Stopped for the food cuz hungry. Saw the sign from the road. The Bistro's selections are sandwiches, salads, pizzas and deserts. We ordered two sandwiches, the tri tip bbq was very tender and flavorful. While the bbq had a sweet tangy flavor on a brioche roll. I had their pastrami and cheese not sure what kind of cheese. This is what is pictured. One negative for me is it had mayonnaise which I am not a fan of. Otherwise very lean meat and the fries!! So yummy! No catsup need. Even crispy when cooled down. The tasting room is nicely decorated. While most people tried a few wines they then bought a bottle, which Tracy put in a bucket of ice along with glasses which they then took back outside. They have lots of seating with a covered patio along with other tables with umbrellas for a more intimate experience. Arranged around a few man made ponds they were in the process of cleaning up the reeds. So I didn't see and running water features. But from the patio you could see the hills with some of the vineyards. Our wine tastings, served by Tracy who was very knowledgeable about what she is serving along with answering our questions she also provided us with a map of the wine area along with suggestions for our next stops. We did ask for specific varietals we like to enjoy. My husband and I tried the reds. 6 different ones for each of us so in all we tried twelve and bought three. The wines were aromatic with lots of options, and for the red tasting you can pick 6 wines out of 14‼ My favorite was the Old Vine Zinfandel, and if you like Cabernet, I definitely recommend the Barbera. :) The food was amazing too! The French fries were honestly some of the best I've ever had. I also loved the relaxed Napa style vibe (you get that Napa feeling at half the price), and the dog friendly patio was perfect! Great wines, beautiful property, and the perk of a bistro onsite too. We tasted six wines--a mix of red, white, and sweet. All were good but I had some clear favorites. My dad is a member so tastings were complimentary; also comp'ed if you purchase a bottle. Loved the red barbera and reserve port (which was not as sweet as the house port). We sat at a lovely spot near the water and didn't have to wait long for our pizza and French dip. So nice to have food available right there. Now I know why this is my dad's fav (and he knows wine well) plus worth the hour+ drive from Lincoln to Plymouth. read more

What we received was far short that our anticipation. No greeting, no attentive service. Staff appeared under prepared and I do believe Erika deserved better. Very beautiful winery with a large selection of wines to taste. They also have 6 white wines you can taste as well. The fact they have a bistro onsite that offers french fries just makes it my favorite winery! Most wineries only have nuts, cheeses, fruits etc but the bistro has pizzas, tri tip sandwiches, onion rings and etc. The outdoor area is amazing. A perfectly delightful assemblage of buildings, gardens, and outdoor spaces... it was unfortunate that the temperature was 109 degrees, too. We have a bottle of their wine that we got as a gift and haven't tried yet, but then comes with high accolades. Primarily, we came for an afternoon 'snack'. Due to the weather, very few people were here. There's a separate building from the wine tasting room for a small deli type cafe, without any indoor seating. There's a large outdoor tent for dining and events, and we waited there for a grilled chicken sandwich wne a salad. Staff was friendly and gave us napkins and utensils to take the meal off site to our hotel, where we could eat at a decent temperature. We'll go back when the weather is better and explore the other parts of this place, including a wine tasting. read more

Walk up order which is fine. We ordered fish and chips x 2. The young lady that took our order was not friendly at all, but not mean. Just not well versed in customer service one on one. We take our number, find a seat. Got a bottle of wine to share. The tasting room service and the wine we got were both excellent. However, our food came out, a plate with fish, fries, and coleslaw. No silverware. I asked the person who brought our food out if we could get silverware, which coincidentally was the same person that took our order. She said sure and left. She never came back. My husband had to go back to where we ordered and ask for silverware and she looked at him like she'd never seen him before. The coleslaw was decent. The fries were decent, came with little packets of ketchup (super tacky) The fish was way undercooked, the batter on the outside look crispy, but it was still gooey next to the fish. It came with little packets of malt vinegar. Our dog was with us, and she even turned her nose up to the fish. The ambience is beautiful, the tasting room is beautiful and the wines are decent. Visited with friends. Four are members. When you are a member, you can partake in the pasta & salad buffet Fri. And Sun. You can bring 3 friends. We had a group of 12. The pasta buffet was good, and we bought desserts to share. There is also heartier food you can purchase. The drive up is scenic, and the grounds are even more so. Very serene with an Italian villa vibe. We got there at 11 am. By noon, the parking was filling up. I bought 2 bottles of red for hubby; miners blend 2020, Montepulciano 2019. I was not allowed to use a friend discount, but they signed me up for a member for a day. Saved me about 40%. Hubby said wine was good. Will be back. Staff was very friendly. Drive is beautiful no matter the direction you come from, enjoy the wild flowers in the Spring, the rolling golden hills in the Fall and the shade the trees provide in the Summer heat. Parking is easy. Seating area is nestled between ponds with fountains that keep the bugs at bay. From the parking area, tasting room is to the left, bistro is to the right. They appropriately played Josh Groban while we were seated. Tasting was $20 but was discounted if a bottle was purchased. Visited this winery while looking for wineries that were open this week between Christmas and New Years and so glad we did. We love wines on the sweeter side and maybe that's not everyone's palette but it worked great for us. The lady who helped us was very welcoming, very caring, and understanding and made us feel good. She went out of her way to help us with wines we would like and took the extra steps to get us the wines we liked the most. She was informative and friendly and because she went out of her way, we became wine club members. The wine itself was wine we were looking for and they had great wines at fantastic prices. What we enjoyed here as well is that there is small restaurant on site which you can enjoy your wine with and this is something we were looking for within a good proximity of EDH. I currently have a few wine club memberships mostly in Napa area, but now finding this gem, I canceled one over there and got this one which makes more sense form a distance perspective and a good wine selection we will enjoy. read more

Wow this place was amazing. The white wine we ordered was 10/10 and the pizza we ordered also 10/10. The scenery also was 10/10. After arriving in the tasting room we were able to taste a couple of wines before deciding which bottle we wanted to purchase for our table so this service was nice and extremely helpful for us to buy something we enjoyed. Some tables needed cleaning as we walked outside but we managed to find one that we just put the dirty plates on another dirty table. read more

I recently made a visit to Tuscano winery because a friend of mine said the wine was fantastic and their Chef, Chef Sam was a fantastic cook. Well, I will say that they were completely right. The food was so good and chef Sam dis a phenomenal job. What a treat that was. Keep up the great work!! as far as the wine is concerned, I can still taste the wonderful flavors that I got from the wines and they're Awesome wine pourer, Dan. The only complaint I have for such an elegant place with a beautiful atmosphere, they had an employee from the bistro that walked around with a hat on a cell phone in hand, and an AirPod in one ear and his pants sagging as well. We ordered a side and fries, which was properly reflected on our receipt. upon receiving our food she said "we don't hand out free food you have to pay to eat here." We showed her our receipt and replies "your fries charge has a 0 charge therefore you did not pay and we are not giving you your fries." It is not our fault that the service here does not know how to properly ring up food. Instead of refusing to provide a product that we wanted, she should have remedied the situation in a respectful manner. Recommend firing her. P.S. the wine is vile. We became members this last year and enjoyed the wines, but the customer service is lack luster at best! I have visited this winery for many years previously and recently moved to the area, so we jumped at the opportunity to become members. The next month, their sister winery permanently closed. So, now the perk of have 2 wineries is instantly gone. Now, every time we come for a shipment or tended to (if you can even call it that)...have been terrible. They might as well just lay everyone off and make the winery a self serve, at least their customers would be happy again. The back office pickup is beyond rude, the wine tenders stand around talking and do not help the long line of customers and just don't care anymore. I was at the bar once for 10 minutes watching 4 employees help 3 guests when many others were just waiting for a hello. I recently picked up my shipment and proceeded to hand my license over (as I know my name and address are difficult) and the old lady gave me a rude stare and proceeded to ask me what my name was, how to spell it and verify my address...HEEELLLOOO Mcfly! I am NO rocket surgeon, but I do know that in order to keep a business running, you need to listen to your customers. Clearly, this winery has jumped off into the deep end with no life preservers! The food is not discounted for members and the wine is now meh. It's just too much trouble to go through with them and really tired of seeing sad employees mopping around so I just cancelled. It's so sad because this winery is clearly going through its worst time and won't be around much longer, so this would be the time to kick up the service a ton of notches. You can also see that they ONLY respond to positive reviews and do not address the negative ones. There are many other better wineries with excellent customer service, go there! Follow-up...3 emails and 1 call later, finally cancelled my membership. Again, go elsewhere and save yourself the trouble! read more

Positives: great place for some lunch. Tri-tip sandwiches were very good. Pizzas were pretty good as well. They offer a buffet under the tent, but not so great food, I would definitely go inside and order food from their deli. Negatives: why am I talking so much about their food but not their wine, after all this is a winery right? Well that's the problem there is a reason why they only have a three star rating in an area with over 40 wineries, their wine is only good to eat with their food. I don't believe their wine can stand in its own. I suggest eat lunch here and drive up the road 2 min to Jeff Runquist Winery.
