I used to go to this office exclusively for a while. Dr. Seay is an excellent dentist and really makes you feel comfortable. Her office is state of the art and she's great about walking you through what's going on with your treatment and why. Others may not, but I appreciate this time to understand why or why not a procedure, surgery, etc... is needed. She uses digital cameras and photos to show you one tooth vs another so you become a part of the process. I definitely recommend Dr. Seay personally, she's excellent. I still live in Park West but I no longer go to this office and I'll tell you why. After a visit and a recommendation to see an oral surgeon about having a tooth removed, I did. I went to Dr. Maltezos for a consult and it was recommended that a particular tooth be removed and an implant be put in. I wasn't opposed to this, but at the time, the tooth wasn't causing a problem and I was in-between jobs with no dental insurance or extra money to pay for such an expensive procedure. I had a family friend who had been my dentist for years look over the x-rays and his suggestion was that there was no immediate problem so there was no issue with waiting. Months later, I was having some sensitivity and needed a cleaning anyway. I came in to find that Dr. Seay had taken leave (I think for a few months) so I was informed that I would be seeing a different dentist. It turns out, my dentist for the day was Dr. Maltezos wife. I told her about the sensitivity in that tooth, which had actually passed, and wasn't bothering me. She pretty much scolded me after looking at her husbands recommendation and asked me "why is this tooth still in your mouth?". Um, maybe because I wasn't ready to have a tooth permanently taken out that wasn't causing me any problems and was going to cost thousands of dollars that I didn't have... that's a start. She then belittled every response I had and just ruined my experience there. It truly felt like she was just trying to push business onto her husbands office. I never ended up going back. I went to another dentist who agreed that the best tooth to have is the one that's in your mouth. I would have stuck with that dentist, but there was an insurance issue. I've now moved on to another office and actually had a new consult for the tooth. It finally started causing a problem almost 3 years later. I ended up eventually having the tooth out, which I mentioned, was my goal eventually, but I was able to do it under my own terms and when I had my insurance back in place to help defer the cost. Part of me wanted to knock this review down lower because of how my experience took such a 180, but Dr. Seay doesn't deserve that. She really is a great dentist. The office isn't cheap, but they're not sparing a single expense when it comes to the most up to date and top of the line equipment. Park West Dentistry is a great office, but I would never see Mrs. Dr. Maltezos again. read more

Let me begin this review by saying that this place is much more than your average dentist office. They do billing a tad differently than other offices. They do take insurance but they're not an "in network" provider. Feel free to call and they can discuss what that means. That being said, I have a very cavity-prone mouth. Whether it's my ph, soft teeth, etc. I just used to get cavities all the time in my adult life. And other offices were more than happy to charge me an exorbant amount of money, fill each and every cavity, and send me on my way. And it would happen over and over and over. No matter how good my home hygiene was. I was referred to this office after a very unpleasant and expensive experience and another office that I won't name, and fillings were falling out. When you come here you walk into an extremely upscale office. More like a spa. There are tiny mouthwash bottles, toothbrushes, high end soaps, and actual hand towels in the restroom. You have your choice of beverages while you wait. Beyond that, you get a warm towel ok your neck while they work. They have movies and headphones for extensive appointments. They were able to fix my botched work, but more than that they actually gave me an anti-cavity plan. Who knew I didn't HAVE TO get cavities all the time. I have a specific toothpaste and rinse I use and I have been cavity free ever since coming here. They could have just not helped me with a preventative plan. It would have made them more money. And that's why I make the drive to continue my care here. They dont always go the cheapest way. They do always go the best way. read more

For several reasons I recently left a dentist I had been going to for 20 years. I thought I'd try Park West Dentistry because I know the Seay family and trusted that Dr. Amanda Seay would be honest and competent. After my initial visit I discovered (via photos taken of my teeth which had never been done before) that there were many problems caused by the incompetence of my previous dentist. Dr. Seay and her team made me feel cared for and comfortable during a frustrating time of having to fix those problems. Their technology, expertise and "bedside manners" were what I needed. This is by far the best experience I've had at the dentist, and on a scale of 1-10 my dentist anxiety is a 57! Dr. Seay and her staff are welcoming, professional, and extremely in tune with your wants and needs. They are by no means pushy and very informative. I can't recommend them enough! read more
