She has good choices of repertoire that covers various styles and time periods. Jacob is now 6 yrs. old and has recently received his Level 3 MTAC Certificate with Ms.Yun's guidance. I…read moredon't push my daughter to play the piano or practice and I don't care how quickly she learns so she is totally free to make this her own thing. She however, has learned enough to perform. She's performed at a venue before the pandemic and now she's performed online. This has given her so much more confidence. It is such a delight to hear her play and I know she enjoys it because I never made her. I know however, that some parents expect a certain measure of practical piano progress in their children and if you're looking for that, Michelle is great! She works with kids to help them practice on their own and assigns light homework to keep them directed. Michelle offers online instruction and also in-home instruction but with very strict infection control regulations. She is very cautious and cares about not spreading disease. That is why we choose online instruction. It's easy and is still totally effective! Thank you, Michelle for all that you do!

She sings every direction to the kids so it's always fun and sweet. She plays the piano, has unique songs she repeats for learning, I sing them at home w my son and he lights up! She teaches song notes, does imaginative play with songs, gets them to exercise around the room w music. I enjoyed the class just as much as he did. Highly recommend her classes. Offered 1x week for about 2 months per session :) great value for the education and experience it provides to the kids.

She was clearly bothered and insisted that I bring my daughter to in person classes; however that was not possible for me but she seemed to not understand. To this date she has not refunded me $185 for extra classes she asked me to purchase which would help her pay for college plus $45 for one missed class. If you are a working mom I recommend you find another piano teacher who does not add stress to your life and beware she takes it very bad when you announce you will unenroll. P.S. Honesty does not seem to be part of Layla's business practices.
