing. Keep in mind, they are one of the few that have been around for so many years in Houston so they have access to many brands. A fair price will be given and you will BE SUPPORTING A LOCAL business. I highly recommend shopping in person when possible. If you catch the owner, Peter Green in the store, introduce yourself. You will be glad that you did. He knows furniture better than most people. He also knows Houston better than most. The delivery is easy, the guys are incredibly nice and respectful. If I find something online or in another shop, I still purchase it from AJ. read more

I walked into this store and this man walked up to me who you would think to be respectful however this dude named Gregory is absolutely awful. He had absolutely no respect for the customer. He assumed everything I had said to be not true however I knew exactly what I was talking about. I could've swore the saying is "the customer is always right" Gregory didn't have a good attitude from the very start and made making a purchase extremely difficult due to the fact he was over charging me $250 from the price we had previously discussed. On Bissonnet between Kirby and Shepherd, they have quality furniture that you don't see on every corner. Tasteful with a touch of flair, Alyson Jon carries standard furniture lines, but infuses their store with unique statement pieces that will make an impression in your home. Alyson Jon isn't Star Furniture, so expect to pay for the quality, but their pieces are investments that will last many, many years. They also have great accessories and little vignettes around the store that give fabulous decorating ideas. read more

The showroom is actually much larger than it appears from outside and they have a large selection of items. Most can be customized with your choice of fabric and I also learned they have catalogs and catalogs of items they can special order for you through their design program. I would say the items in the showroom lean toward formal and "flashy". Think lots of mirrored furniture, shiny lacquer, animal print/material, metal... It's not my personal taste but again, what's on the floor is not their only offering. The woman who greeted me checked in a few times to make sure I was finding everything which was appreciated. When pressed, I did mention that I was still finding my style and she encouraged me to speak with one of their designers so I did. He was friendly and showed me a few items from their catalog that resembled items on my Pinterest board. When you use a designer, you get 30% off your order so it might be worth looking into. If I understood him correctly, their design service is free of charge. I received a follow up from him the week after my visit, but the items and photos that he referenced were not at all what we had talked about. That did not inspire a lot of confidence in their attention to detail and personalized service hence my rating. read more

I went to Alyson Jon Interiors about 3 weeks ago in an attempt to purchase new furniture for new apartment. I was rudely greeted by a man named Gregory, as if I wasting his free time. I only asked simple questions hoping for a simple responses but all I got in return was shitty advice. Basically he tried persuading me to purchase the most expensive furniture even though he knew I had a budget. This man has no regards for anyone but his money and himself as a sales associate you better be able to sack the fuck up and help every customer the way the should be treated. read more

LOVE what they have inside but my third time to buy there over a year's timeframe, I ordered a custom piece. That time, I dealt with a salesman who acted like my very best friend throughout the process, told me he would call in six weeks when it was ready - and dropped off the face of the earth. I've worked with designers and know there are always logistical hiccups that delay everything so I was very patient, but it was annoying to have to call and leave several messages before getting an excuse, "I've been sick", "I had company in town", etc. Sometimes, I actually had to stop off at the store just to find out where my piece was! Finally, after SEVEN MONTHS - yes, seven months - I got firm and lo and behold, the piece arrived within days, accompanied by much hissing and huffing from the salesman who made it clear how inconvenient this delivery timing was for him and his other clients. My friends shop there and I periodically check the web site to see if the salesman is still there. Unfortunately he is and I won't go back as long as he works there. read more

The showroom is beautifully displayed with all kinds of fine furniture, gorgeous paintings, pillows, lamps, chandeliers, mirrors and nice accessories, all of very high quality. Most importantly, Gregory, a very competent designer, goes out of his way to help us making the right choices. He came to my house to study the living room and gave his advice of what would be the best furniture, rug, paintings and decoration.When he delivered the furniture, his staff spent several hours installing the chandelier and hanging the paintings.
