I get carry out often from Bangkok. The food is consistently good (especially the Bangkok Chicken). Great spring rolls too!

Drunken Noodle: paid for extra Thai basil, and it only had one piece of basil in the entire dish. Very little to the dish. Curry Noodle: was a mushy mess of just noodles and chicken. Didn't even have much chicken in it. Didn't taste like curry tasted more like fish. Shrimp Tom Yum Soup: soup contained one string of lemon grass, two shrimp and two mushrooms. Broth tasted OK. I had the entire meal delivered from DoorDash so I couldn't do anything about it after it arrived. The only reason I ordered from here was because there was a coupon for $15 off. read more

My go to for Thai food. I think ownership has changed a few times but the food is still very good.

Nice place- mediocre food It's handicap accessible- while there may be some tight turns. There is pickup or eat in. When you walk inside, you can seat yourself as an employee greets you. The radio is playing and since we went on a Sunday, it was pretty deserted. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating!! The hospitality was very nice! The sauce portions are appropriate to their names (light sauce, normal, heavy, etc) and same with the spice! The medium is pretty spicy so be careful if you've got sensitive taste buds! I ordered the pad se-ew with light sauce and was disappointed to see that it was burnt (picture shown). It definitely affected the flavor which was a bummer. When we told an employee about the burnt tofu, he offered to bring out more but I declined since I had already waited a bit for the food. The Thai iced tea was tasty and filling. I never had it before and the waitress offered a sampler which was a great size. I didn't order the full size drink because the sampler was plenty for me. The hot tea came in a little container that you could serve yourself by putting the container on top of the cup and push down. There are restrooms available for patrons but not for the public. The bathrooms are very clean!! Also, there are handicap stalls. read more

I just left that location. Been eating at Bangkok cuisines for 20 years across the area. I started eating at that specific location back when it was "Thai House" in 1980s. I got there at 11:10am. There was about two tables already sat. I asked the waitress (and who appeared to be in charge) if I would be able to have a seat near a plug so I could charge my laptop while I was eating. The lady said "we don't have plugs." I graciously countered and said "I gotcha, I'm not looking to work during lunch. I just need a little bit of a charge on my computer for when I'm done with lunch." She continued to say that they don't have plugs. The hostess was very nice and was appearing to offer to do something to help, but it was clear that the waitress who appeared to be calling the shots didn't want that happening and her tone was of rudeness. I was in no way rude in the beginning or at the end. I recognize electricity is not free. I recognize it's not an obligation for them to produce a plug. But it was necessary for me to be able to sit down for a few minutes to eat, and I chose to take my business elsewhere given her attitude. Just unfortunate that poor customer service led to this review. read more

Food is always good. Hot and sour soup good. Chicken rolls great, Pad Thai is really good also the Pad Taray.... Only two issues with this place. The Fish Tank you see walking in and from the inside. This place should be closed down for fish abuse. The fish tank is disgusting. Also, really need to work on doing a good cleaning on their bathrooms. Outstanding!!! Also love the crispy rolls and fresh rolls with shrimp! Really enjoy the food but have always ordered from DoorDash and I'm really bummed that I can no longer get free delivery with my Dash pass. Worst Thai food I've ever had, I always get pad ped and it's never not good until today. The sauce was salty greasy. The mushrooms tasted almost fishy and grimy. The chicken was rubbery and tasted bad and the white rice wasn't cooked all the way it was crunchy. Wing dings were giggly and doughy so I air fried them more. I first learned about this restaurant about 5 years ago, when a friend suggested to try it. I absolutely loved it back then, and I remember going back a couple of times after my first dine in experience! Now, I hadn't been here in a couple of years, but I was craving some good fried rice, and immediately thought about this place. So I went the other day, and ordered the Chicken Fried Rice- medium; and the Half Order of Crispy Rolls. Once I went home to dig in, I just couldn't get into the rice like I thought I would. The rice wasn't as good as I remembered, and it was more of a bland taste, and the chicken wasn't good. It was a medium spice though. I just didn't care for it, and I ate half of a Crispy Roll, and ended up throwing the rest of the rolls out. Overall, the rice was ok, but for the price, I didn't feel it was worth it. They do provide nice size portions, but the food was a miss this experience. I won't give up so soon, as I know the food has been way better. So I'm sure I will order again from this restaurant, and hopefully I will have a better experience next time! read more

I've been eyeing this place for a month or two and I'm SO glad I ended up getting it - wow, their curry is incredible. We got two types of red curry and I added fried tofu to both, as well as a large container of tom kha. Everything was perfect and so flavorful and fresh. The larger soup sizes are amazing for sharing, it comes in a tall deli container that stores well. We got it planning to store it in the fridge for the next day, and it was perfectly packaged for that - so glad it wasn't in styrofoam. Their heat scale is a lot spicier than other places locally - Which is a good thing, as normally we want to up the spiciness in my house. IMO if you normally order medium or hot at other restaurants, you might want to try mild + or medium to start. read more

Been a while since I had been there, used be a more regular spot for me so I had some time and a taste for Thai so I popped in. Ordered my usual Pad Prik with beef extra hot, my one disappointment was my server entered as medium, not nearly spicy enough for me, but still satisfied my craving. We ordered for the first time this evening we had several orders of fried rice and pad Thai. This is the first Thai place that I had fried rice with no soy sauce. I had a feeling when I opened it it would not have much flavor as the rice was plain white. I was right. The portion size was good and ingredients seemed fresh just lacked flavor. I'd suggest adding soy to the friend rice or maybe specify that it is white rice with veggies and egg. The spring rolls where great and the pad Thai was good as well. This is the Roseville location which I prefer and will drive across town to get. Shrimp chips are delicious and never stale. The crab Rangoon is always perfectly done could use more crab (but When is there ever enough crab). Spring rolls are delicious and well proportioned. All the company sources such as the plum and sweet-and-sour always on point. My go to is always the chicken pad Thai with medium spice, I think they have a new Chef because it seems hotter than it normally used to be. Overall very good service, Quick with a refill and a smile. The only reason why I didn't give full stars is because they're using Styrofoam containers and the carry out portion is way less than it normally would be if you were to sit down which I find to be the norm. Pro tip get the peanut sauce as an extra it's always great on everything else because you'll have left over of that lol. read more

Attempted to grab some Thai food on a Sunday but my normal location (Lil Thai Express) was closed. So I went on GrubHub and found this location. Our order was ready while on the way but when we arrived my boyfriend was told there was no order under either of our names. The person then walked away without resolving the issue. We are now closing in on 20 minutes past the time the order was marked ready, I would have left but we attempted to see what was the problem since the order was already paid for. I catch a worker walking to the front desk where bags of carryouts are set and ask her if she can find out what is going on... She asks the name and looks at the bags... Me: Rachel Her: nope... What's the phone number Me: xxx... Her: nope. Oh here... It's Rachel K. Me: Ummm... Yeah wtf. How many Rachel's is it? This is ridiculous. But wait...it gets better. In case a few incompetent workers might not enough for me to decide not to return, as we leave with our order that's been sitting out all this time getting colder and head to the car. The worker follows us to the door. Her: Ma'am Me: (assuming she's going to apologize but it's truly not needed at this point as life is too short to reattempt) Yes? Her: Don't order here again. Oh, honey, we're on the same page with that one. It's not about a screw up. That's not the first nor last time that will happen on carryout. My husband loves this place and I will grudgingly go with him, but the food just isn't that good. The service is great and friendly. Food come quickly. But the couple of times I've been there, it's just mediocre. I had steamed broccoli with scallops in a peanut sauce. There's crunchy steamed and then there's simply raw and twice I've had broccoli that just wasn't cooked. And tonight I even asked if what I received was peanut sauce and they assured me that it was. It was not...I think I know the difference between brown sauce and peanut sauce. Asked for it medium and there was no heat to it at all. Hey...they have good coffee!! Solid Thai fare at a decent price. Theyve got a decent bottled beer selection and ive never had a complaint about the pad thai, pad seew, drunken noodle, or the kow pad kra tiem fried rice. The chicken is always a solid protein option, but they do a good fried tofu as well (especially in a spicy dish, i call them my little flavor mines) the bangkok chicken is also a solid choice for picky eaters and people who only like "meat and potatoes" meals. Its a good sweet and sour fried chicken with white rice. Simple and palatable. I only wish they still had a tofu appetizer with their old apple vinegar dressing. Theyve also recently 86ed all their green bean dishes, which is truly a shame as thats what my partner always ordered. So sadly we dont dine there as much when were both eating together. I will say they have a generous 1/2 off monday pad thai special, but for me you gotta dine in. The pad thai is the only dish there that doesnt translate well to carry out or warming up. It just bakes the flavor right out of it. Eating in is its own reward as the waitstaff are very kind, communicative, and attentive and the food comes piping hot out of the kitchen made fresh. Pared with a cold Tsing-Tao, its truly a pleasure. And even their lunch portions are a good two meals. I do hope the expand their hours again, if only till 10pm. read more

The mediocre reviews almost scared me away from this one, but I'm so glad they didn't. This place was SO GOOD. I had family in town and we ordered a few dishes and shared. Prices were solid, portions were huge, and the flavors were incredible. Bangkok Chicken was unique and delicious, lightly breaded with a sweet and sour sauce and green onions. The Pra Ram Long Song was maybe the star? Steamed broccoli stir-fried with peanut sauce and then with your choice of meat added. Oh my God. This peanut sauce was incredible and it was plentiful. I could not get enough of this dish. The chicken satay was OK - large pieces, but again had generous peanut sauce, which was incredibly good, same went for the Thai salad. The Pad Thai was perfect, and I rarely rave about this dish. Easy to mess up, but hard to make stand out, and this one did, with real depth of flavor. I am so happy I tried this place and look forward to ordering from them more! read more
