Oh how I wanted to love this restaurant. My friend highly recommended it. My experience wasn't that great. My issues were with the service and ambiance mostly. The food was the saving grace. I am neutral about the ambiance. One part of the restaurant dining room section has a cool seating area. It's feels very Asian inspired with the decor and seating. The other half looks like a normal restaurant. There were dirty tables that needed to be cleaned from the lunch crowd. Service was a turn off. I paid for a dinner portion. They gave me lunch instead. I notified the owner and she quickly fixed it. The girl at the register wasn't friendly. She seemed to have a bad attitude. I didn't feel welcomed and the customer service needs improvement. The food was tasty so that was good. I really enjoyed the Koong Houm Pa. It was truly delicious and unique. It's fried shrimp and chicken stuffed and wrapped in egg roll shell. It's served with plum sauce. 5 STARS The combination drunken noodles with beef and shrimp was a good choice. The portion is huge (dinner) and I loved the bell peppers and bean sprouts. Presentation and ambiance was beautiful (see piggy plate, cakes, others photos of booths). Spring roll definitely made fresh, and the sauce was light, sweet and tangy.... so very good. Our waitress was very sweet, topping up my water no ice and even being mindful of the ice from the pitcher. The taste of everything did not disappoint one bit. We ate there and sat a a booth, they had a couple tables as options too. Service was effective, checking on us often. We ordered Thai teas and crab cheese Amarin (wow this appetizer is a must) both were excellent. My wife had crazy noodles and I had drunken noodles. We ordered a pad Thai with steamed tofu and chicken extra extra spicy, tom yum fried rice with chicken and a drunken noodle with scallops and chicken and an order of the crab cheese Rangoon. The order would take about 10 minutes. Total bill is $36.25. The food was all ready when we arrived. They sell bags of the shrimp crackers for $2. The crab Rangoon tasted okay, the wonton was a bit too thick and not crispy at all. The cream cheese was good, not much crab it in at all though. It's a cheese wonton. I would rate it about a 2-3. The Tom yum fried rice isn't bad, I can definitely taste the lemon grass. It has the mushrooms and tomatoes in it as well. It's the lemon grass that makes this dish. It was a solid 4. The pad Thai is decent, not hot at all. It okay flavor, but was rather dry. It was about a 3. The drunken noodle is probably the most bland that dish I have ever eaten. It tasted like some rice noodles with some veggies, scallop and protein. It was tasteless. I added more Thai chili and some sriracha to give it a bit more flavor, albeit not quite the right flavor. I know this is the drunken boo felt but the noodles are over cooked and a tad mushy to eat too. They don't have any chewiness. Not carb worthy. I ate the tofu, chicken Thai basil and veggies out of the drunken noodles. I would give it a 1-2. The better of the 3 items was definitely the Tom yum fried rice with the chicken. I wouldn't order the other items from here again. read more

Yum! This is my favorite local Thai food restaurant. Unfortunately I didn't photograph my last order, but I ordered the tom yum fried rice, drunken noodles, crab rangoon, shrimp egg rolls, and colorful chips. The service here is always friendly and they are usually busy with call-in orders, which gives you a clue about how good they are. The restaurant is very cute. I am disappointed with the Pad Thai. It tasted dry like it was sitting around waiting for an order. Tom Yum soup is less than stellar this time. The garlic rice was even bland, almost no garlic and light of the volume. Even the spice on the side wasn't spicy. The PadTai and Garlic Rice used to come in a full half container that has more food than the full container with three sections, so it is less food. This place is near where I work so I eat here quite often. The food tastes great. I've had various spice levels and their extra hot is EXTRA HOT! I haven't tried a lot from the menu but my go to is the Drunken Noodles. If anyone has been thinking of getting it, it is a decent meal. I usually get mine hot. Incredibly delicious food here. I stumbled onto them while looking for another place that was only doing takeout I'm glad that I did! I've been back again and my second visit was equal to the first. Excellent food in generous portions. The staff is super friendly and the turn around on ordering to getting one's food is second to none. The second time I was pressed for time but I felt they'd get my food out with plenty of time to eat it and they did not disappoint, even though they were much busier than before. At least as far as their Pad Thai goes, yep: five stars, as I don't think that I have found better in this area. Are there other good Pad Thais available from other places? Of course, but this one hits all of the important places in my mouth, has terrific depth of flavor, and is priced very competitively. I had it today, to-go, during the Coronavirus crisis, so I had to eat it in my van, and while that clearly is *not* the way to best enjoy it, it was still good, completely devoured, and of the same high quality that it always is. I do think that the serving size to-go was smaller than it is when I've ordered it for dine-in purposes, but it was still good enough for lunch. For $9, it was enough for lunch and a bit more for later. I enjoyed it, but I enjoy it *far more* when I'm able to go inside, relax, spread out a bit, spread the peanut, lime juice, and bean sprouts evenly among the entree, and get table service...not to mention the free soup preamble. Which is so great! The food always comes out quick and hot if you dine in. Staff is all great. I came here with Mike G. from Columbus last night for dinner, and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I don't eat Thai food a lot, but when I do, it's a treat. The menu has tons of options, and the prices are spot on. I was torn between two separate dishes, but ended up going with the #50, the Siam Chicken. Mike went with the Shrimp Pad Thai with the Thai Spicy option. It took a minute for our food to come out, but we got huge servings. I was impressed with the amount we got, because sometimes you just never know. We tried each others dishes and both were actually really good. I had forgotten that Mike had ordered his food spicy, so when I ate it, the heat crept up on me. The food was really super good though. My food was almost like sweet and sour chicken, and it was more then enough for me to take home leftovers. The place isn't super fancy, but it really is a nice place to go an eat. The fresh rolls with peanut sauce are excellent, I would make a stop here just for these because they use fresh cilantro and basil and the peanut sauce which just delicious. I then ordered pad sei ew and I was utterly disappointed because your supposed to come with wide noodles and this came with skinny pad Thai noodles, the sauce wasn't sweet, or even there, and I also I asked for medium plus and I wanna say it was mild at best. All in all if you go here if the fresh rolls and be disappointed other dishes you might read more

Probably the best Thai restaurant in Warren, MI! Our order's normally their crab cheese, masaman curry, and a noodle dish (pad see ew, drunken noodles or pad thai). They're all good. Amarin has the best crab cheese rangoon. I've tried many from other Thai restaurants and have been utterly disappointed. The only thing is - it's not spicy enough for me when we order it as "hot".
