In business everyone is trying to survive. Loyal customers have followed you around from location to location. Yet your policies don't reflect that appreciation, in my opinion. You're trying to offer a membership.. the deal is not great. Most ppl don't tan every month, all year. $30 bucks a month is steep for a weak discounted tan plan that customers still have to shell out money for a "membership." The cancellation policy is a huge problem as well. You should absolutely let ppl reschedule if an appt can't be kept for illness, or funeral. I came down with a serious illness & she kept my whole payment. So unreasonable. I get you want to fill your appts, but that's just crazy. Would you rather ppl come sick & get your staff sick? You should charge $10 fee, providing they commit to a reschedule at the time of cancellation and stick to it. If they don't immediately book a reschedule, then keep their money. So u know you're getting paid, but that also shows that you're reasonable & you understand some things can't be helped. So many ppl have lost a lot of money over this & it's left a lasting negative impression that I've heard more than once. You're not the only business who has to feather their policies between themselves, and fairness to the customer. Is it worth the reputation of your business? Part of it is just the nature of business in general.. seems you expect perfection and it's simply unreasonable.

Not only is she the most knowledgeable, she's also incredibly caring of her clients. The salon is ALWAYS clean, you'll never have to worry about an un-sanitized bed at this location. The employees are helpful, friendly and personable. IF there's ever an issue with your experience Kristen will make it right. I have never had a problem at any CPT locations other than this one. I have been tanning with CPT for about 7 years now. I started with the 22 mile road location, moved to the Livernois location, and frequent the Mound location as I work out at the gym in the same plaza. Every time I go into the Mound location, I am strictly guided on what to tan in, amount of time, and bombarded with unnecessary questions. Again, I have been tanning for about 7 years and I know what levels I can do, how much time, lotions, etc. etc.. If I want to up my time for the bed by ONE minute, I should be able to do so. I understand if I wanted to make a jump like 5 minutes but ONE?? Not to mention that who I assume is the manager of the Mound location I have seen outside the salon on multiple occasions on her phone and smoking. I feel that doing that is a bad look for the company considering she is on the clock and wearing CPT apparel. I will never go back to this location. It is a shame to have to write this as I love CPT but that location is nothing but problematic. I will be sticking to my Livernois location from now on as they treat me like a human, and not just a person with a dollar sign over my head.
