The management team has changed and Michelle in management fit right in with the former team. Her beautiful personality, her smile and her professionalism makes you feel like you're her family. With everything I need to report, repair, replace or even just a sit down for a minute and let my hair down with her is a blessing that she is around. She is genuinely bubbly and welcoming to all. I can't leave out my maintenance team led by Dave. He makes sure the job is done and done well. No short cuts. He is very approachable, especially with the kids. I attempted to put my 11 year olds grandsons bike together. After it broke down a bit, Dave had no problem helping and teaching him each step it took to fix the problem. Who does that? Dave does. The Cranbury community is well groomed, the amenities are the best and did I say I lived here for 5 years and still in love? Thank you Michelle, Dave and the rest of the staff at Cranbury Crossings, East Brunswick for making my residence, Home!!!

First off, the on site management and maintenance are very nice and helpful people. Our issue was with the property management company and their response when our A/C unit failed over the course of two summers. The first summer we spent in the apartment, the A/C stopped cooling and the maintenance person was dispatched. He did something and the A/C worked ok the rest of the summer, but it didn't cool quite right and our bills were extremely high. Fast forward a summer later, and the A/C breaks again. This time a technician from the contractor they use is sent out, and tells us he had recommended the system be replaced a few years before. Clearly that didn't happen and the A/C just died. Over the course of four weeks management dithered in figuring out how to fix the problem. This was during July and the apartment was routinely in the mid 80's and humid. Despite repeated calls and requests to replace the unit from both us and the HVAC technician sent out, management did nothing. Eventually they put in another temporary replacement and we decided not to renew our lease. I can only feel terrible for whoever moves into our unit this summer.

The apartment had everything we needed (they even accommodated us with a more privately situated unit as our dog has never been in an apartment complex) but more importantly the staff here honestly cares about their community! I lived in many an apartment complex in my 20s and has never encountered one got fosters such a sense of community and honestly cares about their residents... even their temporary ones! Any need I had (dishwasher repair, package acceptance at the office, etc.) was handled immediately and followed up with me after completion to ensure I had no further needs. As my husband is immunocompromised, we were unable to participate in any of the monthly events that they offer however, they beyond events that they put on to bring the community together (yoga every week, bouquet making for Valentine's Day, trivia night with snacks, potting & painting, decorating a flower pot and planting a plant into it etc!) I've never experienced another apartment complex that even has these types of events much less puts so much thought into them! The dog park on property was clutch as our dog is not used to having to be on a leash all the time ... so having an area where she can romp around and play was amazing! They also have plenty of grassy areas to walk within the property and dog waste bag dispensers all over the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and And cannot say enough about the staff , their communication, friendliness, and caring! 100% would stay here again in a heartbeat!

ZERO parental supervision, total hazard to drive around. Throwing stuff playing catch close to parked cars, and I've witnessed them intentionally damage a car. Seen one urinating in a bush, seen them play basketball with dumpsters, jumping in and out of the dumpsters to retrieve the ball. Don't rent here if you care about your car, they're ALWAYS throwing stuff around cars. I don't care how light the ball is, cars are expensive and their parents sure aren't paying for any damages. Generally all happens between 4pm and 8pm, so of course whatever management or leasing agents aren't ever here to stop it. I don't know who the kids are or which building or apartment they live in, so I can't specifically complain. The parents already aren't watching the kids, so why not just tell them go to the park next door instead of constantly letting them be in danger in the street and letting them damage their neighbors property? But you tell me, would you want to live with this? I doubt it. I can't wait to get out. Management, please tell these neglectful parents to actually pay attention to their children and not let them loose in the parking lot/street. I have videos of them throwing stuff around cars and pictures of them in the dumpsters, but I think google is censoring me when I try to post them. This is my third attempt to post this review.

Glue comes through the seems and the tiles peel off. My biggest problem was finding bed bugs in the 2nd bedroom right before the holidays which was nightmare. We called saying we saw some bugs and before maintenance came to check what it was we were held a piece of paper to treat for bed bugs which I found odd because they had not confirmed that's what it was. We went through 3 treatments the entire month of December which ruined our holidays as we could not put up a Christmas Tree, any decorations or celebrate Christmas. We had to live out of garbage bags for 6 weeks as we went through treatment which was a complete nightmare and dispose of personal belongings and furniture. When asked for compensation to help with some of our losses we were denied. After the 3rd treatment we were told we were bed bug free and didn't see anything for about 1 month, now they are reappearing in the same areas which makes me believe the apartment was not treated correctly the last 3 times. This has been the worst experience of my life and would not wish this on anyone.

My heat went out for 2 months straight. They are refusing to fix it. 5 maintenance requests + many phone calls to get it taken care of. They pretend to address it, with no results. Imagine waking up every day in 50 degrees. I honestly feel bad for my cat more than anything. Fast forward to Summer time (thank god no more cold nights !!). My A/C does not work, who would've guessed ... I've been asking for an ADDITIONAL 2 months now for this to be addressed. I get calls and emails saying it will be looked at, but no result yet again. Work orders get opened by me, and closed by them with no resolution - it's like a game to them. I have been living in a 85 degree home for nearly 2 months now. Maintenance finally entered my apartment yesterday and at least acknowledged the issue with a note "returning tomorrow to fix". Thank you for the acknowledgement 2 months later ! Tomorrow comes and goes, nothing was fixed. It looks like they re-entered my apartment and installed a cute little window unit - thanks for the effort. No response from my several emails sent out yesterday or today. No note from maintenance with an update. Just a little window unit that does not keep up whatsoever, meanwhile the emergency maintenance phone line says "sorry we're closed until July 6th Monday". It is July 2nd Thursday ... I have been trying to fix this for 2 MONTHS and cannot even speak with anyone to get an update for an additional 4 days. It is currently 90 degrees and climbing in my apartment. STAY AWAY. If I get a hotel, will they reimburse me ?? Absolutely not, don't even bother trying. These people have no remorse. I've paid on time for YEARS, and fix all little issues BY MYSELF just to not inconvenience or bother anyone (there's a lot of those little issues unfortunately, since they don't really recondition their apartments well). What is the reason for this treatment ?? I truly don't understand. Meanwhile my A/C (or heat in the winter) has been running and running trying to keep up, but never does. My electric bill has been astronomical because of this for the last few months. I am tired of being ignored. Keep in mind, this is my second experience with unlivable conditions with this company. I was already transferred out of my old unit and into this one, just to battle another ongoing issue in the new unit. I hate to point fingers, but Holly - you are a terrible manager. After doing some…read moreresearch, I was really impressed by how the Crossings looked - the apartments appeared to be slick and revamped, and everyone was really helpful and nice over the phone. We decided to sign a one year lease, and I'm super glad we did! Our experience was very positive and I would definitely recommend the Crossings to anyone else looking to grab an apartment in the area. First, our apartment was just as nice as expected - no bait and switch here. The kitchen had a significant amount of counter space for a 1 bedroom apartment, all of the appliances were brand new (we were overjoyed to have a working dishwasher after our previous apartment failed in that regard), and everything was clean. The location is awesome as well! You have access to trails right outside of your apartment so you can go for a walk or run and enjoy some nature immediately. In general, everything is very well maintained - I always enjoyed the view of the trees across the horizon when first entering the apartment complex. Plainsboro is not a super exciting place to live, but at least the Crossings is very close to the town center, so you can walk and grab some frozen yogurt or something if you want. Maintenance, in general, was responsive and did a good job. Although we never really used it, there's a pool which is quite nice. The exercise room is pretty small and doesn't have a lot of equipment, but at least it was usually pretty empty (at least when I looked). Downsides? I kind of hate large speed bumps, and the ones in the Crossings are pretty gnarly. It makes sense, though, because there are a ton of families that live there, so you have lots of kids running and biking around. They're trying to crack down on kids playing in the parking lots, but I can't imagine they'll have a huge amount of success on that :) Overall, I would highly recommend the Crossings to anyone looking to rent an apartment in Plainsboro!

When i moved out i got a piece of paper from them asking to give them a 5 stars, i honestly will…read moregive them -3 stars and here's why: 1) When i was applying for this apartment complex MG was my point of contact and it was very difficult trying to get a hold of her if i had any questions during the application process. It would take her forever to get back to me. When i was finally ready to sign all the paperwork and get the keys i asked her if we could do it another day and see if she could accommodate and she flat out told me NO. 2) When i was signing my paper work they told me that would not provide me blinds for the sliding door of my patio and i had to pay out of pocket to either get an outside company to install them for me, pay around $100 for them to source and install the blinds for me or i can just buy the blinds myself and pay them $50 to install them for me THIS BY FAR IS JUST A HUGGGEEEEEEEEE SCAM BY THEM!!!!! I just decided not to have blinds on my patio and just live with it 3) As for my unit itself that i was living in, i knew right away that i made a mistake living there and regretted my decision immediately. Looking back at it now, i realized that the carpet in my unit has very dingy and old and should have been replaced before i moved but for some reason management did not decide to do this (I'm very salty about this because in the unit next to me management replaced the carpet in the unit before the new tenets moved in.) They just shampooed my carpet and shampoo carpet machine that they used did not did a very good job cleaning my carpet. My carpet looked exactly the same before they shampooed it. 4) Also my unit had no insulation and the walls were very thin thus in the wintertime it would get very cold and i was just wasting money with heating because my unit was not built very well and all the hot air was just slowly escaping from my unit. The water pressure coming out of my sink and shower was not very strong and my dryer would take forever to dry my clothes. If i had a lot of clothes to dry i would run it like 2-3 to dry my clothes. 5) Like every one else on here dealing with the maintenance department was a HUGEEEEEEEEEEE PAIN IN THE A$$. I had issues with the water heater in my unit, it was starting to not work anymore and speaking/dealing with Connie to get someone to my unit to fix my water heater was more difficult than pulling teeth. I would leave voicemails in the maintenance phone line and no one would respond back to me, i learned a trick where you just had to dial the the number and just hang up (to avoid leaving a voice mail) until Connie or someone else would eventually pick up your call. To their credit they eventually did fix it but i was just one big hassle fixing it. At first they just kept making sure the pilot light did not extinguish then after the third visit they finally just replaced the heating unit parts and eventually it was finally fixed after that. 6) like every one else kept saying on here the management would just pile on fees on all the tenets like they just don't care. The pool was never open when i wanted to use it and the clubhouse itself was just an afterthought. Management would not and will not spend money to renovate it and make it look better. Of course, my access card would not work to enter the clubhouse and like i explained above trying to contact the maintenance/management team was a HUGGEEEEEE PAIN IN THE A$$ so i avoided using the pool and the clubhouse at all. Even like the landscaping or just general upkeep of the grounds of this place is very dingy and drap and awful and i'm convinced management /maintenance just do not care at all. In conclusion, DO NOT MOVE HERE AT ALL, AVOID THIS PLACE / DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT OR CONSIDER MOVING HERE.
