We started off with a two hour open bar at Nikki Beach club, where we were given endless bottles of Ciroc and chasers. I think one of the best parts of the open bar was seeing the servers actually open the bottles in front of us, so we knew we were getting the real deal and not well vodka in Ciroc bottles (You'd be surprised how often this happens!) After the two hour open bar there was a party bus that took us and another group of people to club LIV. I think the party bus was a lot of my groups favorite part of the night because we got to have an amazing time just going to the club and also got the chance to meet other people who were also having a good time in Miami. When I spoke to Greg after the open bar he told me that his mission was to help connect different groups of people in a fun, party atmosphere. When we got to the club, our group was given immediate entry in without any sort of cover charge or waiting in lines. For this one night, myself and the 15 others in my group got to party like VIP rockstars in beautiful Miami. Best bachelor/bachelorette weekend ever!!! First, my colleague emailed them twice last week. No answer, so she asks me to call. First call goes to voicemail as I get a text message at the exact same time saying "please text us instead". I call again because I'd prefer to place an order over the phone (which I think would have prevented this whole issue entirely). Someone answers and goes "Hi please send us a text message!" and hangs up on me before I could even finish speaking. So I place the order over text, goes smooth, but we did have a few changes before finalizing it.There was a point where miscommunication happened on how payment works and I expressed I was confused. And this is where things got bad - he started telling me HE was confused, texting me saying "did you reply? you never did." He told me, verbatim, "I have the best communication there is". How can you say that when I'm literally just expressing to you that as a paying customer, I am confused on the process. He literally told me I have nothing to be confused about - since when do employees get to decide that for customers? The best part is he THEN calls me - to yell at me more about how his communication is perfect and how I'm the problem! I was kind of laughing at one point because I was baffled that this man just had to be right so badly, he wanted to call me and tell me I'm wrong. The amount of attitude I felt via text message was shocking. Again, I understand there was definitely a miscommunication, but never in my life have I been spoken to this way from a business employee. And pro tip: take orders over the phone. Putting customers into situations where they only text is a recipe for disaster. (The employee will argue that he tried calling me a few times, but note that was only when he wanted my credit card payment). A message to the man I spoke to on the phone: YOU DO NOT TALK TO PEOPLE THAT WAY. It's rude and embarrassing. I've worked 10+ years in the service industry, and I've never ONCE let my ego of being right interfere with business and keeping a customer happy. Customer service 101. You should take a class.
