While shopping for health coverage for my recent college graduate kid and my not yet Medicare covered wife was not so easy, not a lot of agents want to handle individual health coverage. I happened into the Hayek Insurance Agency and all I can say is wow! Dealing with Roger Hayek was nothing short of outstanding. We were about to choose a plan on the Covered CA website, which as it turns out would have resulted in higher out of pocket expenses for us. Mr. Hayek took his time, did his research, ran the numbers, called back when he said he would, and had the exact information we needed tailored to our specific situation with an eye toward future possibilities. He was also able to explain in detail, without getting into the weeds, the reasons behind his approach. As stated we have been on auto pay for 20 years and because of their negligence they messaged me 17 days into january to make the payment(even tho the policy was already cancelled and i was told by her higher up that she shouldve handled the occurence with blue shield instead of emailing me) i lost my policy number with my free 999 refills costing me over $299,700 based on my new co payment in the picture(s) below.
