Dr. G agreed to extract…read moreall four of my wisdom teeth for which he said he was supposed to sedate me but when I got there he was totally unable to even get an IV into me properly so he just decided to do it anyway with absolutely NO SEDATION period. I had never had my teeth pulled before so I had no idea how horrid of a choice that was on his part. So he was only able to pull one of the teeth and then he got to the second bottom right wisdom tooth and couldn't pull it out normally at which point HE SHOULD HAVE ENDED THE PROCEDURE, but instead he decided to start cutting into my bottom right wisdom tooth while I'm still totally 100% awake and he is using nothing but local anesthesia, long story short it took him 3.5 hours to extract 2 wisdom teeth total! It took me multiple weeks and a ton of pain and PTSD related symptoms from being put through such a horrendous experience. The so called 'medical assistants' that he has working for him could not or would not pay attention and do their jobs well enough to keep all the blood from running down my throat and onto the front of my shirt, my husband was HORRIFIED when he saw the state I was in after they were done hacking at my mouth for 3.5 hours regardless of how many times I begged them to please stop yet he refused to do so. I am writing this review so that potential patients know the risk they will be taking if they choose to use this dental practice in any capacity. I can only speak to my personally terrifying experience and God only knows I WISH I were making this up bc it really should never have happened to me and I hope it never happens to anyone else. I actually enjoy going to the dentist and have consistently gone every 6 months for years, so I know exactly what to expect from a routine visit. While the administrative staff was nice and attentive, my clinical experience with Dr. Patel felt more like a high-pressure "timeshare sales pitch" than a medical consultation. The first red flag happened when Dr. Patel recommended a specific cleaning that included a rinse/spray. When I told him I just wanted the basic cleaning covered by my insurance, he dismissed my preference. He stated he didn't know anything about my insurance coverage and refused to perform the basic cleaning. I later learned that his recommended cleaning came with an out-of-pocket expense of at least $100. The second red flag came when he displayed my X-rays on the big screen. He went over every tooth and recommended replacing old silver fillings with cosmetic white ones, along with several other costly procedures. When I questioned his recommendations, he became condescending and repeatedly asked if he had explained it well and if I even understood him.At that point, it became clear that I was dealing with a money-hungry dentist rather than a trustworthy provider whose primary focus is patient care. I will not be returning.

He has a super gentle touch so he is not a at all going to make you feel uncomfortable in the chair. Even the novocaine injections are a breeze. He is very knowledgeable and always takes his time to provide us with the answers we need. The dental assistant, Rosa is the best, she always takes her time to make sure you are comfortable before Dr. Hoang begins his work. They are always professional and kind. Susan is very very supportive when it comes to coordinating our insurance (which can be so confusion) for care. Susan is thorough and detailed in explaining my insurance deductibles copays and costs. As well as eventually trying Facebook and respond to any text they sent me. Never a response. I even did the appointment request option because you can add notes. Saying I cannot make or receive calls. But that I cannot cancel the appointments via the auto texts. I was finally able to borrow a phone and call, and was told they were busy. They got the messages. But are not required to respond. Well they ignored me saying to cancel my daughter's appointment as well. So now we got charged a no show fee. Even though I made it clear in the messages that we no longer had insurance. And our family cannot make it to the appointments. Well now I've gotten a 50 bill for my youngest missed appointment. All of my emails were well before the date of her appointment. And why could I never get any sort of email response. How could you just finally tell me you don't have to respond. I had no idea if they were even getting the messages. I kept trying the ways I could. How do you manage an office by telling someone they don't have to respond to your email.
