It is now September 13th late afternoon. Luckily my lender told me that the underwriters were delaying closing because the insurance Natalie found is not compatible with the lender. You would think this would've been caught by experts in insurance. I had to cancel and work with another home insurance broker. Cancellation of my annual premium with Natalie will take a month. Highly recommend going with other brokers in the region like directly with State Farm. Quoted and signed in 2 hours and they made sure the insurance would work with my specific lender..

At first, they were super responsive and helpful, but since 2020, it has gone downhill. I purchased a new home in 2020 in El Cajon. The delay in creating a new homeowners policy almost held up my closing. Since that time, every change to my auto policy has been met with dread. While there is a long list of things to mention, the most recent is that I placed a milage update to my policy in early April that has still not been processed ($400/yr savings). I have been advised it is in process, but does it really take over 2 months to complete? It also took 10 days to get a quote on a new car (after 3 emails and 2 phone calls). It has now been 12 days since the new car was purchased (and 3 emails) and it is still not covered. I called last Friday to speak with Brook Daly directly. I was advised he does not take customer calls. I demanded a call, but have not heard from him. I spend over $10,000/annually for my policies and expect that thing will be handled timely and correctly. I also expect that the Agent in charge is available for issues and to speak with customers at their request. Save yourself the hassle and use another Allstate agency if you want their coverage. I just switched to an agent in El Cajon since it is obvious my business is not valued here.

I have been fighting a month+ long battle with my flood insurance agency and former agent. Everyone was doing behind the curtains stuff and never helped/even told me what was going on. He sat down with me and explained EVERYTHING to me and helped me understand what my former agent did wrong. He helped me organize my current insurance (not even through farmers) and helped me set up how to switch that over to farmers. In addition, he also saved me a tremendous amount of money by giving me names for land surveyors to do my elevation certificate.
