Delicious wine, great service, we sat on a patio inside the grape vines. We had to go inside the wine barn to pick out our snacks We chose crackers, cheeses, almonds, olives and dark chocolate. Our server gave us charcuterie boards and we arranged our snacks and enjoyed the wine. It was a wonderful afternoon with family. I really enjoyed their white wine

Such a beautiful tasting room in the middle of a vineyard. The owners have known us forever - they even remember we are from Texas and only visit once a year. The last time we went was Father's day 2023. We had a little table for 2 in the midst of the vineyard. They don't have a lot of wine to taste at one time, but the wines they have are fabulous. I hope you get to go when they have a white wine on the tasting menu.

Small and intimate tasting room. The 2 ladies working during this dreary Wednesday were a pleasant treat. The conversation was fun, the atmosphere was relaxed and the fresh flowers were an added touch. There is a small area with retail items and there was a relaxed lab named Cali hanging out in the doorway. The lack of signage had you first guessing where to go, but the seating area outside the doors were a clue of where to go for a sip. Small tasting fee for this location, but worth it. The next time we are in town we anticipate stopping again, tasting and bringing some wine home with us. Disappointed we didn't snatch up a few bottles at the time.

A small family run winery that makes fantastic wine. The Long family, Mom, Dad, Son and Daughter are running everything. Michael (son) is the head winemaker and really knows what he is doing and wants the wine to be and speak for itself. They produce some Italian varietals as well as Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and some blends. While they offer many great bottles, some highlights for me were: 2014 Farmhouse Blend was fabulous; a perfect marriage of Zin, Barbera, PS & Aglianico. 2012 Aglianico is dark with ripe berries; spicy, earthy and rustic. Just lovely. 2015 PS was spicy with dark berries, a touch of oak and good tannins. Amador Cellars needs to be on your must visit list for Amador County not just because their wine is great, but you can feel the pride and love that the Long Family puts into it.

If you found my review helpful, please like it . We loved Amador Cellars. This is one of the places in which we would recommend to all my friends and family. The wines were awesome ... so awesome that we signed up to be wine members. We have been to Amador Cellars twice and they've been consistent on the quality. This place would be great for those who enjoy and collect wine.

The barrel room here doubles as the tasting room. They are in a rustic "barn" with amazing Tuscan farmstead ambience. In the heat of the summer the concrete walls provide a refreshing place to stop in for great wine, views and people. I have been coming back for years, and this winery is one of the most consistent with quality and unique taste. They have remarkable, peppery Zins. These are distinctly different from Sonoma an Napa Zins. I favor these due to their pronounced fruit and complex flavor. They also make a great Barbera. If Amador wine country had to be captured in one place, this would be it!

Bluegrass at the 12th anniversary party. Awesome!

By my standards, and I can only assume for myself that my wine standards are high and matter, Amador Cellars is the hands down best winery in the county and the region. This beautiful place, with smart, helpful and more than gracious staff, sets a high standard for deep, delicious, complex award winning red wines. Whenever I visit I feel that I am visiting wonderful friends and family. Thank you Amador for all you do; you make my world a better place!

Great dogs http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/pdp3SM8PHGfjwlHzRT27Ow?select=prCvDQLVcuos0R61Xosc1g Tasted what they were pouring. Rhone/Italian style wines 6 Zins were all too spicy or peppery for my palate. That's just me. I love spicy and pepper in my food, just not in my wine. I am sure these were really good for people who like that style of zin. Barbera had a nice balance and I thought it equal to Cooper Winery Barbera. Syrah was surprisingly spicy, so I didn't want it. Bunkhouse Red was very tasty for an everyday red at $17.

In my opinion, they are doing so many things to enhance the wine tasting experience, it could blow away the competition. Examples are as follows: 1. Rebuilding, refinishing and updating the tasting room and facility. 2. Hiring the former Sous Chef from Taste restaurant to create food offerings/pairings and provide a small bite sample with wine tasting. 3. Display unique and unusual art in and around the property. (They have seven full size panels from the Berlin Wall adjacent to the tasting room.) 4. Staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. 5. The wine pricing is reasonable when compared to the quality. 6. Both the food and wine are excellent. That said, I think the one possible stumbling point could be their attempt to blend in their east coast sister wines and styles with this region. It might be an interesting idea, but I am uncertain people locally will appreciate or understand the effort. The Amador wine region is not Napa Valley, and I don't think it possesses the international appeal, notoriety or demographics that will support the concept of bi-coastal wines. In any event, we will return to further experience the ongoing evolution of this remarkable winery.

I made…read morereservation in advance by email because no one answered the phone and no option to leave a message. When I got there, they didn't have my name for reservation. I had to show them the email confirmation. It was fine and we were still able to sit down right away. The inside wine tasting room is kind of small but the outdoor patio and area makes up for it. It is quite big and open. I think someone can host an outdoor concert or a wedding. We got to taste about five type of wines (Sauvignon Blanc and few blended red wine). They were all good. I particularly like the 2020 Interlude and purchased a bottle for my sister. We also got to sample from their gallery collection library club that's like 20+ years old ( I forgot the exact year) and that was special. They also have dumplings and spring rolls for purchase. I skip that because I wasn't sure if that would go with the wine. We bought some cheese with us and we had that with our wine. Of course, we asked for permission before bringing in our own cheese and crackers. The gentleman that served us was really nice and friendly. We didn't feel rushed and wine was poured at a good pace. I do want to mention that most winery at Amador will comp at least one tasting with purchase, but not at Di Arie. If you're not a member, be prepared to pay the full wine tasting fee per person.

It's a Terri blend of Cab Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Syrah and Primitivo! The host and hostess were all very friendly and knowledgeable! And of course to meet and chat with the wine maker himself, Chaim, was a wonderful treat! The grounds were small, but very cute and relaxing. It made for a warm, friendly ambiance! Of course we walked away with a case of the Sierra and the 3 OG vintage wines! We're definitely coming back in a few weeks. Thank you Di Arie!

Apparently, this is the related winery to Villa Toscano located nearby, which we had previously visited. Once again, I found myself a fan of this place also! It too, is surrounded by eye pleasing countryside views, with lovely ponds, fountains, flowers and comfortable seating areas along the outdoor patios. The entrance opens into a large room where the tasting counter is at the far end. But before getting there, you are tempted on the way over to browse the retail area which features home decor, artwork, designer accessories, and clever wine connoisseur gifts. The walls are decorated with assorted flags and a family style crest over the focal point of the wine tasting bar. The wines offered on the wine tasting list were similar to what we had tried before at Villa Toscano. But we ordered another $5.00 flight that included our favorites along with a few we hadn't tried yet. We enjoyed the flavor variations, but had a hard time deciding on what to purchase, so we went outside for a while to take in the scenery and discuss which ones we liked the best. Bella Piazza also offers a wine club membership that includes discounts on wine, other products and a free lunch buffet every weekend.
