    The incredible Zang! (ThankU)
    Enn Q.

I haven't been in this area for several years, but it was on the way back from an appointment, and I thought I'd look it up and there they were. It's changed hands management wise a couple times but the food did not fail.My waitress Zang, was absolutely precious.I have some arthritis in my hands. And they were really stiff, and I asked her if she would help me ladle out the soup & then pack my leftovers up for me. She was so gracious and kind, over& above the call of duty. The fresh shrimp rolls were fabulous.I had forgotten that they had the peanut sauce.I'd been getting them at another restaurant that's on my regular route, that has a sweet clear sauce. So when this came to the table, it threw me. I'm pretty sure when I visited several years ago,it was a lighter brown- it was fabulous! Bless her heart, Zang brought me a side of the clear sauce, too. The tom yum soup was terrific.Loaded with shrimp and shrooms, and you can see it's a good size portion. My bill was $20. You literally cannot beat that with a stick....so be kind to your wait staff and tip good!

I love this location, the food is great, quick, and the same as the Rochester location but much cheaper! My family always tries new dishes and we haven't been disappointed.

Positive experience, the cuisine was fresh and exceptionally flavorful. The service provided was outstanding. While the establishment may benefit from a slight renovation and ensuring the fish tank is clean upon entering, I would definitely consider returning due to the high quality of the food.

The best place to get Bangkok Chicken! Gotta have it with the shrimp chips. Wish I lived closer but used to go all the time when it was nearby. Went for dinner and had great service and even ordered some to go for my family and everything was timed correctly and although the order had many different spice levels everything came out as requested. Plenty of seating for dining in but also great for carryout.

It's funny, I don't eat Thai often, but since there seems to be a place on every corner nowadays, I guess I should start trying it out more often? With where I work, we have some dietary restrictions and it's easier to come here so everyone can join in and participate. This place is about 5 miles from the office, so off we went. They were able to accommodate our party of 12. which was fantastic. and yes, we called ahead to let them know about our arrival. The menu has lots of items to choose from, and their prices seem decent. Since there was 12 of us, I'm not going to list what everyone got because I'm not a waitress, and honestly, who really cares. But, I ended up getting the drunken noodles since I wanted an actual meal, even though some of their appetizers sounded fabulous. They have crab rangoon, and dang it, I LOVE crab rangoon! I ended up getting the drunken noodles that came with soup. I think it was hot and sour, but I'm not sure. I didn't really care for it that much, but I finished it since I was absolutely starving. My coworkers weren't fans either, so some didn't finish it. The drunken noodles were actually really good. My coworker shared her sampler plate and I ate all of her crab rangoons. They were fabulous! Overall, I really liked it here. While the inside isn't the most pizzazz in decor, the foods actually good. Service was great too. Thank you Bankok!

    Gyoza!

Gyoza and Bangkok chicken were great and tasty! The quantity of the Bangkok chicken was more than expected, which is always a great surprise. Our server on Labor Day 2022 was super nice and was definitely busy as the store was one of the few open today. Her attentiveness to our table even when it's busy earned my 5 star rating.

Do not order from here. We ordered medium heat and the food was not edible. Way too hot and Made my husband cough and choke.

Too hot. Restaurant not helpful. Ordered door dash and said I can go and have them fix. They refused saying, u get what u ordered. Do NOT order from here.

Nice work on the Thai tea packaging. 12.4.20

Still a 4-star spot for me, but it's 5 years later so I wanted to write an updated review. I ordered from them via Uber Eats about a month ago and everything was good, for the most part; however, even though they have mango sticky rice on their menu, they don't have it, except when it's in-season I believe. Fast-forward to today, and I wanted Thai food after my infusion, and the infusion center is also on Dequindre. I had a coupon all ready to go for Sy Thai, but I called them at 11:55am and they did not pick up ... both Sy Thai and Bangkok Cuisine open at 12pm, so I thought I'd give BC a try. They do not serve lunch portions on the weekends, so I got a dinner portion of the Pad Cashew, mild, with chicken, an individual spring roll (I LOVE that they offer individual portions! Very unusual), and a Thai iced tea. Total was about $15 and I think would have been like $17-18 at Sy Thai, even with lunch portions (spring rolls are about $4 there and I think you get two). They quoted me 15 minutes but I rolled in about 10 minutes after I called, and my order was already ready. The Pad Cashew was good although a little sweeter than Sy Thai's, for some reason. Huge dinner portions so I definitely have enough for another meal. I do agree with the reviewer on here who mentioned to go 1 level down for spice, as the mild was a little bit spicy (however, I have wonky taste buds, so take that with a grain of salt). The Thai iced tea was also very good, and spring roll came with some sort of clear dipping sauce sprinkled with peanuts. Overall, I do enjoy Bangkok Cuisine's food (and the parking lot is SO much easier than the RO's location), and I would order from them again.

Our food is always excellent and I like to try new things all the time. But we still have favorites. Appetizers. It's hard not to order the fried wontons, my spouse's favorite. We both enjoy the apple or papaya salad. And I'm a sucker for tum yum soup, theirs does not disappoint. Entrees we often enjoy traditionals like Pad See Ewe and Fried Rice. They are staples for a reason. But I've enjoyed trying many of Sue's recommendations. And I love a ground chicken dish she recommended served with lettuce cups and a fried egg. I wish I remembered the name. But it's one of her favorites. She will know! Be sure to ask for the Thai pickled lime and hot peppers condiment (upon request). My newest obsession is their Chicken Satay salad. It's fantastic. So fresh and delicious, not to mention gorgeous. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed. I can't tell you about dessert because we are always too full. But I'm determined to try her mango rice because I'm confident it will be amazing . If you have tried this place, it's worth a visit. We started with Old Fashioneds, which were very good, although it did take a while for our drinks to arrive. Our server was friendly and attentive, but they were clearly very busy, and there was a wait by the time we were leaving. For appetizers, we ordered both the Devil Goons--seafood rangoons made with Sriracha and ghost chili peppers--and the regular rangoons. The Devil Goons were excellent; I had never had spicy rangoons before, and it was a great twist. The regular rangoons, however, were just okay in comparison. I ordered the red curry and thought it was just alright. I asked for medium spice, which was tolerable, but it lacked the rich coconut milk and curry flavors I'm used to from other places. My friends ordered fried rice, and their portions were noticeably larger than mine. For a similar price point, the portion sizes felt inconsistent. That said, they really enjoyed the fried rice. Overall, it's a cool spot to check out and clearly very popular. If I return, I'd skip the red curry. I'd also recommend making a reservation if you're planning ahead.

The vegetables in both entrées tasted almost raw. The onions were still green and crunchy in a way that didn't seem intentional. The Pineapple Fried Rice was noticeably bland, especially compared to other Thai restaurants nearby, yet the prices were $3+ higher. Service didn't help the experience either. With only one other couple in the restaurant, it was surprising that our dishes came out in stages: first the rice, then the Honey Sriracha Chicken a few minutes later, and finally the Pineapple Fried Rice. It felt disorganized for a two-person table. The rice itself was clumpy, dry, and overcooked. It mushed together when scooped. The only beacon of light in this depressing meal was the Crab Rangoon, which actually tasted good, though they were still dripping oil as if they hadn't been drained properly after frying. To their credit, the interior was nicely decorated, clean, and the bathrooms were well stocked and well maintained. The final shock came at the register: the preset tipping options were 18%, 20%, and 30%. The buttons were so large and aggressive that I honestly felt that my brain short circuited at the sight. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place unless I hated the person. There are much better Thai options in the area for both quality and price point, like Bangkok Cuisine or Som Jai Thai Cuisine.

I ordered takeout, but I couldn't help but notice how cute the restaurant's interior was, with its tropical greenery decor. The staff was also incredibly friendly. I placed my order ahead of time, and the estimated wait was spot-on--no extra delays. I love a good Tom Yum soup, and this one did not disappoint.
