This place was amazing! I spent a total of almost $80 and got my moneys worth. I ordered 3 entrees along with 2 appetizers - the portions were incredibly generous and the food was great quality. People talk about "quality over quantity" but this place does both! The service was good, she was very kind and served us water even though I was just there for pickup. We also came in and sat down right before closing and they were so polite about it. The restaurant itself was clean and sanitary but could use some improvement - maybe some more decor or lighting. It has the basic requirements to have an okay ambiance, but could just use a little work. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here and it was clean, cozy, and yummy. Order Pad woon sen and fresh rolls. The Pad woon sen was terrible, almost tampered with. Fresh rolls were fine. Money was refunded because the the Pad soon sen was inedible. Didnt even attempt to offer a replacement. Pretty sure this place is shady. Dont go here, Amarin is across street and much better read more

We ordered takeout but the food didn't match up with the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the flavors were muted and bland. I ordered pad thai, and I knew by looking at it that something was wrong. The noodles were beige and looked barely sauced. I couldn't taste any peanut flavors or spice. I ended up making my own peanut sauce the next day and stir frying the noodles. First time trying this as take out. It was very easy and smooth to call in to make a pick up order. When you walk in to pick up the food it's a smaller, quaint sized restaurant. It has a quiet and cozy environment. We ordered the pad seew, pad ped and crispy roll. Both pad seew and pad ped were on the sweeter side as what we are used to. But they were both pretty good. Feeling a little under the weather with sinuses I felt like some hot pho was in order. My friend went and picked up a carry out order for us. Everything was packaged nice and secure and there was plenty of toppings for the pho. The broth was rich and flavorful. My friend went with the beef Pad Thai and he ate every bite. He got his a little extra spicy and I teased him while the sweat was coming down his face. We shared the order of the cream cheese and crab wontons. It came six to an order and they were large and stuffed. Everything we tried was fresh and tasty. I'd like to come up here next time to dine in and try some new dishes. read more

I was already skeptical because they are very clearly a Thai restaurant that just happens to have pho on the menu but it was highly recommended. I will say the Thai wings were good but nothing out of the ordinary. It's just sweet and sour sauce. The pho was also good but nothing to write home about. I'm happy to say This Thai meal settles the day It's one of the best meals I've ever had! We ordered Pineapple Fried Rice with Beef, Hot along with a side of Red curry sauce. It was sooo flavorful and enough for 2 adults and a teen. The spice level was just what I expected, probably the equivalent of medium at other places. Or maybe my spice level has reached its heights. Either way, delish! The beef was tender and the sauce was even better than my all time favorite: Bai Mai Thai. Don't get me wrong. If I'm downtown Detroit, I will still enjoy it. The title of this review is simply edible. I chose this place on a quest to find good Thai food. This was NOT it. I ordered massaman curry, drunken noodles, and fried rice. The potatoes in massaman were burnt. I smelled burnt on the drive home but I didn't want to believe it was my food. They knew it was burnt coming out of the kitchen. The rice tasted old and the noodles were meh. I will definitely cross this place off the list. read more

They are open for dine-in until 9pm. Dine-in is closed by 8:30pm. Luckily it's not too far from us. Ordered a Pad Thai with chicken and steamed tofu and veggies, extra extra , large chicken pho and chicken pineapple fried rice medium plus. The chicken pineapple fried rice was okay. Only had about 3-5 pieces total. The pad Thai was okay, decent flavor and heat. Some thai chili would have made the dish even better. Noodles were cooked well enough. The chicken pho broth was so-so, not super flavorful on its own. Still not super flavorful after eating some hoisin and sriracha either. The pho is all about the broth. The chicken was white meat and not fatty, only had one gristly piece in it. My noodles were in multiple clumps and not maybe overcooked and slightly mushy too. Service was good. read more

Got carry out, so close we are able to walk here. Food was ready on time and super hot/fresh. Got the pad Thai again and crab cheese wontons. The sauce that comes with the wontons are divine, I might just order two orders of this next time and not get pad Thai because that's how delicious it is. The food here is great! The staff is nice and friendly. It's family owned and they put hard work into their business. I got the papaya salad, pork belly and spicy squid. Everything is just as I ordered. Papaya salad was very authentic and not like other Thai restaurants that's more vinegary. Pork belly and spicy squid was very good. I haven't tried anything else because I'm so stuck on these 3 dishes. I'll get to them but I just love these 3, makes me feel like I'm back in my country. Definitely recommend if you're on this side of town. I drive from downriver and west Bloomfield to come here. Betty and Tommy served me and they were an absolute delight! This is the second location of pho tai on dequindre between 12 and 13 mile. I'm so happy they created another location closer to home. Though it is super close to another Thai restaurant that's been there for a very long time. But at least they offer other foods other than Thai food also. Same with the other location, their peanut curry is delicious! The food is the same taste and quality as their other location but they don't offer everything that's offered at the second location. But that is because they added teriyaki things to it to give a little more variety. I hope they are doing well during this pandemic. The parking lot is small, the building is smaller... but still a good amount of tables to seat at. I believe people mainly do carry out here anyways. Just plain lazy cooking on these dishes * check your orders: they forgot my appetizer 2. Above average Phó to be honest .had chicken Pho and it was very aromatic - good broth over all. 3. Very generous amount of everything you need to make a perfect bowl of pho. Most restaurants short you on size and the ingredients when you order a Togo of pho. I had the chicken pho to go and it was delicious. The staff is friendly and quick! The only thing they forgot to give me in my Togo bag was chopsticks but it was my bad not asking for some.
