    Mussels with pasta

First off let me start by saying the vibes in this place are unmatched, very old school feel from the second you walk in the door. A big bar that wraps around pretty much the whole first level, tons of bars stools. Drinks are cheap, $5 for a beer in AC is almost unheard in these times. The food was great, got the clams casino to start and it was good, 7.5/10. I then ordered the Chicken parm for dinner, which comes with a family sized salad for the table. The chicken was really good very flavorful and super tender, perfect amount of cheese and sauce on it as well. Pasta was cooked perfect and was very good 10/10. My wife had got the mussels with pasta and that was out of this world. First off the amount of mussels you get is crazy they give you so much. They were cooked great, cleaned really well also. Service was good from the bar as well as when i sat down. Food came out fast and tastes great. They don't rush you they space out the appetizer and your meal very well so it gives you time to enjoy it and not eat your dinner right after you finish the appetizer. Last thing is the prices for all of this is unmatched great prices and good food definitely something to try out.

Great service and great food! I got the chicken Anthony with fettuccine pasta and a fabulous cannoli for dessert! Not pictured is the salad it came with, the house dressing was so so good! The house Riesling was very good too! The bread that came first was also good.

For a lover of all things Italian, I'm really unsure how this place has stayed in business all these years. Maybe just the buzz in the name itself, maybe just the tavern, the food wasn't good at all. The food is drowned in heavy sauce and mozzarella. Nothing I tasted intrigued my tastebuds at all. Matter of fact the food was meh at best. The server acted like every time we asked her for something she seemed a little overworked. The place though was jammed packed with patrons. Lots of old pics throughout the tavern. Go somewhere else to eat and maybe go here for some bottled drinks!

Ate here last night with a party of five. First off the place has an old school charm. It's deceptively large with multiple rooms. It was very crowded and after a 10 minute wait we were seated. Our server was attentive and friendly. We ordered a Calamari appetizer which was good but not great. Our entrees came out shortly afterwards. All of the main dishes were delicious and plentiful. Overall a good dining experience and I d recommend this restaurant for Italian with charm

I can't believe I waited this long to visit Angelo's Fairmount Tavern. I normally stick to the Restaurant's inside of the casino's when we visit Atlantic City. Over 20 years ago I won a gift card for this restaurant and gave it to my Aunt. This is now her favorite restaurant in AC and she goes there everytime she visits. This was my first time going with her, and I am so glad she suggested it. Everyone was so friendly, and the food was delicious. The Lobster Ravioli had a full lobster tail on the plate and lobster chunks throughout, the sauce was DELICIOUS. Everything there looked so good. I want to go back and try EVERYTHING.

I REALLY had some high hopes and wanted to love this place but it just didn't hit the mark for me. Service was great, ambiance even better. It was homey vibes, very old school and the house red was just right. The food was just very bland, the meatball was a bit too fried for me. I would go back and try something else, but out of all the food we had - nothing wowed us. Clams in a white (Alfredo sauce) Eggplant Florentine Stuffed Rigatoni in a blush sauce (bland) Lasagna with Sausage (good, lots of meat)

OG Italian Atlantic City Classic, the food was pretty good but my dish with a Lemon Butter sauce lacked much flavor so I had to ask my server for lemon wedges and had to sprinkle some salt on it to make it come alive. The salad that came with it was fresh and delicious. Gotta say, if you order ANY of their Chicken Cutlet dishes, make a "mini-sandwich" of it with the small Italian bread rolls they give you. It was NEXT LEVEL that way! The staff is professional and most have probably been working there for awhile, I was a first timer and would've appreciated a more welcoming experience. But I kind of felt as if I was having dinner at a diner - there's nothing particularly special about this place, no Italian music or Italian feeling and that's what I was hoping for. All in all, I'd go back but if you're looking for something fun, eating at the bar is a bit boring and I'm used to a more "engaging" experience but few at Angelo's seemed too interested in engaging, it looked like they were eager to just get back home. No one asked how I liked my meal. I felt like I was just served. Fed. And given a bill at the end. No vibe. It could be sooo much better and what they need to fix is so easy!

Bar upon entry. Get there early and have a cocktail!

Classic Italian. Great service. Bread, salad, soup. Leave some room for pasta entrees. Great experience for large family group.

It was the middle of the day so the place was pretty empty. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very cool. She had some good shows on TV and she poured heavy. During most of the year, this legendary, 24/7 pub is famous for its unique, memorabilia-filled atmosphere and historical ties to AC, the Monopoly game, prohibition, etc., attracting visitors who enjoy its authentic, home-style vibe. The food here is excellent! It took awhile to get waters, but our dude got around to it eventually. The salad was cool and fresh but the olive oil and lemon dressing was pure oil. No worries, I used the ranch from the wings and all was good. I liked the shaved Parmesan and the fact that someone took the time to slice the tiny grape tomatoes, precious. Wings were crunchy and spicy in all the right places. The Squire Burger had huge pieces of maple bacon sticking out from two patties cheese and iceberg. The fries were perfect. The bun was fluffy and glistening on top. Beautiful. We were surprised at the small bill, but left very satisfied. Highly recommend!

It's cute, clean and quiet, with a retro-'90s-gay-bar vibe: The Birdcage playing on multiple TVs and kitschy decor throughout. The staff were friendly and accommodating...until they weren't. We know Atlantic City is an expensive tourist trap, so $18 nachos didn't shock us. We were in the mood for trashy bar food and each ordered a plate: my partner got chicken, I got beef. Before ordering, I specifically confirmed the beef was GROUND beef, not steak, and was assured it was. The nachos were fine, but my "ground beef" was very clearly pre-made hamburger patties--probably frozen--broken into pieces, not seasoned ground beef prepared for nachos. But again: bar food. We also each ordered a $12 dessert: chocolate mousse with whipped cream for him and banana custard for me. What arrived was basically chocolate and banana pudding, likely straight from an industrial can. Okay then. The real problem came with the bill: we were charged an additional $10 for the chicken and $7 for the beef, the latter appearing only as a generic line item. The menu CLEARLY says: "choice of jerk chicken, beef or seasonal veggies." It says absolutely nothing about an upcharge. Everyone understands that if a listed choice costs extra, the menu needs to SAY so. In no world am I paying $28 for nachos with chicken. I brought this to the attention of the bartender and our waiter, and the bartender actually AGREED that the menu clearly says "choice of" implying you choose which one you want on your $18 nachos. The waiter, however, was argumentative and it became very awkward. Ultimately and reluctantly the additional charges were removed, with the caveat that "next time" we visit we will know. There will not be a next time. :\

2-Star Review -- Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, Caesars Atlantic City…read more August 23, 2026 at 5 pm I really wanted to like Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Atlantic City, especially given the reputation of the chef and the prices you expect at a restaurant like this. Unfortunately, our experience was a big disappointment. The seating was the first problem. We were initially offered seats on a railing directly next to a very busy walkway. It felt more like sitting in a mall food court than dining at a restaurant associated with a famous chef. We were eventually moved to a bench-style seat that was so low that we had to sit in separate chairs next to each other just to be comfortable. It made it difficult to even talk to or see each other. The food didn't improve things. Potato Leek Soup: Served lukewarm, with very little flavor and a consistency more like a flour-based paste than soup. The bacon pieces were actually the best part. French Onion Soup: There was more cheese stuck to the outside of the bowl than actually in the soup. The broth tasted more like bouillon than a rich beef stock. Burger: Also arrived lukewarm, which was especially surprising since I ordered it well done. The meat itself was good, but the pickles were easily the highlight--they were excellent. The burger came with one small piece of lettuce. Fish & Chips: This was the best dish of the meal. The fish was good, although there was quite a bit of excess breading on the ends. There were also gnats flying around the dining area, which certainly didn't help the experience. Another odd thing for a restaurant of this caliber is that there are no restrooms inside the restaurant. You have to leave the restaurant and go out into the busy hallway to find one. Again, it contributed to the feeling that we were dining in a food-court environment rather than a destination restaurant. The service was just okay. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was memorable either. When our food arrived, our server asked if everything "looked" alright, but never returned to actually ask how the food was. For a restaurant carrying the Gordon Ramsay name, I expected much more attention to detail and hospitality. Overall, I honestly felt the service was comparable to what I'd expect at a local pizza shop or an airport restaurant in Concourse C--not what I expected from a famous chef's restaurant. Two stars. The fish and chips and those pickles were good, but that's not enough to overcome the seating, lukewarm food, lack of flavor, gnats, mediocre service and overall atmosphere. For a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, I expected an experience worth remembering. Unfortunately, this is one I'll remember for the wrong reasons.
