All of a sudden every time I went to the dentist I had cavities, need crowns etc. My most recent trip they told me I had a cavity back on my molar that needs to be filled. I said to Dr Patel, that I just had that filled by Dr Kim on my prior visit. She insisted that it was different, but I remember it because I endured the pain to get it filled. Upon my return trip for the filling, Dr Patel stated it was 2 cavities needed to be filled?!! I was like all of a sudden it is 2 cavities when my estimate stated only 1. Dr Patel started drilling away and about 30 mins in she stopped drilling and said to me, I am doing my best but the cavity is in between my back molar and the adjacent tooth. She also stated it could possible need a root canal if the filling doesn't work. I said I came to fill 1 cavity that turned into 2 cavities and now you are saying possible a root canal ?? Then I rolled my tongue across the area and was SHOCKED to feel my molar bored out so much that was there any tooth left?? I asked her why she bored out, what felt like my whole tooth, so much of my tooth and she stated because of the cavity touching 2 teeth. Right then I knew this was the exact area where Dr. Kim tried to fill. I told her that Dr Kim must have done it wrong, because she is telling me the cavity was underneath the filling. Common sense tells you the cavity wasn't done right the first time. So she continued drilling and about 1 1/2 hours later I left with swollen lip,do to the assistant stretching my mouth so far, and a prognosis of a possible root canal if this filling doesn't work. A couple of months later I went to a different dentist, for my 2nd cleaning for the year, and he tells me that my tooth needs a root canal. Now facing a $3000.00 root canal when this new dentist looked at the tooth she told me she could not do a root canal because my tooth was FRACTURED and needed to be pulled!!! She stated the previous dentist took out so much of the tooth that it fractured and could not be saved. So they pulled my right molar. Now this is my steak chewing tooth and now I need a $5000.00 implant!!!!! If you value your teeth do NOT go to Hamilton Mill Dental Associates because they will nickel and dime you to death and possible fracture your teeth!!! I had a crown come out from them and they couldn't see me for three days to fix it and then told me you should never go this long to get a replacement....I said that y'all would not work me in. Again Crowns should NOT come off unless they were done incorrectly the first time!! Again another$1500.00!! BEWARE of this office!!!! Stay away!!! Or you will be returning every time you have a cleaning!!!!! Please take my advice!!!! Dr. Patel is too inexperienced to be drilling anything in your mouth and the associates push down so hard with suction that your inside of your mouth will get cut, bruised or torn. Every Dentist I have been to ALWAYS puts Vaseline on your lips to prevent the trauma!!! If you love your teeth and want to keep them DO NOT VISIT HAMILTON MILL DENTAL ASSOCIATES !!!!

After a disastrous experience with my general dentist--who began Invisalign treatment before referring me for necessary extractions--I ended up facing painful and unavoidable complications. The delayed referral caused my extra teeth to shift, cutting through my gums and even fracturing the root of a neighboring tooth. Since May, I've had three extractions, a root canal, and an apicoectomy. It's been an incredibly difficult road, but the one thing that has made this bearable is the professionalism, expertise, and kindness of Dr. Walker and his team. From the front desk to the surgical support staff, everyone has treated me with compassion and thorough care. Dr. Walker took the time to explain everything, answer questions, and guide me through each step with clarity and patience. If you are facing the daunting prospect of oral or facial surgery, I would recommend this practice without hesitation. They are the only reason I've made it through this ordeal with my sanity--and a (somewhat restored) smile.

Insurance then advised US that allowed amount is $2700. No one ever called to let us know of a refund. We had to approach them for it. After two discouraging and frustrating consultations with other dentists and oral surgeons, we talked to Dr Vancil. He was so kind and compassionate and thoroughly explained the issues ave the procedure he would perform. The procedure ended up being far more intense and difficult than originally anticipated because of the depth of the roots of my sons teeth so Dr Vancil was not able to extract any of the teeth but he instead had to cut out each individual tooth! He made my son feel as comfortable as possible and able to withstand the procedure. ! We are beyond thankful for his expertise and compassion and how he handled every aspect of this whole process! There's nothing he can't handle. You don't feel any pain, except for a little pinch that would last about 5-7 seconds as he shoots up your gums to numb you very well. He leaves you for about 5-7 minutes while the meds go to work. He comes back and prick you in the places where he's going to work while asking you if you feel this or that. The high powered stuff he has, you don't feel a thing!! You won't even realize after a tooth has been taken out. Now, as this place is pricey, keep in mind you're dealing with a specialist and not a general dentist. After all is said and done, he gives you a prescription for some high powered pain meds, which I love, and you will never feel any pain at all. Depending on what type of insurance you have dictates what you will pay out of pocket. However as I did say, depending on the procedure you're having can possibly run up into the thousands. If you need a specialist, check this guy out. There's nothing like a pain free specialist on your side.
