I ordered furniture through JCP on Black Friday, all items was sent out of Columbus OH warehouse immediately. Why JCP picked AM/PM movers to deliver in our area?? It is now after Christmas, and these very unprofessional people that don't know anything about logistics or customer service still have not delivered my furniture. They managed to miss (4) set appointments two week period prior Christmas, and these items were Christmas gifts. Each day they set an appointment, someone had to miss work and wait around for these loons. I called JCP to get refund. Christmas was ruined! Thanks for nothing! read more

We have used AM-PM Movers multiple times, they moved my parents from Alabama to Morristown; our kids from here to ETSU and back: our household goods from one neighborhood to another here in town plus several other moves that don't come readily to mind. Every single move was done with young men who were delightful and very hard workers. Everything was done when promised for a very reasonable price. Six stars if I could! read more

Update: My delivery was rescheduled for the 31st. On the 31st my furniture was still not delivered by 3:00, they close at 4. Rather than deal with them again via telephone I called customer service at JC Penney's. The CSR called ampm movers and they told the rep they didn't have a good phone # to get in touch with me. Lie. Not only did I email a working number on the 23rd of May, they called my number when they rescheduled me on the 28th to have it delivered on the 31st. What sort of moving service can't bring a truck up a gravel driveway? Well ampm movers can't. They had to push my furniture on hand trucks from the beginning of my driveway to my front door and for that I guess is the reason they left a bunch of trash at my mailbox. read more

This company is very unprofessional. I ordered a mattress set from serta direct. And got a call from this company telling me my delivery is Friday between 11-3. No one called me after that and on the delivery day. I had a call from this company at pm with nothing but excuses. Turns out the delivery crew did not want to deliver and use excuses of being sick and other things. Claiming they have been in business for over 13 years. If a company has been in business this long it is obvious they do not know how to conduct business and need to rethink this line of work using excuses like this. All this company has done is offer excuses. read more

I called this company to help move some delicate pieces from my mother's house to mine. They sent two of their best. Tim and Andrew took great care of each piece and were careful with door facings, wood floors, staircases, etc. They went above and beyond making this a great experience for me. Thank you, A.M.P.M. Don't let the address discourage you, they moved us from Kingsport, TN to Elizabethton, TN without additional fee. The actual movers were the most diligent, courteous and professional movers I've ever encountered. They took great care with all of our furniture, with no resultant damage from the move. They listened to our requests and accommodated every one of them. They did not leave either location until they were sure we were satisfied. They did not damage any landscaping, nor track up the house with dirt. I cannot rate them higher than 5 stars or I would. You cannot go wrong with using this company. We moved from Hawaii to an apartment in Church Hill, TN in July of 2014. July of 2015 we have now purchased a house in Morristown and called the Morristown AM.PM. movers for a quote. Because we still have our 808 area code we always identify ourselves as local, otherwise people tend not to call us back. For whatever the reason, after having left a message with Am.Pm movers in Morristown and clearly identifying ourselves as local, they NEVER returned the call. Either they don't need our business, or they're incompetent and don't deserve anyone's business. read more

I had a set of mattresses shipped to my parents from a local big box club store that contracts with this company to deliver. We were guaranteed "white glove" delivery, but rest assured, it is anything but that. AM/PM Movers out of Morristown, Tennessee were the most rude and unprofessional people my parents have ever dealt with! Their online reviews are already horrible, and to think that a major department store continues to contract with them to deliver products is downright insane. Both men were extremely rude to my elderly parents, carried mud all through the house, almost tore down a ceiling fan, and nearly ripped the door facings off the wall. Even though my mother asked that they carefully remove the plastic packaging so that she could save it for her old mattress, they purposely ripped it to shreds getting it off the new one. They said they had "7 minutes" to set up the mattress and thus were in a big rush. When my mother asked one of the "men" a question about moving the old mattress, he literally shrugged his shoulder, rolled his eyes, and sighed a loud "SHEW". I should also mention that during a pre-delivery phone call, my mother asked the delivery man a question about the time frame, and he just hung up on her. I have tried to reach this company by phone, and there has been no return call, because they simply do not care. If this is the type of company/characters that the store or manufacturer contracts with without repercussion or care for customers, we will NOT be renewing our club membership. read more

In early Dec. 2013 we paid AMPM movers $2,732 to pack all our household goods and put them in storage. On 6/24/15 we paid them $1,390 to load them out of storage and deliver to our new address. NO ONE else touched our goods. Their sloppy packing practices (no mattress boxes) resulted in one of our king size mattresses being ruined and they lost the bolts for one of the beds. They promised to return the next day and let us know something about our mattress and to replace the bolts on the bed. THEY LIED. We waited 2 wks and bought new bolts at Lowes. Have you priced a king size mattress lately? Very expensive. We also had a number of ceramic figurines and vases broken and told we would get 60 cents per pound. Not worth filing a claim. We would NEVER use AMPM again and would advise anyone else to beware of this incompetent company. We feel that we paid a total of $4,122 to have a lot of our possessions destroyed. read more
