After passing it numerous times, I decided to explore one of their lunch options. Spinach Patty: Initially, I was reluctant to try a vegetarian patty. Jerk Chicken Lunch: The chicken was tender and juicy with a mild kick. The outer skin was seasoned perfectly. Also included were two miniature cups of jerk sauce (not pictured). The reddish colored dip was great for dipping the chicken, rice & peas and even the spinach patty. I was grateful the sauce was not poured over the meal; then it would have dried up. The indoor dining area is limited to high top counters and a few outdoor dining tables. Island Spice does not have their own parking lot, but plenty of parking is available on local side streets. There is also a free municipal parking lot a few blocks away.
