If I could give six stars, I would!…read more After a sobering, poor experience with my nearby standby brow professional, I took a few months, let them grow out (seriously--I put those tweezers in an inconvenient place!), and started researching something near enough to Chelsea to make it convenient, and skilled enough to become a regular. Today I have found my people! After trying to find the front door for an address that is technically on Sixth Avenue, I called the shop and was told they would come downstairs to summon me in. Turns out the entrance practically shouts at you--but it's on 25th, just west of Sixth, on the north side. Look for their street sign and window displays, and walk right in! On a misty Tuesday at 11, I was offered a place to put my bag and coffee, and a kind woman patted the salon chair where I sat down. She removed whatever gunk I'd last put on my brows and bare face, gave the situation some consideration, and started threading. I did threading years ago, but never have I watched someone so quickly do the kind of shaping job this woman did for me in a matter of minutes. In a flash, my Andy Rooney wild growth was tamed and expertly-shaped, sans tint! I couldn't believe she could see my blond/red brows because they are completely *invisible* to me! I asked they be kept on the full side, and she agreed that would be good. She prepared a tint, and I leaned back for an uninterrupted 8 minutes. A wipe dry, then some touch up threading, et voila! I had brows I had never seen before! When I say they look like they were microbladed, I kid you not! The shape and color are killer, and I started to cry with happiness! I thought that after years of bad decisions and age I'd lost my brows--and SNS found them for me! The price is nice, and the salon airy, clean and bright--and you can hop over to Fairway and shop afterward, so what's not to like? I am now, officially, an SNS girl. I've pinged my girlfriends, who are all eager to try it, too. I have been to some of the most spendy corporate and privately-owned brow salons in Gotham, but SNS has bettered them all by far. They've made me confident I can expect nothing but great service on my very challenging brows from now on. I'll be trying their other services soon, too! Thank you SNS!
