Had my birthday dinner here on Sunday. I really wanted to love this place again after a previous amazing meal/experience, but this visit wasn't as good as the last. The Wagyu steak, which was the highlight last time, was just mediocre this time and definitely not worth the $81 price tag. On the bright side, the sides were all DELICIOUS and the waiters and other service staff were wonderful--attentive, friendly, and helpful. They tended to my table when my waiter was tied up with a large party. Also, the manager was actively checking in on diners and showed genuine care for the experience. The only downside at the front was the hostess, who was quite dry and could have used a bit more warmth to welcome and interact with guests. Despite the great service, the quality of steak didn't match the high cost, as previously mentioned, leaving me with mixed feelings about returning. But We'll see...

Good food and service ! Really nice decor . They don't skimp out on the alcohol which is great.

Happy hour menu ALL bread, if there is any protein its full of bread

The service was good .The food MEH , drinks no alcohol. . But im not sure if i can recommend this place for the food. , the communication about the menu poor. We went there for happy hour and they give you 2 menus . The regular menu and the happy hour menu. Why is this confusing, because we sat at the bar . Here is the trick. The happy hour menu is filled with bread items and the whole thing is bread and carbs while the main menu has tapas and much more proteins . After 4 apps we noticed it was mostly bread. Its a bussiness and for sure they made their money, but why not include tapas in the happy hour menu . So if you go there look at both menus. The octopus had zero octopus . They saw me coming,. The cocktail not alcohol in them get a beers instead.

Serrano salad is an awesome addition.

Was here several years ago back during the Revel days. Glad this place is still there! We ordered a few tapas (lamb meatballs, octopus, tomato bread, and the Serrano salad). Everything tasted great and came out promptly. Beautiful views of the ocean. The server forgot my gin and tonic, but made up for it by giving me a healthy sized version of it gratis. We would definitely come back to this location or their Philly spot

Went to Amada for happy hour on a Thursday night. Easily grabbed two bar seats and the bartender came right over to take our drink order. The drinks were great. We ordered 3 different apps from the happy hour menu and everything we had was delicious! Great deals too. Would definitely go back!

We came in for the famous Seafood Paella and tapas. We ordered a bunch of tapas to share among 5 of us. The tapas were kind of pricy for the portion they gave us. The octopus was kind of over-cooked slightly. The Brussels sprouts, shrimps and tomato bread were good. The Paella have various seafood ingredients including lobster, but the rice was kind of hard. Overall, it was a good meal but way over-priced (almost $300 for 5)

The food and drinks here were great. I liked my old fashioned cocktail. The Patatas Bravas were crispy and delicious. The sauce it came with was good. The paella Valenciana was flavorful and I liked everything in there. I found it interesting that they used chicken wings instead of boneless, but it was still good. The service was great and the place had a dark, trendy ambiance.

My husband and I were staying at Ocean for our anniversary on a Sunday and the restaurant we usually frequent was closed. So, we made reservations for Amada. We looked at the menu ahead of time and were a little hesitant since it's mostly a tapas style menu and we are typically into apps, entrees, dessert situations, but there were several things we wanted to try. We were seated at a table near the bar by the windows. The view was great but the lighting was so dim it made it hard to see. More on this later. Our server greeted us and took our drink orders. My husband did one of the signature cocktails but I asked for an Aperol spritz with passionfruit. Not only were they willing to do it for me, it was divine! Our server was super helpful when it came time to order, since we didn't want to go overboard but wanted to make sure we got a decent variety of things to try. We opted for the bacon wrapped dates, garlic shrimp, patatas bravas, fideos, A5 Wagyu skewer, and the A3 strip steak. We wanted to try the Iberico pork but it was sold out. The "bread" service is what can best be described as pita-like chips and a tuna aioli with capers, which is reminiscent of a tuna salad. This is a very unique choice, but it was good. The bacon wrapped dates arrived first and were five small dates, wrapped with bacon, and stuffed with an almond. They were delicious and made us excited for what was to come. Next our A5 Wagyu skewer arrived. It was hard to see, since it was dark, but we took a photo with flash and were able to see that the horseradish cream was underneath and the chimichurri sauce was on top. The A5 is such a melt in your mouth cut of steak that the sauces were definitely overkill, and this is coming from someone who wants sauce on literally everything. The third item to come out was the garlic shrimp. This was about 7 tender shrimp sitting in a garlicky broth with little slices of baguette on top. We ranked the first 3 tapas as 1. Shrimp 2. Dates 3. A5. Shortly thereafter the fideos arrived. These were vermicelli noodles in a goat cheese sauce with Serrano ham, pistachio, and truffles. They were SO good! Highly recommend these. Then the patatas bravas arrived along with the NY strip. The patatas bravas are little crispy potato bites with a paprika aioli and they were so delicious too. While NY strip isn't a typical cut of steak we choose, in this case with it being A3, we wanted to give it a try. It arrived with 3 dipping sauces- a pepperocini style aioli, tomato romesco, and a shallot buerre blanc. The sauces were great and we couldn't choose a favorite. They all paired well with the steak. Despite being full and not needing another thing, we opted for the El Domingo for dessert. What's the El Domingo you ask? A sundae with dulce de leche filled churros, vanilla and chocolate gelato, whipped cream, candied walnuts, and cherries. It was the perfect ending to a delicious dinner. Our server was attentive and helpful. We would definitely come back again.

Expensive, but well worth the experience. Excellent view of ocean. A little bit expensive, but good to take your SO. Tapas food amazing, particularly flaming shrimp dish. Good service. After six months, I still remember this place and want to come back.

We came just for the day, and I had this spot on my must-try list. The hostess was warm and accommodating when I requested a window table for the ocean view. Though none were available, she seated us at the next best spot, close enough to enjoy the beautiful view. Meagan, our waitress, was an absolute gem. She even had on the cutest duck earrings! She partnered with a very kind gentleman (whose name I forgot--blame it on the wine!) and together they were attentive, friendly, and spot-on with their recommendations. We started with the garlic shrimp and clams, and Meagan insisted we try the bacon-wrapped dates. I gave her the side-eye at first (dates?), but BABY!!! One bite and I was sold. Even my 10yr old was raving. She told Meagan, "Five stars on the dates!" For the main, we shared the Paella Mariscos. My husband has a hearty appetite and even he couldn't finish it. The portion is huge, overflowing with seafood, and bursting with flavor. Because we were seated so close to the window, we even got a surprise bonus, front row seats to the drone show and fireworks over the ocean. A big shout-out to the manager, who made her rounds with a big smile and genuine warmth. You can tell she loves what she does. If you're in Atlantic City, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. Ocean views, amazing food, drone and fireworks show, and great service.

Terrible service on Sunday 1/18. Our bartender completely ignored my hubby & I but served everyone else around us. The specials that night we overheard but he never told us. When my hubby went to the bathroom, it was then that the bartender decided to ask me if I wanted another round. When I told him I wasn't sure what my hubby wanted, he said "he can wait, I'll take care of you". We had to flag him down for everything, including water! Would have totally ordered food if he just expressed interest. Pass on this place in AC!

Brought my girlfriend here for her birthday and boy did they not disappoint! The place was busy with it being the start of March Madness. We had to wait a fee minutes on our 7pm reservation only because we requested the birdcage seating, which is totally understandable. We got water as soon as we sat down. Our waiter explained the menu in great detail, we both ordered drinks. My gf says their sangria is great, and I had a nice glass of red wine. Their setup is a bit different as when each plate that you ordered is ready it comes right out. Her diver scallops (smaller option) came out quick and she said they were delicious, along with the wild mushroom rice she ordered. I got the rack of lamb (smaller option) which were AMAZING. It came with 3 different sauces which were all tasty. They also gave us a complimentary tuna dip which was great. Ofcourse we both wrapped our meals with their Spanish creme brulee, so good. Worth every penny if you ask me. They checked on us constantly and made sure we had a good experience.

Amada has not been up to par recently. I think the best time to go is when you sit at the bar- beautiful big bar and bartenders do a phenomenal job. The last time I went our server didn't even check on our meals. At the end didn't offer coffee or dessert- she said, "check?" The service was definitely not up to the prices and casino standards of Ocean. Linguini by the Sea was a much better experience.

The place was located on a deserted side street about a block and a half inland from the boardwalk. As we approached, we heard a bustling crowd in their outdoor space; the place seemed packed. We walked passed the garden and headed inside through the main entrance to find their casual bar and dining area. There were only a few local patrons, and it was definitely quiet. However, outside, there was a large fundraising event taking up a good deal of seats, but the Beer Hall was also allowing random folks like us to join the vibe. We were thrilled about this, since there was a live cover band in the yard, while the indoor atmosphere was much more subdued. The outdoor space included a small bar with stools, loads of picnic tables, a few couches, a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack and rocking chairs, and even a cornhole set. We grabbed some cozy chairs around the unlit fire pit and started to review the menu. We were not hungry, so we skipped the cuisine, but the catering food available to the event attendees looked and smelled delicious. While the place was known for their massive beer selection, we decided to indulge in a pitcher of Perfect Tenn Margaritas. The pitcher was a phenomenal deal at $45, when it was already $15 for a glass. Plus, we were able to get over 6 glasses from it. The outdoor bar was rows deep, so one of the staff members recommended that I order from the indoor bar instead, since it was not at all crowded. The bartender was a complete sweetheart and coordinated with another nice employee to help me carry the pitcher and cups outside to avoid any spills. The margarita had sounded great with its composition of Patron Silver Tequila, Patrón Citrónge Orange, and Triple Sec. However, while I had noticed those intricate details, I somehow glossed over the fact that the drink was premade and available on tap. I would not normally mind this, but it did make me question if it was actually using those higher-end ingredients. The bartender also alternated pours of the tapped cocktail and a bottle of lime juice, which led to the drink being beyond acidic and sweet. I had about a glass and half and left the rest of the pitcher for my drinking partner. I adored the fun outdoor garden, welcoming staff, and diversified menu, but the margarita was just way too tart for my liking.
